“You know what. I love Sushi and I’ve traveled around trying many sushi restaurants trying to find unique quality sushi restaurants that have that flare to make you want to come back again and again. I found that this Sushi restaurant was one of those I would visit again. You know what sets it apart. Is the sushi guys at the sushi bar that welcome you in and make sure to say goodbye on your way out. Not only is there a great greeting, but the service is great too. Even though they are small they pumped out the orders with great speed and finesse. Also, they have very unique sushi rolls that I haven’t seen at most sushi bars. As a sushi enthusiast, it fabulous to find new rolls to try and of course stick with the occasional favorites. Thanks again for the great food and we hope to visit you once again when we are back in town.“

“This place has quickly become one of our top sushi spots! We can't get enough of the hamachi toro, bluefin toro, and wagyu nigiri. Each bite is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. As for rolls, the Dragon and Waikiki are always a must, with a perfect balance of flavors and freshness.

What really stands out is the incredible value. The quality of the fish is outstanding for the price. The owners are genuinely friendly, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel welcome. We go more than once a week, and every visit impresses us even more!“

“Literally the best poke place ever. I’ve been going here ever since it first opened when I went to El Modena High School 6 years ago and always on my list of places to come back to eat when visiting from college. Prices have to change here and there due to inflation but has always been reasonable and a lot better than other places. It’s a local Japanese family that owns this place too and has been so nice every time. I saw someone complain about portions but it’s really up to you with what you get, they offer ALL these complimentary toppings for free but if you choose to not have them then it’s on you.

“The burgers were amazing- so tender and juicy for a default medium/medium well burger! The fried chicken sandwich was also so juicy and yet crispy, in fact I think my friend and I both preferred that, please don’t tell the owners! Just kidding..but it was great. Very light batter, but just enough crunch. The mochi waffle was yummy, and the combo of hot waffle and cold ice cream was uber-comforting. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple but extremely well thought-out meal.“

“Saw a picture of the Yakisoba Katsu sandwich and I had to have one! It was awesome! The Katsu was crispy and the meat tender. In short it was perfect! (not dry at all!) the yakisoba noodles was a nice addition as it absorbed the tonkatsu sauce and the cole slaw dressing! I also loved the brioche bread! A perfect touch. The sandwich was delicious and not like anything I have tasted before! This with a side of the curry fries! (YUM!) I'll definitely be back for more!“

“Decided to come here for a lunch takeout and was immediately greeted with a courteous smile. I ordered a half chicken katsu and half beef belly curry and it was delicious. Chicken katsu has a nice crunch and texture to it and the beef belly has a nice crisp and soft texture at the same time. I will definitely be back in the near future to their other dishes.“

“On Sunday evening, after my son finished his Taekwondo tournament in Tustin, I searched for nearby Ramen restaurants and drove my family to Yoshiharu Ramen.

To my surprise, only one server was attending to 80% of the customers. Since my kids were hungry, we decided not to spend time going to another restaurant. Therefore, we ordered the following items:

• Tonkatsu Black ($18.00)
• Tonkatsu Spicy Black ($18.50)
• Rib Eye Beef Bento ($20.00)

After waiting for 20 minutes, two bowls of Ramen arrived. I almost finished my meal when my wife and daughter realized the Bento had not arrived yet. I asked the server about it, and she apologized, explaining that it was taking longer than expected.

Advice to the Owner: To ensure better business, please consider hiring more servers and not cutting back on labor costs. Customers don’t like waiting.

If the waiting time improves, we will definitely return.

My husband and I try different sushi variations every time we get to go. We've gone to different sushi places and this one is one we keep coming back to. They also do a cool disco party situation to celebrate someone's birthday, it's pretty neat.“

If you think you can get salmon anywhere else, ohshima offers something different. The cherry salmon they have is heavenly. What you cannot miss is the love orange clam and black cod sushi. “Bari Bari is under new management. They took off all the surcharges on any credit cards or any other forms of payment. We have eaten there multiple times now since the new owners took over and they are doing such a great job. The food was AMAZING and the whole restaurant seems to be much better than before. “Had combo chicken/beef bowl and a dragon roll to go. Franks hot sauce and they’re in house teriyaki. Using flame broiler as standard Fugi is a 10 Flame Broiler an 8. Fugi is more $$ but, the food for me is truly next level. Rice is delicious chicken and beef is superb. The dragon roll nice and spicy and fresh tasting.“
