The quality of the service and desserts is spot on. The only recommendation to improve the experience is the quality of the coffee . Either sell good coffee or don't include it in your shop.“

“We stayed nearby Sunnyboy boy during our visit to San Diego and decided to give the place a try one day. Wish we came sooner because the food is delicious! The biscuits and gravy were good but I’d definitely get the fried chicken and biscuits! It does get busy around lunch time but it’s worth the quick wait. “Was in San Diego for work, and heard people talk about Extraordinary Desserts. It was not too far from the hotel, so I headed over there. Wow. The most beautiful concoctions - cakes, pastries, pies, and so forth. Also, it seemed to be an after work hangout in downtown SD - lots of professionals sipping their drinks and enjoying a little sweetness. I got the sugar bun and the golden milk (non-caffeinated). They were both delicious - I ended up taking quite a bit back to the hotel because the portions were decent sized. I finished them the next morning lol. Check them out!“

“Server very nice. Ordered our coffee first. Came out in different times. Forgot one of our customers coffee and came out after our dishes came out. Toast Benedict had great flavor and wish it came with two like the original Benedict. The waffle and chicken with mole had good flavor. Next time I would go with that. Chilaquiles looked soggy. Did not try it though but was said to be good from my cousin. Hot americano was too sweet I asked for two pumps but not sure if the server remembered. The chairs though are not comfortable. I assume so you won't stay long. My cousin ordered the vanilla latte with almond milk and that was really good. Not too sweet at all.“

“This cute little mochi shop is family owned and is a little gem in heart of Chula Vista. The freshly made mochi is light and fluffy, melt-in- your-mouth tender and have a generous variety of delicate and delicious flavors! “Beautiful ambience. I had a light roast pour over. It was yummy but too small to satisfy my coffee need for the morning so had to get another! They have incredible looking pastries - none of which I could eat bc none are gluten free. But look heavenly“

“What a great French bakery in Little Italy! They have so many pastries and lunch options available here, as well as coffees and teas. I loved their Croifeuille (the flattened croissant with pastry cream between)! Inside is beautifully decorated. They only have a couple seats and it gets pretty busy so I recommend coming early if you can!“

I was tagging along with my boyfriend to his physical therapy appointment in case he needed my help, and upon seeing the cafe sign, I knew I was in for a treat...but after the appointment. I love me an iced mocha and I love trying new coffee places. The owner was super nice and super cool to chat with. Great personality. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our coffee drinks very much (he had a caramel macchiato), and we each had a yummy chocolate almond croissant. The place was neat and clean with a great vibe along with limited indoor counter seating looking out the window. “I have been following their Instagram page and finally stopped by for their holiday pet dinner that consisted of the following items: -Jelly turkey-cran berry cake or jelly pumpkin cake -Baked yam -Mashed potatoes with peanut butter gravy -Veggies -Bone-shaped cookies -Pumpkin empanada It smelled so good that I wanted to eat it for myself! My dog was so excited to take a bite of his dinner. He really enjoyed the jelly cake the most! I will be returning to buy a cake when it's my dog's birthday. Prices are reasonable. “I discovered Mya’s cookies at the Cardiff Farmers Market. I had the chocolate chip walnut, my sons each had a chocolate chip. WOW!! We arrived at opening and were warmly welcome to a table of our choosing. Starting the day in an atmosphere so calming and pleasant was want anyone should do. “We came for the first time in 2015, eclair was very delicious. My sister and I decided to have breakfast at Partfait yesterday. Egg benedict was a little salty but delicious. It was lighter and more delicious when made with a croissant. My favorite this time was Nutella Cruffin. If you like Nutella, you should definitely try it. They have diverse types of sweets (different prices per type), but you can pick your selection then they weight them all and define the price. Maybe my only recommendation is to have the customer understand how the price is defined. But the desserts are great. Inside a shopping center, so parking is available.“

“This was EXTRAORDINARY!!! I got the Gianduia cake and it was absolutely divine! I had high expectations about this place after hearing about it for months and it did not disappoint. The presentation for all the desserts was exquisite and the taste was even better. The gianduia cake is a layered cake with hazelnut cream, rum, toffee, etc. I was worried the rum would be overpowering but you actually can't taste the rum at all. The chocolate mousse was so rich and creamy. All the layers were delicious. It was expensive ($13) but my friend and I each ate half and it was just the right amount and the price is 100% worth it. If you're a chocolate lover you have to try this cake!“

“Just want to shout out the 3 girls that were working today for the Crumbl Turns 6 Birthday. I had to wait 30-40 minutes for my cookies since they kept getting sold out. These women crushed it the whole time I was waiting. Customer service was amazing. They kept a positive attitude through the whole time people were a bit bothered that cookies were getting sold out and couldn’t full fill some orders. Management should of known to double their staff for this event. Give these girls a raise or a paid day off please. The way they handled all their customers has to be recognized. Amazing work girls!! “I couldn't find Rosca bread anywhere right before the day of the Three Wise Men. I found this place in the evening just driving around looking for a bakery in the area. There was plenty of parking along the street when I arrived. Upon entering, the bakery had a wonderful fresh baked smell. Also, I noticed the establishment was clean and well maintained. It looked like it was a family operation. Customer services was great! They greeted me and quickly got me what I wanted: Rosca. I'll be back for more bread soon. Bu the way, the bread was crazy good. I recommend it.“

Parking can be hectic at times as there are many eateries in the same strip mall. Prices are very reasonable (especially for freshly baked breads) and customer service is good. Either walk-in or order in advance for pick up. We ordered: Cheese rolls - delish soft bread with cream cheese inside and butter with dusting of fine sugar on top. Cinnamon Ensaymada - I would compare to a miniature cinnamon roll. Not too intense with cinnamon flavor with a light airy slightly sweetened cream cheese frosting with a dust of cinnamon. DELISH! It's not too hard to find, but it is in a strip mall. I went early in the morning to get fresh pan dulce and I was not disappointed. “It's time to update a great bakery still. I'm specifically highlighting their Rosca. This wheel of sweet bread is a treat that goes so well with a cup of coffee, tea or champurado or hot chocolate. I especially enjoy keeping an eye out for piece of rosca which may have the baby Jesus hidden in it. The kings bread is a seasonal delight that comes in many sizes and with or without filling.“

“I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect loaf of sourdough bread in San Diego. While I’m not sure I have found exactly what I want, out of all the “name” bakeries I have tried Secret Sister makes the best loaf of bread out of the lot. I can’t speak for any of their food and/or drinks, but it’s clear to me they care about quality, and that makes a difference in my book. It’s a little challenging to find parking sometimes, but it’s totally worth it. If you go, just make sure you don’t take the last Country Loaf because I’m coming to take that one! ?“

The owner was formerly the aunt of the current owners and they've updated the scene. Donuts are still 10/10, they're fast, kind and friendly.
