“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “It was even better than I remember. I had the catfish po boy, chicken & waffles. The French bread, remoulade sauce & generous seasoning of the fish were delicious. I would definitely not consider myself a grits fan but the fried cinnamon sugar grits…so good. I can definitely post photos of empty boxes but other than that ??‍♀️. “The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. Can’t wait to come back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you for the great service and amazing lunch.😇“

“The Boil Daddy never misses! From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing — the staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly sweet and attentive. The food? Chef’s kiss — everything was so flavorful and fresh. The vibe of the place is fun and relaxed, and the prices are super reasonable for how much food you get. “To be quite honest, the bowls are a great deal for the quality of food and the amount they give you. Washington roll is really good and the miso soup it's more than reasonably priced as well. This is definitely a go to. Off of Telegraph and where Rosemead turns into Lakewood next to the doughnut shop. :p“

“My mom brought me here and I give it a 5 star. We ordered the buttery Cajun seafood, added egg roll, fish and chips (for the kids) , we also ordered sisig and I must admit FOOD WAS GREAT. Family owned very accommodating. Price is affordable. The place is small but clean it's perfect for family to eat lunch & dinner... Definitely will come back here, must try the kare-Kare & the fish. Heard it super tasty.....

Parking is plentiful since it's located in a shopping center.

“I really enjoyed the Nola vibes in the seating area on the side of the building. I was worried that the cajun seasoning on the tots would be spicy but it wasn't, and they were very good. I also had the chicken sliders without the hot sauce, and they were also good, but I wish they'd had more slaw on them. The Theves sweet tea was soooo good, I wish they sold it in gallon size!“

“We celebrate my brother’s birthday last Wednesday. Waiting time is not that long, our server EJ is very approachable and accommodating, customer service is really good . Great food , service crew are attentive and willing to help. Great job guys✌️🤗“

“Came here with a group of 4 on a Friday around 530. We were seated and attended to right away. The service was nice and the food was really good. We actually found that going alacart was cheaper then getting a combo on the menu. My mom shared a 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of green muscles, we added corn and sausage and like 2 ordered of garlic bread, plus we each had a margarita and our total was like 60 dollars as opposed to one combo with no drinks, and no garlic bread is like 60 dollars. Anyhow the flavors were so good we tried the butter garlic on the shrimp and the stinken sauce flavor on the muscles and everything was delicious! I recommend this place because it's also really close to (driving close that is) the long Beach exchange/ hanger for some walking around after you are nice and stuffed.“

“Very good food and perfect portions for the price. The quality is high, and the flavors are consistent. It's like Crab Boil Asian fusion in a way. They have both on the menu. And out of left field, the garlic bread was very tasty. I come here often and like it a lot-might be the best hidden secret in the area. If you do not like spice, order the no spice option and it is very mild. The mild is already more spicy than some people would like. Their veggies are always fresh and cooked well. Meats are higher quality. You wont be disappointed with your order from here.“

“Food is delicious. Not your average kickin crab flavor but it's own special flavor, sauce is a thicker consistency that i like better. I like this place because the service is fast and the food is actually good and I don't stink of garlic for like 3 days.“

“Food was pretty good... Over all cleanliness is bad, was there for pickup and in the 10 min of waiting, nobody cleaned off dirty tables... No clients thigh, who knows how long these tables sat like that... You know eating at places like this, you make a mess... Sidewalk right outside the doors is crazy filthy... How does manager not see this!??“

“The only thing wrong was we had to wait approximately 45 minutes do to the "only cook " was on break. First time I ever faced this in a restaurant. Myself was meeting a friend there but I'm sure had their been many other patrons they may of walked out. Food was good, waiter was good and seemed to have a friendly atmosphere being that it was my first time dining there.“
