“This is one of the best Teriyaki place in the area! Consider this as a small mom and pop restaurant that gives you generous portion with flavorful taste. My personal favorite is Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo plate. My wife loves sushi so she usually gets Alaska Dream and Americano. We come here at least once a month and never get disappointed!“

“Silver Sake “Where Everybody Knows Your Name”. This is the go to place for sushi. It’s more than good food. It’s an experience. The staff from chefs, wait staff, to kitchen staff, greet, engage you with friendly smiles. The food is always amazing my kids enjoy their chef choice (Omakase) rolls. Matter of fact we always leave it up to the chef to make whatever they see fit to serve us. Never been disappointed and always left our appetites pleasantly satisfied. When it’s time to leave, as you walk out the doors, you’re always sent off with “ We’ll See You Tomorrow”. It takes every ounce of willpower to not return the next day.

“So far, I have tried the following gimbap, spicy pork, beef bulgogi, and the seoul 1979. Didn't like the seuol one - not enough ham it so you cant really taste it. The beef bulgogi is good, but I loved the spicy pork one. Good flavor and has a little kick to it. I also tried the korean corn dog, and it was ok. I didn't like the sausage inside. Service is friendly. They have a lot of different items to try so definitely will be back.

Update: Went back again and I finally tried a different dish which as the chicken kansu curry which was so good. Chicken was super crispy and not dry. Comes with a side of curry, cabbage and rice. All.of ot was yummy!“

“I visited here for the first time tonight and had the BEST experience! I had just gotten off a long and busy shift at work and wanted to treat myself to dinner. I looked up some sushi restaurants nearby and spotted this one and wanted to give it a try! Everyone from the hosts, servers, and chefs were so kind and attentive. I ordered the Salmon Truffle Sashimi and Sun Roll and it was genuinely the most quality fish I’ve had and hands down the best sushi rolls I’ve eaten! “This place is such an amazing local gem! Its very casual atmosphere is welcoming, and gives off half Japanese bodega/restaurant vibes, as they have both imported goods and yummy eats. The staff is so friendly and honestly made it feel like family serving us. I felt like we were actually eating in a local restaurant in HI, their family is originally from HI, so man the local grindz and chill vibe was spot on. I had the sesame chicken bento box and tempura shrimp à la carte, hubby had a sushi roll with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, and salmon on top. Everything was really good, very fresh and so ono/oishii. Loved that the tempura and sesame chicken were battered not panko crusted, although they do have panko crusted things on the menu that I’m sure are super yummy. And we had to try their HI snow, which is actually legit HI shave ice, not shaved ice, actually soft shave ice. They even import their syrups from the islands. So so amazing. Thanks for the warm welcome for our first visit Kristy, hope I got your name right. Everyone should check out this place which has been around for nearly 31 years!! “I've eaten here probably close to 30 times since they opened, including pickups during covid. There's a few Ramen spots around Roseville at this point, but they are the best. For that classic Ramen, just get the fukumi ramen with spicy on the side. Also, for when they finally open indoor dining, they sell beer for like 3ish dollars, which is awesome.

Edit 4 years later: I can track inflation with my fukumi takeout receipts. Have probably had close to 300 bowls of ramen from them.
Still the best around the area despite numerous other spots opening. Their thick noodles just hit different. The only criticism I have is that occasionally hey have an off day with the broth tasting slightly less umami. Not sure if it's the broth itself, or maybe the aromatic oil being different, so if you try them a single time and it was so so, that could be why. Also, their beer prices went up, but what can you do. Still 5 stars 🤝“

She was always refilling waters, getting us more napkins or small plates or ginger, and asking if we needed anything. The light cream sauce in which the seafood and el Dante udon noodles was served in a well presented manner made my weekend special. Love the food, one of my favorite places. But last time I used the online ordering system, it sent my food to the wrong location. I called to ask what happened, but what I was told is that all I could do is come pick up my already cold order. It was good but cold. Ill come back because I like the food, but customer service could use a little work.“

“I liked the sushi. The all you can eat menu is good and has a lot of items. I mostly like the shrimp tempura rolls and other sushi is good too. I did feel the sauce on some of the sushi made the sushi taste too sweet but overall a good dining experience. The garlic edamame is awesome, very garlicky and delicious, fried rice and miso soup was good. It's also nice to be able to order half rolls, that way you can try a bunch of different sushi“

“Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.

Whether it’s a casual lunch or a post-shift sushi fix, Mizuki is always my go-to. Can’t recommend it enough!“
