“Amazing experience. The soup base was absolutely delicious. I love the tomato and miso soup. The black tripe was a blind buy but it was delicious! I would get the dancing noodles for sure. The Hokkaido milk tea was absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend. It’s just like high end milk tea. Mushroom variety was a good choice to try all the mushroom (I found the round mushroom was my favorite). Parking isn’t validated here“

“First time but I loved it. Food is great and fresh as it stays busy. Service is ok and ambience is nice. Although if you don't like noisy places. I don't think this place is for you. They have a time limit for dining which is understandable but they kinda rush you to eat.“

“The customer service makes this place amazing. They treat you great here. Definitely not the best shabu shabu that I've been to.. But it's pretty good. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get seated. And when you're seated they're pretty attentive. They have a great selection of meat. And they also have appetizers of sushi. They have a bar of sauces that you can choose from.“

“Shabu is great for groups, and really fun though may be a bit confusing for people who've never had Korean hot pot (or fondue chinois!). It's a little expensive if you want just a little fish in addition to a veggie hot pot, and the music is *party* loud.. great for fun but could be difficult for some with older ears. We didn't try the sake but there looked to be a great selection.. maybe next time !Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian hot pot option, and a small selection of veggie starters, as well as some great glass noodle salad and plenty of other noodles to cook, but the selection could be a little bigger (albeit there aren't too many proteinaceous veggie options in Korean food!).“

“Ordered thru delivery app. Tried the 1.5lb beef with tripe/assorted veggies hot pot with chicken gizzard and quail eggs skewers. Hot pot broth was clean and flavorful. Didn't come with any sauces. I decided to order from this place because they had bunmoja (noodle like rice cake mochi?). I've been wanting to get my hands on them to try since I love chewy texture. Had good amount of meat and would definitely order here again.“

“So happy that this place exists! My go-to Malatang and malaxiangguo place. I probably come here at least once in two weeks or so. I also always get the guobarou to share. Perfectly crispy with good portion size and ugh the sauce I sometimes just day dream about it lolThe ingredients are always well stocked and super fresh. I usually get the medium hot level for both dishes and they’re just the right amount of spice. The workers are also nice. The first time I visited I had a lot of questions and they were very attentive. Never had issues with their service during any visits. Highly recommend! It's not the thick, spicy flavor I used to eat in China. Is it a mild, Koreanized flavor? So it’s a taste that anyone can enjoy. I kept thinking about it and coming back for it again. Haha. If you put enough ingredients, add beef, and eat it all together, the price isn't cheap, but... I'll go eat it tomorrow too.“

“Everyone gets the peking duck here! The duck is roasted well - crunchy skins, barely any fat remaining under the skin. The meat, as Shirley H. wrote in her review, is mild in flavor, different from the Cantonese version or the smoked tea duck that I prefer. I like that they use the traditional thin crepes for the dish; it's served along with the shredded cucumber, beets, and green onions. In addition, the duck order comes with a choice of a dish made with the bone - either soup with duck bones, tofu, and Napa cabbage, or deep fry salt & pepper duck bones. We opted for the soup, which came at the end of the meal, and offered a satisfying wrap to the meal. Pro-tip: pre-order the duck a day ahead! We ordered two additional dishes and together, these were perfect for our party of four:- rainbow skin: a cold noodle salad dish- stir fry eggplant and string beans All in all, a solid Beijing restaurant, decent prices too!“

“Good social spot, food is okay-good depending on what you get, and interior is really something. Lots of KAWS and imagery otherwise. They definitely put a lot of thought into the interior design. Food can be good, but it depends on what you get. All the personal hotpots have "fillers" that are pretty obviously cheaper or purchased frozen - still good, but just a note. After coming here a couple times, I have a pretty solid idea of what I like to order: Popcorn chicken - this is literally amazing when it first comes out of the kitchen. As it cools down, for some reason I like it a lot less. Well seasoned and crispy, exactly what popcorn chicken should be. I always find myself craving this during the hours that Figs Corner is closed. Golden Broth beef hotpot - really nice, flavorful and bright soup. This is one of my favorites, though I don't personally like the crab stick or spam in the dish. I do like the quail egg though. Soup and hotpot ingredients are great with the rice bowl included with this. Sichuan Mala hotpot - if you've actually had Sichuan hotpot, this is a long shot from it. Sometimes I really like this, sometimes I don't. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe, but I really enjoyed the fish cake in this. Now, the soup is just ok. Cheese corn - my friend really likes this, I find it ok. Tastes like canned sweet corn with cheese on top, broiled. They also might add extra sugar to help the sweet corn taste sweeter. If you already like cheese corn, you'll probably also like this. They recently came out with drinks, which I'd be interested in trying considering there's already a pretty popular boba spot next door. I'll definitely be back if I want to have a conversation with someone over food, but I probably wouldn't return alone.“

“The food was good. It is nice to cook your own food here. The only drinks they had was soda and water. I was really satisfied with the food here. It would of been nice if there was more drink options. The service is good to. The atmosphere is nice. The only inconvenience is the parking. It was 1 or 2 hours from what i remember that i was in there with the family and they charged $20. But because our family ate here in this restaurant the employee here gave us a ticket to validate it and the charge dropped to $4 dollars for parking.“
