“Given how good the Twelvemonth restaurant is, it’s no surprise that their Bakehouse is also incredible. Sometimes my biggest dilemma is deciding between full brunch at the restaurant or just a coffee and pastry at the Bakehouse. Their scones are highly recommendable as well as the twice baked croissants. They also sell entire loaves of bread-pricy but worth it! Pro tip: you can ask for the items For Here (they’re to-go by default). There are 2 small tables in the Bakehouse but if they’re full you may also sit and enjoy Twelvemonth’s patio while you enjoy your pastries and coffee“

“My favorite tea spot in the area by far. Since discovering it a year ago I have not tried anything else. Their jasmine tea is my go to. Mango jasmine or jasmine milk tea. Strawberry matcha is also pretty good. I do 50% sweet on the mango one and 75% on the other two. Their boba is always so good. Only thing I wish is that there was someone to talk to when ordering so you could bring reusable cups.“

“Twelvemonth has a vast and dense menu that is filled with an array of worldwide cuisines! I opted to have the dumplings, chilaquiles, and a beet salad and all were amazing. The ingredients and products they use in their food are very high quality. The ambiance of the restaurant is also amazing. They have a nursery room, the interior looks like an elegant restaurant from the 1950s, and their is plenty of greenery in the restaurant space.“

“We were looking for a south India restaurant near Milbrae as we didn’t want to drive south or east just for dosa. We found this restaurant in Burlingame which is not far from Milbrae/Airport. We were skeptical but start from the service, food everything was top notch. We ordered dosa and Andhra Chicken Curry, we asked for spicy and it was just awesome. Highly recommended if you are staying near the Airport area.“

Unfortunately the lady who served me yesterday was somewhat standoff-ish and even though there was nobody behind me she made me feel like I need to decide quickly. That wasn’t cool. Apart from that, the coffee was tasty and with the addition of their house made pistachio butter. I thought that was unique and tasted superb.“

“Finally ate here for the first time a couple of days ago. Pancakes are on the thinner side, which actually gives it some crisp, and it's tasty. Ben's Special was good also, especially with their homemade hot sauce. Extra bonus points for the amazing bobblehead collection display.

Overall, this side of the peninsula has some really good diner spots.“

“I moved to Burlingame in 2020 and found Fuumi as I was walking down Broadway. It quickly became a favorite with great quality sushi from a very friendly and efficient team.

Over the past 4 years I've probably had more than 50 meals from Fuumi and they've never put a foot wrong with my order and it's always been delicious.

Sadly I've now moved out of state so my Fuumi habit has ended... But to quote Douglas Adams, "so long and thanks for all the fish!"“

“Great drinks, great venue, super friendly staff.

I was looking for an after party spot after my friend's wedding in Burlingame and this was the perfect spot on the way back to their hotel. When I called, they were super welcoming and told us that they would be able to accommodate us. If the party was too big, they said they could host us in their back patio area. I loved how flexible they were.

The cocktail menu was very creative and the drinks were delicious. They also had wine and beer to accommodate all preferences. They also served empanadas all night long, so that was a really great option for anyone who had the munchies.

I got a round of shots and they were super nice to create a custom one for us. They even gave the bride and groom a complimentary drink to toast. It was such a wonderful and celebratory atmosphere. Thank you for making it memorable for us.“

“We came here after visiting Washington Park with 6 people on a Sunday afternoon. It was hot and we wanted something small and quick to eat and drink while the niners game was on. We originally wanted to sit at the bar but since we had a larger group we opted to sit at a table. We got a round of shots and a Prickly Pear Margarita that was really good. We got the signature French fries flight (truffle, rosemary garlic, bbq) served with herb ranch, chipotle mayo, and ketchup. We also got the Chicken Wing flight (Buffalo, salt n pepper, honey habanero) that came with 9 total wings. And we got a chicken fettuccine Alfredo. It was a good little snack for all of us, service was great. There was air conditioning, but there was a quick black out during the game but it came on pretty quickly! There’s street parking and some lots nearby.“

In a business park but nice. No parking. Clean. Long wait to order at 8 am, 15 minutes then wait for food. tho it didn’t seem that crowded. Staff seemed busy and focused on tasks, not especially friendly. Flat affect from all of them. Not sure why. But still tasted good!“

“It was fun going during the soft opening of Palmetto Superfoods in Burlingame (there are other locations in the Metreon, on Union Street, and on Clement Street in San Francisco, with another planned for Santana Row). I learned a lot by speaking with the super friendly and deservedly-proud owner. This location in Burlingame is a really cool little spot diagonally across from Safeway and has a sweet public rooftop sitting area. And I love that everything is plant-based except the honey and bee pollen, but they have a vegan apple honey — which is absolutely delicious — as a superior substitute. Anyway, with a choice of bowls (and smoothies), one could choose a set one on the menu or customize everything with unlimited bases and toppings — as long as it fits in whatever size bowl you choose (yup, I totally went large). I opted for the Bay Blend, but swapped out the strawberries (not really my thing) for toasted coconut flakes (most definitely my thing). The bowl was quickly layered by the friendly employee, who looked like she was excited for her next opportunity to surf, at least in my imagination. From the açaí, pitaya/dragonfruit, and chia pudding on the bottom to the banana and almond butter in the middle to the granola, blueberries, and toasted coconut, etc. on top, it was scrumptious and satisfying. Wanting to try a little more deliciousness, I decided to take a Midnight Beach smoothie to go. Now that I’m gone, I know I’ll be back!“

I had the exotic cocktail (which was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while), The calamari which they also put fried artichoke in it *chefs kiss* and those sauces!!! “I've been coming here for about 2 years now. It has definetly some of the best tacos in the bay area. The price is also very reasonable. I always get tacos de Al Pastor but the chicharon tacos are really good as well. The service can be a hit or miss and wait times can be long, since they are usually busy. The food, however, is always delicious and consisten. I live in SF but drive down to burlingame just for the tacos every other week. I wish they were open late, but they close at 5p everyday. I would avoid going during lunch time, since that's when they are the most busy.“
