“Their Tan Tan Men Ramen are the best! I love how I have the opportunity to customize our ground meat choices (I.e. ground pork or ground chicken). Topped with nori, baby bok choy, bean sprouts, hard-boiled egg, and ground meat, the ramen have the perfect flavor. Their chicken karaage were the best too!“

“We have been customers of Kai Ramen 4 years but because of destiny customers of this Arcadia location 2 years. Always worth the drive & with traffic on the 134/210. We are always greeted politely. The servers are always polite & detail oriented. Featured in the photo volcano ramen, spicy beef ramen, edamame, & spicy tuna crispy rice and gyozas.“

“This place was absolutely amazing! I normally don't review a place until I've been to it at least three times, but this is my second time and I just had to review it. The first time we came we ordered ramen and it exceeded our expectations and we also got the yakitori platter which was great because you get to try a little bit of everything. The broth on the ramen was super tasty. And we also got a tea which was really good. The Negima yakitori was my favorite! The decor of the place is super nice too and the music playing is really good. It's also very clean and you can tell a lot by how clean a restroom is. The second time we tried the tonkatsu omurice and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely amazing! The curry sauce that goes on top is 🤌 definitely a shareable size and you can get some yakitori on the side. For dessert, we had the cherry blossom jelly and it is one of the most unique things I've ever tried. It is a very refreshing dessert. The staff was also really nice and super helpful both times that we came. Asking if we had any questions on the menu and also just trying to make our experience the first time a really good one. This place is definitely 5/5. Highly recommend.“

“This is a really good sushi spot in a food court. The tempura, sushi, and bento boxes reminds of the old Sushi on Garfield takeout restaurant in Monterey Park (now permanently closed) before the owner changed its menu, but Sushi In The Box has many more choices.“

“Hands down the best ramen we’ve ever had! The Red King ramen was incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the chicken karaage as a side, and it was fantastic as well. The service and atmosphere were both wonderful and made the experience even better. I loved how they give you a menu and a marker to mark and fully customize your ramen. Can’t wait to come back!“

“I’ve always passed by here but never tried it. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their spring rolls, takoyaki, and popcorn chicken ramen to try. The spring rolls were interestingly cut but very good. Crispy shell with savory veggie filling. Also came with a side of soy sauce for dipping. The takoyaki were crisp with a gooey center, topped with like a sweet mayo, and had a tender not too fish piece of octopus in the middle. The popcorn chicken ramen came with a BUNCH of MASSIVE pieces of crispy, juicy, savory chicken. Like can u even call this popcorn chicken still if they’re this big? Surprisingly paired well with the ramen which also came with came with green onions and pickled ginger, that helped add a brightness to the bowl and wood ear mushrooms, and half an egg. The broth was really savory but not super rich and oily which my sensitive tummy appreciated. The noodles also surprisingly stayed pretty chewy while I was eating them even tho they were soaking up the broth. This place is pretty good.“

“Simple and straightforward menu. It doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed looking at the menu. Staff are super friendly and attentive! Indoor seating only. Very clean! Portion is very affordable, I ordered one bowl and ordered extra noodles and an empty bowl. It was perfect for my two kiddos to share!
I really wanted to try the calamari but it was sold out. So definitely gotta come back next time to try it.
They have good mix of long tables for bigger parties and small tables for 2-4ppl. They can adjust the level of saltiness of the ramen which is awesome! Never been to a ramen spot that has offered that before.
Ordered 3 bowl of tonkatsu ramen, karrage chicken, beef gyoza, and a Sapporo. It was all perfect for our ramen loving family! Definitely recommend you checking them out!“

“Went on a cool Saturday evening, with my Husband and Mom. Plenty of seating indoors or outdoors. Clean establishment. Friendly staff. Had some appetizers, the classic with chicken 🍗 and a spicy 🥵 with pork 🐖. Everything was delicious 🤤, even got to take my leftovers home. 🥢 🍣 🍜 It was about $80 💰 for all three of us👍🏽.“
“This place is excellent service and it's like a super market and have fresh fish, lobster and any kind of sea food. This place has fresh sushi made there and all kinds of variety. They also have a eatery that's reasonable prices and they also have all meat and they weigh it by the pound and it's fully cooked. All the vegetables and fruit are always fresh. If you love Asian food this is the place to get everything you need. They also have stuff for woman and all the products that they need to take care of themselves. They also have a place for the kids and toys are all Japanese made. They also have a section that has hard liquor and beer of all kinds. I would recommend this place to everyone to go. It's the best experience and the people are very respectful to the customers.“

