I got a combo plate and unlike other Japanese restaurants I actually got beef that was properly cooked. “I’ve been to this restaurant twice now, and both visits were enjoyable. I tried the hot sake, the salmon and California roll bento set, and the teriyaki beef plate. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the dining experience even better. “Food was amazing! Tried the chefs combo(turns out the chef I had was also the owner) to which every piece of sushi had a good portion of their choice on top. Miso soup was good and tried their double salmon roll special. Very flavorful and good portion on the inside and out. Place inside is small but doesnt feel cramped, servers and chef are hospitable and ambiance is calm. Great for a date or even just to relax. Definitely returning!

“Top tier sushi experience. They have limited seating in a confined interior, so there will be a long wait during weekends. I waited 45 minutes on Saturday night but it was worth the wait. The sushi premium set was filled with lots of high quality options and perfect for variety and quite filling. Staff are all very friendly and the interior is beautiful and clean.“

“We came out here from LA and this place was better than a lot of LA sushi spots! Such delicious creative rolls! I’m allergic to imitation crab meat and they had a lot of rolls without it, which is a good sign because that means the chef gets more creative with ingredients for rolls. Fish was great quality, sauces were amazing. Service was lovely. I can’t wait to come back!“

“I've never had a bad experience at Azabu. It's our fave date night dinner so we had to try it out on Valentine's Day. They had 2 pre fix menus available and it was the best experience. Our server, Rashawn (not sure on the spelling) was great. He was very attentive and took care of me since I have a raw shellfish allergy. Drinks and vibes were amazing as always.“

“I've gotten sushi here a few times via Doordash. The quality of the sushi rolls is good overall, but the portion has gotten very small. The vegetable tempura is subpar considering the price they charge. (The pumpkin is sliced so thin and the taro is cut like the size of a pinky!)“

“It’s a very small place, you have to park on the side or front street of the location. Placed a pick up order. Greeted as soon as I walked in. It wasn’t busy, so my order was ready when I got there. I would love to next time dine in. The rolls I order were delicious, my favorite was their crawfish roll. Definitely, will come back when I’m in the area.“

“They have great little snacks and food to go. They also make fresh stuff to go and seems they are popular for huge sushi platters and combos. I was here for new years and they had a lot of sushi platters for pick up. The sushi is good and fresh. They also have some really good spam musubi. A good assortment of Japanese/Asian foods, snacks and drinks.“

“This is a really good sushi spot in a food court. The tempura, sushi, and bento boxes reminds of the old Sushi on Garfield takeout restaurant in Monterey Park (now permanently closed) before the owner changed its menu, but Sushi In The Box has many more choices.“

“Went for a quick breakfast. Got a Mocha Latte and a Sausage and Bacon breakfast burrito. I thought it was a little pricey at $21. Burrito had a lot of potatoes and a little underseasoned. Overall it was really good and all ingredients tasted homemade. The atmosphere was different, yes it was a little cluttered but I personally dont mind that. Limited seating is available so I recommend getting to food to go. I think I'll give this place another shot next time I am around.“

The food was great, a little pricey but that’s expected with Sushi. I recommend getting the mushrooms as an appetizer! I also want to give a shoutout to Megan who was our server that day. She was really sweet and attentive, really enjoyed her positive spirit while we were there. I managed to get a Polaroid with her that they were doing for Valentines Day. Overall great lunch.
