“I’ve always enjoyed this location for its openness, cleanliness and convenience but I’m really here to comment a huge THANK YOU to the barista that took 2 seconds to write a kind note on my drink. There’s no way they could’ve known whats going on in my head today but I needed to read that hand-written note more than I even knew. The world really needs more kindness and light to drown out the hate and darkness, so again, thank you.
Oh also, the matcha w the non-dairy sweet cream & Blackberry Sage Refresher are delicious😮‍💨🙌🏻“

“The location was a little challenging to park and restroom guests before us had tried using them to shower. I imagine its hard to get in there quickly and clean it when they are so busy. Blake made this visit 5 stars ? the food and drink products were as expected, its Starbucks. Blake made a recommendation that tasted great. He was friendly, witty, and was a hard worker. He made this stop on our 5 hour drive so memorable. Thank you Blake, from the Mike/Ben team!“

“Jake and Marco went above and beyond to ensure my door dash order was correct. I’ve had a problem with an old order automatically being sent even though I’ve done everything on my end to correct the problem. They remembered the issue and had door dash driver call me to make sure the order was accurate. I can not tell you how much I appreciate the extra effort especially with all the recent changes. “My absolute favorite Starbucks location in Bakersfield. Have been going for years now to study and sometimes just to journal or draw. I love all the staff, they are truly the kindest people you will meet. They never get an order wrong and have samples of new creations at times. The bathrooms are always clean. The music choice has cracked some giggles along the way but never a major distraction. The atmosphere is very comforting and motivating to get studying and work done. It's also refreshing to overhear how the workers treat their other customers and regulars. I love this locations so much!!:))“

“Went in and purchased a $22 small insulated cup. I ask if the young lady could wash it, especially after being handled by a bunch of people, explaining that it was for my wife was in the hospital after emergency surgery to repair a broken left. I wanted to put her coffee and it and take it to her as a surprise instead of flowers which die. Then I discovered that the manager said no he would not do it, citing some type of policy. Of course once other customers heard that they were slightly outraged. Seeing the customers somewhat unhappy at this behavior, the young lady asked me if I would like to approach the manager again? I said no you obviously don't have the kindness or empathy involved to make an exception & to take care of this!“

“Held a meeting here twice. Parked at the back instead of front to prevent being blocked by vehicles at the drive thru line. Ordered a coconut latte both times. Service was good. Baristas/employees were friendly. Drink was delightful. Wi-fi worked well. Sat at table along the windows with stool/pub chairs. We were not disturbed even when we turned up the volume on a video tutorial from a laptop. They seemed to be tolerant. Meeting time was after 1pm. I recommend this location for small group meetings. “I hope the employees at this location get the credit they deserve. The early mornings at this location are the busiest I have ever seen at a local starbucks. Everyone from tired morning runners, to eager healthcare works, to exhausted students, show up at this location in the mornings and the customer service and hard work is always a 10. Everyone here is incredibly kind and I just hope customers appreciate their hard work.
I will say my brown sugar shaken espresso is pretty inconsistent sometimes but I think that drink is always inconsistent no matter the location. I should probably stop ordering it lol. Anyways, these guys rock and I love this location. :)“

“I recently had another fantastic experience with Barista Robin. Not only was she incredibly skilled and friendly, but she also consistently brightened our visits by warmly greeting my little girl. “I went in after my shift to grab a blended pineapple passion fruit lemonade and ashley made it perfectly. Was balanced perfectly with the feta wrap i had. It's always a good vibe here.

Vegetarian options: They got the feta wrap which is super good especially with a lil hot sauce. The impossible is to die for!!!

“This morning was crazy busy and these poor ladies making drinks were so incredibly stressed because people were rude and they were just trying to get orders out. As I got my last drink, the lady handed it to me and she was shaking. My heart sank straight to the floor. I've worked in customer service so I completely understood her stress. I told them they were all doing a great job then rushed to work. The whole time they had a smile behind their masks, sweet and friendly, did their best to fix orders that were wrong and did so in as quickly as they possibly could as orders flooded in. So I'm giving this location a 5/5 because no matter what was thrown at them, they continued to work super hard without an attitude. Also my drink and bagel made my day and it was super yummy.“

