“My only complaint was it was hard to speak to others at the table because the music was loud. The owner is a very sweet guy who comes to your table and gives new people samples of their drinks and popular Peruvian ice cream .He proudly explains the popular dishes and their Peruvian ingredients. The staff, owner and food made this restaurant so classy! The homemade food was not only delicious but special. The owner gets his ingredients from and that are grown in Peru. It was fun to eat food with ingredients that is new and tasted sooo good! It was such a treat. The Peruvian ice cream made from Locuma fruit is actually nutritious! The chicha morada drink also is different and beneficial.
I'm coming back for my son's birthday! You can't go wrong with this wonderful restaurant!!!“

“It's been many years since I had been here since I moved out of area. I visited yesterday for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised restrant had been remodeled looks crisp and clean. Service was great. They served us Bread rolls that are addicting with creamy butter . Food was just as tasty as I remember. I started with fried calamari it was very tender and beautiful crispy crunch. A must try for sure! We had Loma saltado and shrimp saltado flavors were pleasing to my taste buds. We also ordered Garlic shrimp plate . The shrimp was large and plenty . Flavorful . They all came with a side of yummy rice.we were to full for dessert but i'm hoping to pace myself next time so I can try one.I recommend this place.“

“A top restaurant in LA for me. Hummingbird has some of the most creative and delicious handrolls and crostatas I’ve ever tasted. Their food will make Peruvian folks excited to see something familiar and those unfamiliar very curious. Perfectly seasoned lomo saltado with tender beef, fries soaking up that savory sauce, and fluffy rice on the side. Bright, fresh ají verde that actually has depth, not just heat and would be good on just about anything. Finished it off with plantains and a creamy Peruvian dessert that hit exactly right.

“I'm Mexican and I love pupusas I tell new places I visit please make them awesome and you'll have a repeat customers, other places end up going downhill, I didn't say anything to this lady and boy oh boy these are top notch and the curtido is perfect“

“We had fantastic time at Lola's. Food was amazing and portions are vere generous. We were there on Friday night ans it was packed. Live music was a total hit so after delicious dinner even did some dancing. By far one of the best looking peruvian restaurants. If there was anything to be desired it was hot outside and couple of their ac units were not functioning so it was a bit hot inside but ambience and food and service made up for it. We will gladly come back.“

“Rikas Peruvian restaurant is like the 5th or 6th Peruvian restaurant I've been to in LA. It's interesting because it's located in Koreatown. But this little Peruvian restaurant packs a bunch. I enjoyed it a lot. It's like classic Peruvian comfort food. If you guys haven't tried their ceviche mixto, it is a must try. It's probably the best Peruvian ceviche I'd had in LA. Nice fresh raw fish, and the sourness to the juice was just about right. Their chaufa pollo, or chicken fried rice, was also another knockout. It's safe to say that this is the best fried rice I've had outside of any Asian restaurant. Haha. Their lomo saltado was also pretty solid. Great sauce, fries, and steak. In all, I would highly recommend Rikas if you are in town. It is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. You'll feel so great after eating the food here. “Never again. We arrived at the restaurant 20 min before closing and they refused to seat us. The host said they are only doing take out orders. Why have the door open if you’re not allowing customers to dine in. You guys should lock the doors if you don’t want customers to come in dining 30 min before closing“

the Owners are exceptionally excellent and i really LOVE going here and even if i can’t make it before they close they will wait for me . the food is Extremely delicious.“

“I went the other day to order some empandas to try (carne and pollo) but was really late....I decided to go back the next day to try them and boy am I addicted. I went again this morning on the way home from work and got fresh baked. Definitely recommend this place all the workers were helpful and very knowledgeable about what ingredients are in each selection. The green spicy sauce is what definitely makes this a must as well.“

“I’ve been eating at this place before 1987. I used to take my children here for dinner or lunch on Saturdays. My children are grown and are raising their families now. I am in my Senior years now and moved from that area. However, I still go over there to eat on Saturdays every now and then. One thing I can share with you, is the recipe has never changed. 😎😎“
