“My husband and I googled a boiling crab originally and this place popped up. We were hesitant but the food looked good and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We called to see if there was any wait time. Since there wasn’t we went. From the moment we stepped in the service was AMAZING and food was DELICIOUS! The gumbo, clam, shrimp, crab, and corn! Absolutely everything was great! So much better than boiling crab! This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I will definitely be coming back.“

“5 Stars all around. The service and food were stellar. This is hands down the BEST seafood boil restaurant I’ve hand in LA. We found this place from Instagram and I had it saved as a “Want to Go” but I have just moved it to my favorites. We ordered the 4LB boil and got shrimp, scallops, snow crabs, sausage, corn and broccoli. This place was flavorful without being overly salty. My only knock is that it took a while to find a parking space. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a seafood boil. You will not waste your money here.“

“How did this quirky gem evade my notice for five years?! I guess because they're only open Friday and Saturday. This may be the best restaurant in Pasadena. Inventive creole-inspired food. Everyone raved. Only thing I would change is to have it a little quieter. But our four-top could still converse well.“

“I love this place! The food is fresh and seasoned to perfection.

My mouth literally watered while I waited but no worries, the food comes out fast.

The staff are attentive and very nice. They even came around a few times while I ate to make sure everything was good.

I've tried the other location for take-out and it was good as well.

It's hard to find a good seafood boil in L.A. even though we're right by the water 🤔.

And I love that they have the option for the shrimp to be peeled, and head off. Many places don't offer that luxury.

They also offer bibs, crab-crack utensils and gloves.

I promise you won't regret coming to this amazing spot. Thank me later.“

“Not quite as tasty as Popeyes but the strips are consistent. With Popeyes it’s a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s a bunch of dry smaller pieces other times it’s good a lot of the big juicy stuff. I’d recommend LFC on Lake to family and friends and go again.“

“I finally got to try krispy krunchy chicken. My friends have said so many good things about this place. I see why they love this place. The chicken was definitely crunchy (the batter was good!) and delicious. The fries and biscuits were really good, too. Everything was hot and fresh out of the oven. My family loved it.

“I was looking for food for my kids during the worst fire season of LA County’s history. Our favorite spot is closed and my daughter mentions she saw someone on YouTube review this spot in another state. I don’t usually eat food served in a gas station but the chicken, beans and rice, wedges, and biscuits were amazing. I must agree with Sam J (quote from napkin in pic) and say that this chicken is totally worth it. We took it home and it was still very crunchy and tasty. 😋 definitely coming back.
