“Got the kimchi dumpling hotpot with vermicelli noodles, and it was really good. It comes with kimchi, pork dumplings, beef brisket, rice cakes, imitation crab, shrimp, dish cake, and cabbage. I think a few more things, but you can refer to the menu for the for the full list. We ordered through the QR code menu, and it came relatively fast. It looked like you can also order from a server with an iPad as well, but you would have to wave them down since QR code is the default. Overall, it was a pretty good experience with lots of food. The lunch menu also comes with a choice of green tea or black tea! Would definitely recommend for hotpot.“

“A friend mentioned eating at this shabu shabu place recently and we decided to try it since the sauces are said to be really good. I ordered a large size of the beef belly with house konbu broth. It was very satisfying and filling. The appetizers are made really fresh. The shrimp balls, karaage, and gyoza are top notch. The fried foods are really hot since they're that fresh so be careful not to burn your tongue. The sesame and ponzu sauces really make the shabu shabu stuff taste even more better. I normally don't use sauces but these ones are on a different level of deliciousness. The place is very clean and the service is one of the best I've seen. The ordering system is very convenient where you can just order from your phone and start your own tab. This is definitely one restaurant I'd recommend for dinner.“

“This place pretty much has it all from snacks, drinks, ramen, and rice plates. They offer French fries, popcorn chicken, Kung pao chicken, teas, Boba slushies with egg pudding, caramel and black sugar varieties, and aloe vera bits. I was very surprised at the variety they offered. They offer points for purchases. After about $40 of purchasing, they offered $6.50 of free food the next time I came.“

“First time trying this food in general, it was good. Servers always coming around. All in all a good experience.
Vegetarian options: They do have veggies and rice cakes but the I mainly saw meat
Parking: It is in a plaza with apartments as well so parking depending on the time may be hard to find, and they do have some that are 60 minutes
Wheelchair accessibility: It does have access for wheelchairs there are no second floors except for Burlington but I do recall seeing ramps“

“I visited because I heard it was near the hotel and it was delicious.
There was a staff member who could speak Korean (mixed with English), so I thought it would be helpful if you were visiting Korea, and they kindly explained things to you so you could have a comfortable meal.
The taste was like a miso soup-like base with a spicy sauce added, and the meat was very delicious.“

“This was our first time here and we greatly enjoyed our meal. The server let us know how to order - broth was through her and other foods through the app. It was all super easy. We ordered two meats, three veggies, and a noodle for the two of us and it was the perfect amount of food to be full without going too far over the edge. You can even take your leftover broth home if you want. We had a good time with the hot pot, making our own dipping sauces, and trying the complimentary snacks/desserts.She recommended half spicy and half not since it was our first time. We did bone broth half not spicy, half medium. Honestly the medium was a totally manageable level, never too spicy, and all of our dipping sauces were full of chilis and chili oil too. It just tasted delicious and we didn't give the non-spicy side much love. Next time we'll just do full medium spicy like we originally wanted anyway. Also there was a sunny dancing show for 5-10 min at some point.“

“Loved the hotpot here. Lots of variety and you can pick an choose to your hearts desire. The free side bar has plenty of sauces and dips to choose from. Good selection of deserts and fun foods. The restaurant itself is dressed in a vintage Chinese Cabana style decorand there are a few divided cabins you can sit in besides the main floor. Adds a little bit of ambiance to your dining experience. Service is very exceptional and fast. They are very attentive and alert to all your needs and requests. Very polite and professional. Hotpot can be very monotonous but the different dishes they offer here will surely satisfy anyone's craving whether it be meat, veggies, seafood or other exotic dishes they offer. First time here for me and definitely my new hotpot hotspot.
Vegetarian options: They don't have a vegetarian menu but they do have plenty of vegetables, tofu, mushroom varieties and quite a few others like sweet potatoes, konjac knots..you get the picture. A vegetarian won't go hungry here that's for sure.“

