“My wife and I ate here for dinner and had a fantastic experience. We had a couple different glasses of wine and our waiter was amazing at walking us through different samples of wine before we landed on ones we liked. The choices were great.

We were on our honeymoon and the waiter brought out complimentary glasses of rose sparkling wine which was delicious. We started with the beef tartar, the crudo, and sourdough rolls— each was delicious and a great start. Our main dishes were the pumpkin risotto and short rib, both delicious as well. The short rib was so tender it melted in my mouth. We ended with a toffee cake that was delicious and hit the spot.

The staff was incredible the entire time. Our waiter (I think Laura?) was amazing and even gave us a few recommendations on places to try during our visit, which we did!“

“Thoroughly enjoyed the ending to a marvelous day with Platypus Tours. This was our final stop. Loved it! Travis hosted us in the “speakeasy” (barrel room) and we thoroughly enjoyed his presentation. He welcomed us in, put us at ease and gave us a clearer understanding of Bennett Lane Winery and their selection. Highly recommend if you are on the northern end of the Napa Valley.“

“Picayune has been our most favorite spot to bring family and both old and new friends for over 12 years. The experience they are able to add to our visits are always filled with expertise, great wines and merchandise along with truly amazing customer service. The addition of Chef Ben who brings wonderful food and Picayune wine pairings together in a beautiful presentation is the latest must do for a sumptuous lunch experience. “We stopped by Chateau Montelena just to take photos since we didn’t have a tasting reservation. The property is absolutely beautiful — the castle-like building and the peaceful lake surrounded by trees make it feel like stepping into a fairytale. Even without tasting, it was worth the visit for the scenery alone. We’ll definitely come back next time with a reservation to experience their wine tasting!“

“We just completed our most recent visit to Laura Michael Wines in late October 2024 and, as always, it was a fantastic experience. We were served by Laura and enjoyed tasting and learning about several of the estate's wines. We keep coming back to Laura Michael Wines because the variety and quality of the wines is great and both Laura and Michael are a great source of knowledge about wine which if, like us, you are looking to understand the details and nuances of wine, is important. Among their collection, they have a great Zinfandel, a several great Cabs and a blend called "A Quiet Moment" that is perfect for just sipping on an autumn day. We highly recommend

“We recently did the Cave Tour with Sparkling and Red Wine Tasting. First off, the location is beautiful. Secondly, the tour with Tony was engaging, informational, and a great overall experience. The caves are fascinating to learn about and see how they age their sparkling wine. The tasting was exceptional and a treat to get to experience some of the finer offerings. This is also one of the more unique experiences in the area because of the sparkling wine. Book it - you won't regret!“

“We had a great family dinner for our Taco Tuesday replacement whilst on vacation, really good comfort food - the chicken quesadilla was something else! We were early so it was quiet, and enjoyed great friendly and quick service.“

“We had a wonderful dinner there. Great menu, good wine selection, wonderful service. We shared arancini balls for an appetizer, a fantastic Napa salad with candied walnuts, apples and blue cheese, and then a Thai chicken pizza. We would get each one of these items a second time! It is our understanding they reopened with a new menu in March 2025. We were here in June and the menu is great. Definitely would recommend Palisades Eatery.“

“My wife and I visited Newton Napa Valley February 18, 2023. It was a private tasting hosted by a very knowledgeable, respectful and kind young man named Edgar Macias. Our entire experience, from greeting to our wine tasting with a splendid charcuterie, to our departure, was magnificent. My wife enjoyed the 2016 Mt. Veeder Cab and my favorite was the 2016 Spring Mountain Cab. We have been to Napa before but this experience at Newton was the best by far, for both of us. We learned so much from Edgar about the grape growing process, the vineyards and the climate for this batch of wine year 2016. I wanted to thank Mr. Macias for help making this tasting a memorable one. His hospitality is superior and we wish him the best! Newton makes a superb Chardonnay as well. If you are reading this review, I strongly recommend this vineyard/winery.“

“Went on a Monday afternoon to meet a friend while visiting the area. The outdoor seating is gorgeous with plenty of space, and we basically had the entire area to ourselves. The server for the wine tasting experience was great! He was very informative about all the different wines we had the pleasure of trying, and even gave us a bonus taste of a more aged wine. The price was average for a wine tasting experience, so overall it was a great time. Would definitely go again given the chance!“

“We had just finished a mud bath and massage treatment near by and were starving! Most of the weekend was american food and we were having Asian food withdraw!

This place hit the spot. We ordered the calamari, the crying tiger, and the drunken noodles beef. Every single dish was delicious. But the crying tiger was one of the most flavorful ones I had ever had. The calamari was super fresh as well. The service was very attentive. I was not expecting authentic Thai in a small town.“

The team were all lovely, very friendly and welcoming and helpful. But I would add that they gave us the right amount of space to spend time chatting about the wines on our own. “Delicious Chinese food! I had the crispy ginger chicken. I loved that it was not super breaded but you can actually taste the chicken. We ordered pork potstickers, fried rice and Szechuan pork and it was all fabulous. Service was prompt and servers were very kind. Great place!“

“What a great place to stay! The room was so cute and the shared bathroom is not a problem. We also ate at the restaurant. I had the ribeye cut it with a butter knife try it with the wine sauce a must. My son had sausage ricattoni he said was great also. The adult beverages were very good I had the Banana Na Na my son had the beer. I would recommend this place again and again.“
