This spot is so popular with bikers that they had to put a sign stating “no bikes”, just an fyi fellow bikers! They also have a taco truck for any to go orders. Been going here for years and it’s a must when visiting Alviso.“

“This small Korean establishment is in the heart of Japan Town in SJ. We ordered the Flaming Fondue Chicken, Bibimbap, and the Ramen Tofu Soup. Like every Korean spot, it's always a good choice to go family-style and share everything. This trinity combination of rice, chicken, and soup was excellent. The Bibimbap with gochujang was flavorful and included the 'burnt rice' so you're given an extra crunch per bite. The Ramen Tofu soup (medium spice) was a great compliment to the bibimbap. It wasn't too spicy and just right. It also came with a raw egg you break into the soup so it slowly cooks. The Flaming Fondue Chicken was not really spicy (although it says it is), but I guess it spice levels varies from person to person. The cheese on it was a neat addition to the chicken. The server also made sure to check up on us often which our visit more welcoming. Would definitely come back!“

“We are from Connecticut, and during a recent trip to the Bay Area, we had the extreme good fortune to try the Afghan Awasana Kabob House. Oh my ... what an experience! The food was superb … an epicurean delight, but also plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The qabuli palow - a lamb shank dish was a standout, and the squash bolani - a stuffed flatbread was out of this world. The owner was very friendly during dinner, only to be surpassed by what happened after our dinner. Upon leaving, our car would not start. The owner offered to jump start our car. When that did not work, he offered us a ride back to the house where we were staying ... which we gratefully accepted. On the way, while we were thanking him profusely, he indicated that this was not an imposition as he routinely gave rides to his workers. I was moved to tears with his generosity. The Afghan Awasana Kabob House stimulated my palate, satiated my appetite, and above all, nourished my soul with renewed faith in the kindness of humanity. A truly memorable evening that will not soon be forgotten.“

As we were walking over, we thought, "Oh, this replaced the burger place." Outdoor and indoor seating available. Upbeat and fast tempo house music playing. Nicely and festive decorations. Service was super friendly and nice. You order at the front, get your number, and they will bring your food to your table. Birria Nar-Chos: Nachos, Birria Meat, Nacho Cheese, Chips, Pico De Gallo, Sour Cream, Jalapenos, Nar Sauce. Pretty good portion size and the amount of meat is pretty good. The birria meat is tender and moist. A shareable meal! Burrito Super: Choice of filling, pinto or black beans, spanish rice, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, crema & guacamole. We also got the birria meat. This was a tasty burrito.“

They were fuzzy green. Staff was polite and attentive. “I've gone here at least 10 times before writing this review. No one has a better Dan Dan noodle than dough zone, hands down. The spice and the flavor and portion are all unique to dough zone. Everywhere else I've gone has peanut butter noodles. Their XLBs are reasonably priced for 8 pieces and consistent in quality. I know I'll be happy with these XLBs no matter when I order the (morning, midday, night), which can't be said to other places. Love their pig ear, Q-Bao, wontons, steamed and fried dumplings--literally everything on their menu. My absolute favorite thing about dough zone is that I can order many dishes and get variety without spending too much or ordering too much (quantity). For the ambiance, it has a sleek/modern look, so it feels clean. One of my favorite places to go!“

“We've eaten at Naschmarkt many times through the years. This is the third time under the new ownership. It has maintained it's spot as one of campbell's best restaurants. Service was excellent from seating to paying the bill. This time we got appetizers each and shared a nightly special. The chilled Cuumber and avocado soup was divine and the butter lettuce salad is always excellent. Unfortunately we had to make modifications to the special to fit my spouse's dietary needs and we think that contributed to a bit too salty of a dish. Of course prices have gone up, and that contributes to a feeling of a bit less value for money. But we left full!“
