“Today, I just had to have Panda Express.
Thankfully, there was one at 850 Alosta, not far from my house.
A tall, pretty young lady (they are all tall because I'm short) greeted me on the way in, and I ordered "The Plate" which included rice, noodles, and two sides.
For most of the night before, I fantasized (and ordered) the Orange Chicken, which was a Panda Express specialty. For the second side, I ordered the String Bean Chicken Breast.
Panda carries your choice of bottled drinks, and I selected a Coke from Mexico.
The Orange Chicken was flavorful and juicy, paring well with the veggie taste of string beans.
I love the brown rice that comes mixed with peas and carrots, while the noodles are great with Pandas' own seasoning.
The restaurant is run by "by-the-book" management who continue to practice the strict Corona Virus cleaning procedures and wash the floor with a garden hose and strong germicide.
But, when the sun goes down at the end of the day, it's the great Panda tradition of a good old family restaurant, an ingredient long lost in the fast food industry.
Panda Express at the Citrus Crossing in Azusa...great dining for the whole family!
Parking: Spacious parking!
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access restrooms.“

“Great drinking food. Got the lamb, beef, squid and pork belly skewers. The pork was my fav out of those 4. The fried milk was surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the enoki mushroom, grilled scallop, and cheesy corn. Love the atmosphere and decor.“

“Got some craving for spicy Szechuan food so went to try this place. We ordered the fish fillet and intestine in hot chili sauce. That was good. Right amount of spiciness and broth. A little bit more meat in the pot, that would have been great. A small bowl of rice is $2. A bit steep. Service was great. The restaurant is facing the Peral plaza and nice to dine and people watch.“

“This is an unforgettable dining experience for me! The atmosphere is very happy and inviting, all the decors are so fun and gives out good vibes. The large iron stew is a must-try—delicious and ideal for sharing. The menu has a lot of with famous Chinese dishes. My favorite and unexpected dish was the traditional desserts with pears and a lot of longevity herbs. Totally recommend for family or celebratory occasions!“

“I’ve heard a lot of good things about Haidilao and finally came here for dinner today! I just wanna tell everyone to come here at least once! Everyone here is super friendly and helpful. They’re also very patient and knowledgeable about their menu. The most surprising is that, the staff team will sing a unique birthday songs to customers who come here for celebration. They also have some performances which are very entertaining. What an experience! Highly recommended!“

“Ordered Hainan Chicken and Double Potato Noodles. The Hainanese chicken is very tender and not fishy at all. The double potato noodles have a lot of ingredients. I ordered it extra spicy and it's full of flavor. I also ordered some fried skewers and they tasted good too.“

“What an awesome little restaurant that popped up here. Was looking to try something new and found this amazing little bao spot. The most amazing thing is how they fry these bao. The bottom is hard and crunchy and the top is soft, making a soup filled bao in either seafood, curry or the standard pork. They sell them in quantities of 6 and 2 to 3 is enough to fill me! Highly recommend a quick lunch or dinner here, you won’t be disappointed in the authentic flavors.“

“It’s such a treasure shop that you have to drive 30 miles to eat there. In particular, you should try their steamed buns and dumplings. The first choice is the green onion and pork stuffing. You can tell it is handmade as soon as you eat it. The dumpling skin is thin and the stuffing is big. The meat stuffing is full and chewy. The seasoning is very fragrant and has a homely taste. . The store is spacious and clean, and the waiters are very friendly. Great praise!“

“I'm giving them 5 stars for the quality and taste of their signature offering --- lobster! Ours was huge and expensive, but we allowed ourselves this luxury to satisfy our craving. Definitely worth our visit after a morning spent walking around Ikea. A friend of ours told us about this place a while back but we waited a long time to try them out. It was worth it. We had the lobster prepared their house special way! It came out of the kitchen quickly, perfectly seasoned and stir-fried. We ate it with some ong choy sauteed in garlic and some rice. The lobster proved too much for 2 people, but we didn't mind taking the rest home. Next time, we will definitely try their other dishes.“

“Surprisingly tasty! It's a hole-in-the-wall type of family restaurant. Food portions are substantial and rather affordable in price. Taste? Authentic mama type of cooking.
- Wonton: It is very good, but not the best in Socal like someone suggested.
- Pot stickers: The best dish today. Very crispy and filled with lean meat. Little fat.
- Porridge: porridge of the day is a sweet millet porridge. Not bad, very "Taiwan" like
- Steamed bun: lots of filling. Great baos.
Overall, satisfied and will be back! Recommend!“

“We were looking for a dim sum place and after a quick read through of reviews I thought this place had some. Well there was like 5 things. We ordered the chicken feet and it was pretty good. The rest were like actual authentic Chinese food (that you probably will need an acquired taste for) so unless you feel adventurous this isn’t your typical Chinese fare.I gave four stars because food wasn’t very hot although served pretty speedily. Portions were good too. The environment was ok, like a mom and pop restaurant with limited seating which is what I’d go for quiet, quick bite while watching some cdrama.. it’s just that this type of Chinese food isn’t my thing.“

“Excellent value, wonderful variety of dishes I haven't seen at other noodle places, and food came out quickly. Ordered Hainan chicken noodle soup, wonton noodle soup, green beans, and popcorn chicken and the portions were so generous we had to bring back more than half our food. The Hainan chicken was a particularly interesting dish because I haven't seen that flavor offered around these parts. Had a great meal and will be back for sure“

