“Our first impression of this place was a good one. I yelped this place after our dinner down the street. One con to this place is parking sucks. We had to park across the street at the grocery store and walked across the street. You can order online or at the store on a screen. Very minimal interaction with a person. The only time you see someone is when they're putting together your order. We ordered the horchata cheesecake, chocolate chip bread pudding, and a apple tart. The cheesecake was really good but the crust needs to be thicker to help balance out the sweetness. The bread pudding is also a recommendation, if you take it to go the person recommended to microwave it for 45 seconds or in our case, we used our oven toaster for 4 mins. This place closes at midnight so a good place to go to for your sweet tooth especially late night munchies.“

“This place has a good thing going. A higher-tier boba joint (a la Orobae) where the flavor of the tea really comes through, not just milk and sugar! And the silky boba is just so fun and distinctive. I recommend getting the jasmine flavor unless you know you like wintermelon (which to me is great, but isn't for everyone.)
[June 2025] I decided to try their coffee today and am pleased to say that they also make a pretty nice einspanner (Viennese latte)! It is not quite as memorable as the one at e.g. Mandarin in Pasadena, but it certainly hit the spot. They have a nice recipe for the foam -- pleasant texture and sweet/salty balance. A good value too at $5.50.“

“EXTRA SPICY IS EXTRA SPICY. Please be careful. Also beware of boba pearls clumping together if you don't move it around enough. Great strong tea flavor, great+fast service, chicken is crispy. Clean bathrooms.
Update: Staff was extraordinarily kind to give me ice water when I was dying from spice.“

“I had seen the rave reviews on social media so I went into this place a bit of a skeptic. However, I’m happy to say that this place surpassed my expectations. The tea is so strong and fragrant. I had a Yuzu Osmanthus less sweet and it was best version of an Osmanthus drink I’ve had.“

“Sunright Tea is super easy to order from, and I love how customizable the drinks are. But the overall experience could be better. There’s no restroom for customers, no tables or chairs to sit and enjoy your drink, and they even got rid of the Mochi Matcha Frostie with red bean, which was one of my favorites. The drinks are good, but I wish they offered a more comfortable space for customers to enjoy them.“

“Occupying the ex-space of Yi-Fang, another boba place in Sawtelle! Yesss you heard me right, feeling like you won't have enough fingers anymore to count them especially if you include those now gone. Pretty nice to have more options amidst the already long list, so no complaint.
There's little line when we arrived, but we got the orders swift enough. Super helpful as they had self-order counter along with the regular one.
First drink for the day was Wintermelon Tea, which was always my to-go whenever available. It's nice that they could do sugar customization for this, as in most places I couldn't do it for tjis drink. I went for 70% and was impressed with its nice balance between the wintermelon flavor and the tea taste.
Our second was from the milk-based one, their Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea, which was also pretty nice with bold tea, though bit too sweet for 50% sugar IMHO; even kinda odd as it's sweeter vs first one despite being at 50%. We added aloe vera topping, which tasted decent enough and was generously given.
Fun fact, they provided option to go for mini cup with any regular one purchased, but only limited to flavor of the day. Pretty nice way to enable people trying new stuffs.“

Please please please get the beuongo bbang (붕어빵/taiyaki). As a korean american Ive been craving the pastry that my halmoni used to get me back in Korea and this is the most authentic and delicious one that beats the one in Korea! I was so startled by the taste that I urged my parents to try and they agreed that the batter is really well made. The drinks were great too but definitely on the sweeter side (try the zodiac drinks, thought it was a cute way to try introduce new drink combos).
Parking and store:
Parking lot is a decent size for it being in ktown. The store is small inside but the atmosphere is so cozy and cute.
Service:
Im pretty sure the man who was taking my owner was also the owner but he was super friendly. Would go out of his way to make sure customers can find the bathroom and would check in with each of his customers.“

“The best brown sugar drink I've tried so far. The drink is smooth and milky, and blends very well with the brown sugar drizzled around the cup. It's also not too overpowering, so it's not weak. The pearls are chewy and well-infused with delicious brown sugar.“

“I am so surprised by the customer service I received at Sharetea. I went in the evening of the 4th of July. The guys working there were cleaning and when I walked in, they immediately stopped to help me. I asked one of the guys about almost everything on the menu and he kindly answered all of my questions. After I finally selected what I wanted, he made it, and I thought that it was too sweet. He helped me out by giving me some more tea to dilute the sweetness and I immediately spilled it all over the counter. He very kindly cleaned it up and told me not to worry about it. I felt so bad, but he assured me that it was okay. Long story short, their customer service was excellent and they were so kind despite all of that. Also, once I got the right level of sweetness, it was delicious. I highly recommend them!“

“The QQ Happy Family is worth the hassle of parking and walking a long distance.
Parking: It took us almost 20 minutes to find parking, but it was a 2-minute walk from there. Definitely try to park in Parking B. Sharetea is next to the entrance/exit on the lower level of the Galleria extension over Central, along Broadway.
Wheelchair accessibility: Park in Parking B on lower level, if you can. Otherwise, you will need to go far and/or take an elevator. I have no idea where the elevator is.“

They put way more boba than most places, and it tastes so good!
The boba are fresh, not sticky, and have that perfect chewy texture.
You can definitely taste the freshly squeezed juice in the drink, and there’s a lot of it, too.
Overall, super tasty! Definitely a spot I’d come back to regularly if you love fruit teas and good boba.“

“Tried a lot of different drinks! I'm not a fan of banana flavor but the banana in the matcha and the honeycomb milk tastes quite subtle, and it's pretty fragrant. I also got the Vietnamese coffee frappe, which was more of a slushie because it was so foamy/liquid-y, rather than icy which I prefer. The liquid gold (oolong tea with cream) and lychee black tea had great tea flavor as well. Every drink was not overly sweet (some had sweetness adjustment to 20% or below). A good after-dinner treat if you're in the Sawtelle area!“

“Cassetta is such a fun spot if you’re looking for unique drinks and treats. Their menu has so many creative options; from refreshing drinks to desserts and even soft serve ice cream. I tried a couple of their drinks and they were not only delicious but also beautifully put together.
The staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It can get busy at times, but I went when it wasn’t too crowded and the vibe was really nice, bright, airy, and very chill. Plus, they’re pet-friendly, which is always a big plus.
If you’re in the area and craving something on the sweeter side, I definitely recommend stopping by!“
