“Best dumplings ive had out here, I'm from Vegas but I would put this at the top from other places that I've tried. I've seen them make everything hand made while we are there and the flavors of everything is on point. The broth in soup dumplings is very flavorful and nothing is greasy especially the chow mein I will always eat here when I come out to Oakley. The flavors the love put into the food feels authentic was a great experience and I would like to thank the restaurant for that 🙂 very good thank you again I'll remember it and talk about it for a long time 🤤😋 ate there at the restaurant and had it door dash both times were awesome 😎.“

“The wife and I were in the mood for sushi so we decided to pay Sun Kitchen Asian Bistro a visit. The restaurant was clean with nice decor. We were greeted immediately and seated. Our waitress suggested an appetizer, the Heart Attack. It was spicy and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. We ordered the Rainbow, the Fairview Roll, and the the Sun + Moon Roll. We both loved the Fairview Roll, but they were all delicious. The menu is large, with plenty of other things to order besides sushi if sushi is not your thing. Great food, great staff, overall a great experience.“

“This place has ruined any other Chinese restaurant for me after finding this hidden gem! I debated even writing this review by telling myself not to ruin the amazing speed with which we received our food, but the thought of losing my new go-to spot due to low foot traffic was too much to bare.

I had been wanting to find a local spot that offered this style of Chinese cuisine, especially with the hand-pulled noodles and options for fresh-made dumplings, so this was a perfect place to go.

The location is near perfect, as it's very close to me by downtown Brentwood, and in an unassuming area of the shopping center. The only downside is the parking lot, but that's not the restaurants fault. The decor inside is very welcoming.

When we arrived, we were greeted right away by everyone within the open kitchen, which gives you a great view of the preparations of the fresh-made dishes, and told to take any open seat. The restaurant has approx. 15-16 tables, but even when we arrived on a weekday around 5pm, only 2 of them were being used.

The menus are small QR codes on a plaque near the edge of each table, with each code containing your table number, and directs you to a website with your restaurant's current menu. The menu has a well-organized selection of food, complete with photos of every dish, and usually a description of the ingredients. There's symbols for spice levels and the prices are clear and easy to read.

We were worried about how to request ways to customize the dishes, as it didn't appear you could at first. For some dishes, you can select between beef, pork, shrimp, etc on the dumplings and bowls, but not many other choices before adding the dish to your digital order. However, once the items are added to your digital order, you can make a wide number of customizations, including spice levels, noodle types and thickness, food allergies, and removing certain ingredients that you just don't like.

My husband and I settled on 2 main courses and 2 sides, with the plan to share the apps and enjoy our own mains. After placing the order, the food arrived in less than 3 minutes (if that!) It look longer to review the menu than for both of us to receive our main courses. I had ordered the Pork Belly with thin flat noodles and my husband ordered the Beef Broccoli Rice Bowl for our main courses, along with the Pan-Fried Dumplings and Beef & Onion Meat Pie as starters.

Needless to say, the speed showed how fresh the food was, and while we planned on sharing dishes, we each devoured our own starters and mains. The quality was excellent, the service was top-tier, and the taste was beyond explanation!

“The food is really good and I was really surprised to find this in Brentwood, but I have to say the food is good. The people are very kind and the turnover is big, so that's saying to me that the food that you're getting is fresh. I like that.and Matter of fact, I went there yesterday and they were closed because I was going to get myself some corn soup. Two thumbs up for this restaurant!“

However the people at this location go above and beyond to make people feel genuinely welcome. “Food was good. But seating is very limited. Feels really cramped up against the walls and not sure if the AC wasn't working but it was also quite warm in there. Assuming we're a wall over from the kitchen? But overall I wouldn't mind eating from here again. Probably take out next time.“

“The food was great. The service was great too. We never went thirsty and our table was always clean. Kinda wish they had a special for the local graduates like some of the other restaurants did... kinda shows community involvement, but that's just a personal opinion.“