“The girl in the morning, with long black hair (I should of asked for her name), is such a sweetheart. I go here almost everyday when I can. She practically knows me by now and it's so weird and funny, but awesome at the same time lol. Also, the girl with long blonde hair as well. I swear you guys might even know what my car looks like at this point ??. It feels weird but nice knowing that you're a regular at a spot and someone says "I'll get it right out for you! ?.
I'm not a morning person so I don't really talk much. The most I can do is smile and say thank you until I'm fully awake, but I wanted to say thank you so much for your kind service! I will continue coming! Lol!“

“Definitely a Starbucks in a less friendly area. Locks on the bathrooms and no baby changing area. Staff were friendly but one of the reasons we stopped was because we needed caffeine and to change our baby. We thought it would be convenient.“

I just want to take a moment to recognize the amazing service at this location, especially from Dee! She is an absolute gem—always kind, warm, and welcoming, especially to my kids, who love saying hi to her the team and early shifts with Diamond. Dee’s energy is contagious, and you can tell she truly enjoys her job. Not to mention, she makes my drinks perfectly every time!

Even when the store is extremely busy, Dee and the team maintain their positive attitudes, which makes all the difference. I’ve had a few incorrect drinks in the past, but I take them anyway because I see and fully understand how hard they are working and how quickly they get each car out under 3 minutes , and their kindness and smiles make up for everything.

This store has truly turned around over the past several months, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. The training, customer service, and overall atmosphere are exactly what I would strive for as a manager during my time with Starbucks years ago and future. Thank you for hiring such dedicated employees who make the experience so enjoyable!

Kid-friendliness: The Valley Plaza Mall North Entrance Starbucks has all kinds of caffeine free Frappuccinos,kids hot chocolate, sweet treats for the kids and parents like cake pops, cookies, brownies or grilled cheese sandwiches, they have a wide variety and the customer service is amazing.

“I ordered using the mobile app. I entered the shop, and my order was prepared and ready to go. My order was made exactly to order.
The staff was friendly and greeted me upon entry and exit.
The store was extremely clean. There is a lot of merchandise for purchase.
The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of parking.

“I have not been pleased with this Starbucks customer service for a while ( my granddaughter and I come here at least once a week since it is in walking distance)…however it seems to be getting better lately. I want to give props to the little gal that set up this coloring station for the kids, what a great idea!Because of that I am rating them 5.“

“This Starbucks has the best overall design in Kern County, and I've been to all of them.Prices are higher than normal because of their contract with the school food provider. As an idea, medium iced coffee and breakfast sandwich cost me about $11.50. Flavor is what would be expected from a Starbucks, not worst or better.Quiet enough to study, good vibe. Will definitely hang out here more often. The couple times I've been in, it had always been clean.Service is average at best.

“Delicious as ever, my daughter is always also getting items off the menu, they will make whatever you want which is pretty cool, my only complaint is that dang line always out the door, I guess as John Travolta told Danny devito in i think get shorty is if you're important people will wait!“

“The Barista went above and beyond expectations! My daughter and I were reluctant to put in our special request which was for a blend we saw on IG. I asked the Barista if they were up to the challenge and they happily accepted. See the pictures for the results!

“I really liked Victoria! I actually had a great experience here. I usually feel rushed when I go into starbucks but wanted a drink and snack while I was shopping. First of all the cake pops are amazing, but Victoria spent her time with me showing me what was good and the seasonal drinks. She was so so sweet and was very knowledgeable about everything. Went into the Starbucks at the Gosford location to grab a venti pike and a lemon loaf. Upon entry, I was greeted with amazing smiles and a hearty welcome. “We had an amazing service today, my husband had just finished getting our drinks and we were getting ready to leave, and all of a sudden I see that my husband fall ?on the Starbucks parking lot and dropped the drink all over himself and on my car so I ran back inside Starbucks with my daughter and I explained what had happened outside. She didn’t hesitate and said that she would make our drinks, just bring in the stickers that were on the other drinks which we did. My husband came inside and asked if he could use the restroom so he could clean himself up because he had coffee all over his shorts arm and minor cuts due to the fall.

“Coffee was good. It's a decent Starbucks location, but the bathrooms have code locks on them and the bathrooms weren't as clean as they should have been. Don't plan on having a conversation with anyone or doing any brain work here, because the muisc is extremely loud, so you won't be able to hear someone well and you definitely won't be able to consentrait.“