“It is nice Chinese restaurant, located in Valley Boulevard area of City of Industry. I have read good reviews, about this restaurant. So, one day, after work, in May of 2024, I decided to grab my dinner at this establishment. When I came, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. Of course, my visit was in the middle of the week. In addition, the staff were helpful and attentive. They also recommended certain meals to try out. Those meals were well-made, and in timely manner. At the same time, they were delicious. Of course, the prices, too, were not on the expensive side. So, if anyone is in City of Industry or La Puente area, I would recommend to stop by this restaurant. It is located at Rhino Plaza shopping area.“

“Let's get to the point: BEST LAMB SOUP EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. ? Don't get me wrong, the lamb dumplings and the meat pies are both freaking excellent, but the soup just takes it to a whole next level. It's amazingly savory and flavorful and you can really taste the quality lamb and all that lamb flavor in the broth itself. ?
There is a full sauce bar where you can make sauces for your soup or your dumplings. The sauce bar also has complimentary soup broth for you to have with your meal or refill your soup, (though this is a much watered down version of the real entree soup item.) They also give out complimentary milk tea, edamame, and snack jerky for the table. We also got complimentary milk tea while you wait, as the line can be long during peak hours, (though it does move fast.) So much free stuff! ?
My friend who is from Inner Mongolia was the one that took me here, and even she was impressed and said this is the closest thing to the food from her hometown. ?
This was such a great experience and the food was so freaking good that this has become a destination spot whenever I can make it out here to Rowland Heights! ?“

“The food was so good and the employees were so nice. I cannot stress about how much I’ve enjoyed my experience at that place. The price was very fair and they were extremely generous with their portions. The taste was very authentic, it tasted like it came from one of those five star seafood restaurants! If I can rate it higher I would rate it higher!“

“Went back to the restaurant and the restaurant has been remodelled and looks nice and clean.
They got new menu and new food and I tried the French style fish filet and taste so good with the fish being so fresh and also ordered my go-to food of sweet and sour pork, just like eating at Ongpin and orange chicken, who can say no to this dish. :) so to my Filipino friends, don't miss out this restaurant.“

We got the chicken chili dumplings and shrimp and pork chili dumplings (amazing), beef & broccoli (perfect amount of beef to broccoli ratio), orange chicken (perfectly fried pieces) & the hot & spicy fried rice, (best I’ve ever had). “So glad they opened one in this area so we don't have to go to the one in Rosemead! The food is consistently good here and we have always enjoyed all the dishes we have ordered. We've never had to wait for long compared to their other location. Love their beef rolls, dan dan noodle and beef noodle soup but honestly, everything is delicious. It seems like everyone really like their popcorn chicken so we will have to try that next time!“

“What to love about this place is first, how welcoming the staff is and how genuine and second, it’s a mom and pop shop. “I’m going to be honest. I have no idea how this place doesn’t have a line out the door every time we go there. But there food is amazing, the prices are unheard of, we feel guilty after we eat there and see the bill. So we make sure to tip well. Hands down one of our favorite dumpling places to eat at.“

“Simple Taiwanese lunch bentos, generally $11 each (since March 2024 I believe), cash only. Check the Facebook page for the daily menu. There is one option each for chicken, pork, or fish. Additionally, I believe you can call in ahead of time to order a fried pork chop (no walk-in orders for that). Each bento comes with a small soup. Flavors are on the lighter side; if you prefer stronger flavors, you might not enjoy these bentos.“

“Came to Dun Huang for our birthday dinner as per my sister's recommendations. Their menu is quite extensive and we opted to order several dishes to eat family style; love the convenience of ordering through the app; which allows all members of your party to add their desired dishes. All the dishes were well seasoned and very delicious. My favorite dishes were the whole fish and the cucumber appetizer. Will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.“

“The most important thing for those with allergies is that it is nut free. No peanuts in their Kung Pao chicken and she said no nuts in anything so no possibility for cross contamination. The almond cookies of course have an almond in them but they are individually packaged and not in the cooking area. They use soy oil. They don’t use MSG.
SERVICE: Ling was incredibly helpful answering my questions and figuring out what would work for me.
VIBE: The place, while not beautifully decorated is extremely clean.
FOOD: The food was really good. Of course taste is subjective - I grew up with proper Chinese food and this is proper.
QUALITY: excellent and fresh no browning on the veggies.
PORTIONS: Huge - one 2 item combo was enough for 2 people who eat healthy size portions. I could only eat half.
BONUS: Bilingual - Spanish didn’t seem to be an issue.
PRICES: Average. $9-13 for combos, $6 for soup, $1 for an egg roll.
Highly recommend not because it’s the #1 Chinese food place but the overall experience qualifies as 5 star in my book.
Vegetarian options: I asked the following are meat free…Veggie, Egg Drop and Hot & Sour soup, they will custom make soft or fried tofu and veggies for the combo plate, Veggie egg rolls, chop suey, etc.“

“We've been coming here for years. The ladies that works/ runs the place knows my name and my order. Staple for us is House Friedrice and House ChowMein. Wonton soup is so nice when I'm under the weather. Occasional additional entrees- Salty crispy pork , short ribs, sweet and sour pork, beef broccoli, etc. Not fancy but the food hits the spot.“

“The lady that served us was really nice. She is very attentive and suggested us a few dishes according to our preference, since some of us do not eat spicy. I was impressed by all the dishes we ordered. The lobster was so good, I was not expecting the lobster to be a popular dish since it is a Peking duck house. The eel stick rice was amazing too. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.“

“A good go to asian place. Fast service, nice staff. Sometimes they have trouble handling crowds, but otherwise never had a complaint with delivered, take out or dine in food. Has a decent variety and some vegetarian options too. It is a chain and this location does get busy - Lunches and Dinners can get a little slow service. But overall a great place.“