“Food is incredible, and fast. They have such a stunning array of choices for vegetables and mushrooms and meats. Price was reasonable for the amount of food you got.
I would recommend bringing a sweater, they keep it so cold in there. If you order sake you’ll warm up, and once you start eating you definitely warm up but it can be a bit uncomfortable if you’re wearing short sleeves or shorts, while you wait for the food or drink to make the temperature in there make sense.
Vegetarian options: Everything you could possibly imagine and more“

“This place is cheap and perfect for people who love hot pot toppings and dipping sauces. The broth was $14, and you get to choose two different types. The dipping sauce is $1.90 (self-service), and it’s 40 cents per stick for the toppings. They also offer colored trays with various options, including meat and veggies, at different prices.
To be honest, the meat isn’t the best quality, but personally, I’m more into dipping my toppings in the sauce. Their broth, though, was insanely good!
Here are my bills, if I didn't get so much tray that I won't finished it at all, the price would be so cheap!!!“

“Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. Their service was great, for sure we're going again this weekend ?“

“It's definitely not exactly cheap, but the food is pretty good. I usually go earlier during the night, it definitely gets busier later. I like the crispy pork.
Parking: The entrance / exit is quite tight, and the parking often runs out by the time it gets late.“

“Thursday12/7/23 Dinner at Quan De 7 Mon restaurant in El Monte with my cousin and friend Jimmy. “I will go back. Not so good: The hour and half wait for a table of four. Must sign in. Do not go when hungry. First come first serve, until a party of four. There were two or three party of two signed in after us was called. The best part of the place: worth all the wait. Our waiter spoke Cantonese, much a plus. Extremely Busy, but he still managed to be attentive and keep providing a decent service. I love restaurants with waitstaffs working together. ask any wait staff, and I did not get "I am not your waiter." Wait staffs answered all my questions. The food is fresh, clean, tasty, and so many verities too.“

“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.
**UPDATE**
Just a heads up. If you can’t eat mild this place won’t be for you. They can’t alter the broth. The only option is the tomato broth which is no spicy.“

“The first good sign was that I was the only white person there. If the local Vietnamese like the Vietnamese restaurant, it's probably authentic and delicious, and it is. “The quality of the old-style Malatang Chuanchuan is still the same, but the crowds are no longer what they used to be. You can get as much as you want without wasting or over-consumption, which is very in line with today's social status.“
“Definitely come here since im s vegetarian i love the vegetable bowl... beyond great and also the vege springs rolls“
“Wow, color me VERY impressed! At first I thought no way could the sliced meat be *that* good at the amazing price ($10 a pound as of June '22). Especially when Asian grocery stores sell sliced beef for no less than $12 - 15 per pound.
But wow was I wrong. The quality is INCREDIBLE. I mean look at that picture, have you ever seen meat look so picturesque? It almost looks like a movie prop.
I came home late and cooked up a couple of slices just to taste and was floored. So good. Sooo tender. And the fat melts and gives such a delicious flavor.
I'm so used to the cheap cuts from the grocery stores where the meat is tough and fat is chewy. I'm so glad we found this place -- I finally have a good, affordable place to get meat for my cooking. Hands down the best I've ever had. AND the best price too.
They sell a ton of stuff like organs and the rest if that's your thing. I may try one day, but I'll be stocking up on the sliced meat in the meantime.
(They take card / cash and was told they take EBT too)“