“Cute homey Japanese vibes. It’s a small restaurant so I can see there’d be a wait on busy days. Luckily we only had to wait about 5 min. The menu is straightforward. Comfort Japanese dishes. Service was great, they’re super nice and very attentive!
The tempura was good, sauce was great too. Katsu was fried perfectly, sauce was tangy and fantastic, just wish the pork was more moist/tender. Karaage was just okay, probably wouldn’t order it again, most of the flavor came from the sauce. My dad loved his eel bowl set, flavored and cooked well. My katsudon bowl was delicious, again katsu was a little dry, togarashi is a must with this bowl. And the cold soba noodles were great, the sauce dip was perfectly seasoned and noodles were perfect texture, very refreshing to eat.
Parking - small free lot! We had no issues getting parking.“

“TSUKE Artisan Noodle is absolutely outstanding. The noodles are perfectly cooked with great texture, and the broth is rich, deep, and full of flavor without being too heavy. Every ingredient tastes high-quality and thoughtfully prepared.
The tsukemen is especially impressive—bold, savory dipping broth paired with chewy noodles makes every bite satisfying. Portions are generous, and the presentation is beautiful.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe feels clean, modern, and welcoming. Easily one of the best artisan noodle spots around. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!“

“Last minute pick for a business dinner, and my colleagues weren't disappointed. The rolls were good, but the sashimi was amazing. One colleague said the best she's ever had, and I'd place it among my top 3. Their fish is on point, so is their service. Spaced out tables let's you really soak in the atmosphere and enjoy your table's conversation. Visit this area pretty frequently and will definitely be back. Thank you!!“

“The food was really however you had to pay like 2 dollars for each additional topping which wouldn't be so bad if it were a sharable size so more than one person could use them

“Love this place just down the way from a HS. Gives the student a place to eat within walking distance and lovely to have a great ramen place locally. The food is always consistently delicious and the place is small, simple and clean. Easy to order, delicious food. The shoyu and tonkotsu ramen are so tasty and goes so well with their garlic paste. The spicy tuna bowl, spicy tuna on crispy rice and pork buns are alternatives to those who want less carb heavy bowls. A wonderful, local find in MPk.“

“Came here for Father & Daughter Valentine’s Day Lunch. First thing that stood out was how beautiful the interior was, my daughter and I loved being able to sit in the booths. The food was great, a little pricey but that’s expected with Sushi. I recommend getting the mushrooms as an appetizer! I also want to give a shoutout to Megan who was our server that day. She was really sweet and attentive, really enjoyed her positive spirit while we were there. I managed to get a Polaroid with her that they were doing for Valentines Day. Overall great lunch. Will be back again.“

“This restaurant is standing alone in the middle of office buildings. There’s no other restaurants nearby and pretty small. Just 10-15 tables. I ordered the hot & sour ramen soup and spicy seafood one I can't remember the name! But it was super flavorful!.💯👍🏻 Also got some appetizers of mixed tempura. The noodles are delicious here! We ordered another noodle on the side. I’d recommend coming to try they had a big menu! It’s unique and can’t really find these elsewhere. It’s also filling! Keep in mind, you will have to wait for a bit. Parking is also limited. I gotta come back to try the other noodles! Just got only one picture cuz when they served it I can't wait and I realized when all the noodles are gone!🤣
Highly recommended 💯“

“No amount of poorly-written AI reviews can do this awesome place justice, so as always, you're getting a human-written review from a human-experienced event. Yesenia was our server and she was a 10/10 all-around super professional server from the moment we set fot in the establishment. The food itself is unmatched. I have been to their San Gabriel location at least 3 or 4 times and this place is just as good in terms of flavor and quality. The ambiance is great, the server even went as far as lowering the window blinds after some new customers walked in and they sat close to one of the windows. Tsukemen will forever remain as my favorite kind of Ramen (it's basically cold noodles that you dip in a hot and salty broth served in a small bowl on the side). One of the assistant managers offered to help me in how to eat it but I was already familiar with the concept, so I thanked her for her offer and proceeded to eat. The fried chicken is another ball game, it's literally Japanese fried chicken but they also add a touch of some sort of honey-based syrup that makes it 100 times better. My parents had the tonkotsu and it was great too. Truly a remarkable experience in the heart of Old Town Pasadena.“

“You can’t go wrong with a bowl of ramen from Shin-Sen-Gumi. I’ve been coming here for years and it still hits. I always get the Hakata Red w/ corn (no bean sprouts). The chashu slices are hidden, but they’re in there. Great customer service as well!“

“I often come here with my girlfriend when it's cold. The food has good portions and is always nice and hot. I'm not quite sure why many of the reviews are hating on the cashier lady. Never had a bad experience with her, she doesn't talk much but is friendly if spoken to. Overall I enjoyed the food. Been coming here many years and will continue to do so.“

“this is definitely one of the noodle places
food was pretty good, but we ordered something asking for no allergens and they didn't make it with no allergens. my therapist will definitely be hearing about this once i get one.
EDIT in response to owner's response: It's been a while but it would have been egg and fish powder.“
