“We were looking for a south India restaurant near Milbrae as we didn’t want to drive south or east just for dosa. We found this restaurant in Burlingame which is not far from Milbrae/Airport. We were skeptical but start from the service, food everything was top notch. We ordered dosa and Andhra Chicken Curry, we asked for spicy and it was just awesome. Highly recommended if you are staying near the Airport area.“

“I moved to Burlingame in 2020 and found Fuumi as I was walking down Broadway. It quickly became a favorite with great quality sushi from a very friendly and efficient team.

Over the past 4 years I've probably had more than 50 meals from Fuumi and they've never put a foot wrong with my order and it's always been delicious.

Sadly I've now moved out of state so my Fuumi habit has ended... But to quote Douglas Adams, "so long and thanks for all the fish!"“

“Hannah is so amazing! She’s so attentive and checked in on us even before our drinks were on L (bottomless who?!) and on a Wednesday! She has amazing recommendations! But if you’re a beer bottler like me, make sure to have a cocktail list on the roster because they only have 3 beers on rotation 🫠 we also need to help the owner fill up the rest of the liquor shelf!

“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!“

In a business park but nice. No parking. Clean. Long wait to order at 8 am, 15 minutes then wait for food. tho it didn’t seem that crowded. Staff seemed busy and focused on tasks, not especially friendly. Flat affect from all of them. Not sure why. But still tasted good!“

“I’m Thai and my family was in the restaurant business so I know Thai food. Our group of over 10 people dined here today. Food was great. It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. Fresh , the bread was a little hard but the flavor made up for it!!

Overall, the place was chill and cute. Perfect spot for a brunch. The food is a win. Totally recommend it to anyone who loves healthy drinks and yum food.“

“This place is by far one of the best breakfast/ brunch spots in the area. I made a visit here with my previous girlfriend, since we were craving for some good brunch and we were in the area. Upon arrival, their was a bit of a wait, but I did not mind since I am a very patient person. When we were called, the staffs gave us an option to dine inside or at one of their outdoor tables. We chose outdoor since it was a warm and beautiful day. Their menu consists of breakfast platters, sandwiches, shareable items, special dishes, drinks and much more. It was our first meal of the day, so we ordered basically whatever sounded good. Everything was made to order which is always a plus because freshness matters. When our food arrived, it was more than we expected and it was enough for a second meal. The staffs were welcoming, well trained and understanding which made our visit a satisfying one. I recommend this place to all breakfast lovers, if you are looking for a quick bite in the morning or if you just want to try something new. I had the exotic cocktail (which was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while), The calamari which they also put fried artichoke in it *chefs kiss* and those sauces!!! My goodness the SAUCES separate or together my taste buds were very happy. Last but never least the lobster bisque…. I about picked up the bowl and licked it clean…. “I've been coming here for about 2 years now. It has definetly some of the best tacos in the bay area. The price is also very reasonable. I always get tacos de Al Pastor but the chicharon tacos are really good as well. The service can be a hit or miss and wait times can be long, since they are usually busy. The food, however, is always delicious and consisten. I live in SF but drive down to burlingame just for the tacos every other week. I wish they were open late, but they close at 5p everyday. I would avoid going during lunch time, since that's when they are the most busy.“

“One of the best dim sum place on the peninsula. And also has a great view of the plane take off and landing.
Their lunch dimsum is very crowded so either go there early before 11:00 or after 1:00 p.m.

Since they remove the outdoor dining, they now direct overflow to the next door hotpot place, which also serve dim sums during lunch hour.

They also have good dinner banquet menu that are reasonably priced, especially there holiday dinner banquet menu.
But I always prefer banquet menus that are Tailor to our favorite dishes. Yes it will be more expensive than their set menu but at least all the dishes we will enjoy.“