“11am-5pm Daily Lunch Special with rice and soup. Our favorite simple Canto LUNCH SPECIAL restaurant, and just takeout Chinese restaurant overall!! Its not the best, but quality is decent, and they have the variety I like.
Depending on what you order, it can be oily, especially the dishes we ordered this time. This visit, it felt like Chinese fast food but better quality. Maybe it was a different chef today? Many places offer too much meat, become a carbo load place, or it's just more mainland China taste and dishes. This place is typical OG Canto lunch specials. They give alot of meat and veggies.
Lunch special prices:
1. Pan fried String Beans with Minced pork $12.99
3. Eggplant and Minced Pork with Garlic Sauce $12.99. Forgot this dish here is too oily and soggy for us.
29. Beef with Bitter Melon in Black Bean Sauce $14.99. We've been trying to get into the bitter melon life for better health.
32. Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce $14.99.
57. Preserved Vegetable with Pork Intestine $15.99. Will order again because we love intestine. They give alot.
We ordered to a certain point where lobster was an additional deal for us...$30 lobster.
Lunch Special soup is always the typical light version. Rice is typical, nothing special, nothing bad.
This visit, we ordered pretty oily items. In previous visits we ordered different dishes. Lettuce and tofu, and shredded bamboo tofu fungus we're not for us last time. We're not into sweet and sour dishes, sweet, spare ribs but we have tried it here; it's not for us but good for those who usually like those dishes. I'll probably order the house special dish (lotus, sausage, fungus), seafood crispy chow mein, crispy intestine, walnut shrimp, jelly fish again.
I'm not a fan of the new popular fad of Canto breakfast specials around 626 SGV. My mom loves deals and loves lunch special...but I think her social circle has changed (with age too) to breakfast special.
We also order (full price) takeout too.“

“Visited Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle for the first time this weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is located in the plaza on the corner of Atlantic and Garvey, with plenty of parking.
The menu is simple and straight forward. You start by choosing the desired soup base (bone broth, tomato, hot & sour, spicy) and then the protein offered under your desired soup base. If you wish to order additional toppings; there is a list of add-on you can pick from. The restaurant gives you the option to order using the QR code taped on the table or with the staff member. Soon after placing the order, they bring out the toppings to the dish, which consists of your desired meat, lettuce, generous portion of rice noodles, tofu, ham, green onion, seaweed, wood ear mushroom, corn, egg, etc. Lastly the soup base is served and you add the add all the toppings to your soup.
I ordered the tomato soup with sliced brisket; love the strong tomato flavor in the broth. If you are a tomato lover, this is the soup base to order.
Will definitely be coming back to try the other soup bases.“

“The house noodle is the thing to order here. Food is solid. The lady owner speaks Mandarin with a hint of a dialect that I can't identify.
Parking is in the back of the restaurant. The entrance doesn't face the street anyway. When you enter, there's a bunch of big tables that seem to be outdoors, but there's a high covering. Inside there is more seating.
When I went up to pay with credit card at the register, I noticed all the board games on the shelves. They had quite a collection.
Come here for solid numbing spicy noodle soup!“
“Interesting experience. Might be our new hotpot place to go. The restaurant look great. Love the Japanese fast food concept. Not sure about the Japanese pop music, bit didn't bother us. Servers very nice and attentive but didn't have same taste (recomendations). We ordered the spicy tonkatsu and the another 3rd infantry division spicy soup, and the octopus balls. The food is great. Love the individual hotpot. Yet, I prefer more traditional hotpot without hotdogs, cheese, and spam. I will never order that 3rd infantry division soup, LoL. But definitely the tonkotsu one. I recomend this place.“

“Comrades who love spicy food must not miss this restaurant. Every now and then I get greedy and I will order one. The taste is very special. “Been going here since I was a little kid. Always love this place and it gives me a lot of nostalgia. The food is super consistent and the rice here is always cooked exactly the same which is good. Only thing that hasnt changed is service. A long time ago we had a server demand a larger tip and recently we came in with a large party and wanted to add 1 more table. When i told a server she got really frustrated and shocked we needed 1 more. It wasnt busy so its not like they needed it right away. We ended up making do and squeezing in because she didnt want to set up a new table. But foods always good so ill come back lol.“

“We tried the three flavor broth hot pot, where you can choose three flavors. I like the mushroom broth, my wife likes the spicy Mala pot, and our child likes the tomato pot. This way, all three of us can enjoy our preferred flavors in the same pot. The lamb slices were thick and substantial; one plate was enough for us to enjoy. The restaurant's ambiance was great, with a pleasant atmosphere. The only thing was that the music was a bit monotonous; I listened to Blackpink all evening.“
