“Outstanding experience dining here. Our server was incredible, super knowledgeable, confident, and clearly not their first rodeo with gluten-free dining. They knew every single dish inside and out, proactively pointed out shared fryer cross-contamination details, and clearly walked us through which items were fully gluten-free outside of regular soy sauce (super helpful for anyone with different tolerance levels). Finding a spot where the front-of-house understands dietary nuances that well without making it feel like a hassle is rare. Fantastic food, top-tier service, and total peace of mind. We will definitely be back.“

“our server was so kind and helpful, recommended some super yummy wines (sparkling rose was excellent). we didn’t realize this restaurant/bakery were fully vegan and mostly gluten free, but it was such a fantastic surprise for my boyfriend and I, who are gluten and dairy free, respectively. the cheese board was delicious, fantastic quality, really a must for any dairy free cheese lover. we also got some eclairs, which are gluten free) and were amazing. we also had 2 fruit and custard tarts given to us as samples, and they were the most delicious thing i ate all day.“

“Buen Vino Lounge is the best wine spot in Azusa for an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. My close friend and I visited recently and truly enjoyed the experience. The empanadas are essential, especially the spinach and cheese (our fav!) Between the flavorful food, excellent red wines selection, and hospitable staff, it is everything you could desire for a night out.“

“This is such a special place. My boyfriend and I were staying at The Arthur Blair House for the weekend and they highly recommended it to us...we were so happy to take the suggestion. We were welcomed into such a delightful and warm environment and immediately sat at the bar. Julie, the owner, is the kindest and sweetest woman and she cooks like an angel. Even though the menu says small bites, the portions are large enough to share and they are so so good. The menu is great, but be aware that they may not have everything due to availability...but what is available is awesome. We ordered the Caesar salad and the surf and turf plates and it was delectable. Julie, who is also the wine director for the restaurant, offered us a great selection of little known wines that blew us away to complement her amazing food. She has cultivated an environment that feels like you're being cooked for by family or your best friend. We will be back to The Saltner, for sure, as it's a new favorite place. If you're ever in Monrovia, be sure to go, you'll be glad you did.“

This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. But what really stood out was the awesome service. There weren’t a lot of people working there, but all of them were hustling and making sure you are well taken care of. Ruth’s three-course meal did not disappoint! The 6 oz. Filet Mignon, ordered medium-rare, was excellent and cooked perfectly as requested. The Steak House Salad and mashed potatoes were outstanding choices and complemented the meal beautifully. To top it all off, the Classic Cheesecake was the perfect ending to a fantastic Friday evening dinner.
I will definitely be back!
