“The food truck has been there for a while and thought of trying this time. The menu is vast variety of things from chaat to full meals. We ordered Paani Puri and Chole bhature. Both of them were extremely good.Have to say I prefer the style they have for Paani Puri and have not gotten swayed by the trend of different type of waters.Chole bhature were amazing as well. The chole were well done and bhature weren’t too oily and didn’t taste like puri.Highly recommend both these. Will try other items as well in future visits“
“I don't get time to myself at all, so when I did last night, I wanted to try this place because I have had it bookmarked for some time and I was craving Nashville hot chicken. I thought this was on Kooser and Blossom, but it's on Kooser and Camden, so just FYI. Located in a small parking lot (liquor store and a nail salon, I believe). I had to park illegally otherwise I wouldn't know where to park. They have a kiosk. You just place your order, pay, and wait for your number to be called. If you include your phone number, you will get a text when your meal is ready, too. I ordered their #1 (sliders w/ fries). I used to test myself by ordering the spiciest, but since I am older I am aware I need to play it safe, so I would not hurt myself. I ordered the medium spicy (def not spicy), so I would order HOT next time. The chicken was tender, not dry.. I loved the crinkle cut fries. Barely any coleslaw, but the thick slices of pickles gave it that crunchy tartiness texture to the dry rub! The JoJo sauce was delicious and creamy. For the first time I did not check emails. I did exactly what I wanted to do; decluttered my home, setup my Buddhist alter, and finished 2 Netflix series (The Watcher and Devil in Ohio). I am going to try and finish Midnight Mass before returning to work Tuesday. I also plan to take Friday off to hangout w/ Gavin. The work will be there, Gavin will turn 13 next year; I will never be able to get the time back. But the point I was trying to make is.. go out and try a new spot! Go and knock off a bookmark! Explore! What a perfect way to end 2023 w/ this review. Not new year, new me but I need to center my energy on me for once. I am not going to put myself on the back burner anymore. Come here to get your Nashville hot chicken!!! Happy New Year, fellow Yelpettes!!! SYOY!So grateful for everything.“
“Great food, AMAZING owner!Definitely the truck I'm hitting up from now on! My friends and I had the tacos and quesabirria, all so delicious, the meats had great flavor, all the salsas were so fresh (esp the avocado one! Omg). Absolutely adore the owner, she's so kind and so fun! You won't regret hitting up this truck!“
“Truly amazing food ! I tried their chicken fried rice, chicken 65 and rose lassi. It serves atleast 2 people. The quantity is huge. Food is super fresh. Flavors are bang on.I’m not spice tolerant so I’d asked for the medium , I will definitely go for the mild next time.Love the food !“
“We booked a cooking class through Classpop and had such a great time learning to cook! The place had a parking lot so parking wasn’t a problem. We loved that after the cooking class, we were giving enough time to enjoy our food and even had leftovers to bring home. 10/10 recommend! Thanks for making my partner’s birthday so memorable!“
“We contacted Holy Cannoli for catering of a school luncheon event. Jamie, the owner, was great to work with from start to finish. She was able to set up a menu that served all range of guests including vegan and gluten-free. The food was amazingly delicious! We had so many people stop by to ask who had catered the event because they wanted seconds! She was quick to respond to any questions we had and very helpful on the day of the event.I will definitely reach out to Jamie and Holy Cannoli for any future catering event and look forward to stopping by the restaurant to have lunch.“
“Margarita Taqueria is a taco truck located in a parking lot. There are tables around a liquor store that you can eat at. One of the best tacos I ever! Meat was well seasoned and the portion size of the meat was good. I got the chipotle and green sauce and it was amazing. The complementary pickled red onions was a nice palate cleanser. I highly recommend getting the birria soup. It came with large chunks of tender meat, tortilla, white onions, cilantro, and chili. There was so much flavor in the soup. My friends got the super burrito and it was huge!!! It was the size of their forearms. Definitely worth the price.“
“We had Joe and his taco bar for a baby shower lunch for ~40 people. Joe scored highly in every area: clear communication, fair prices, prompt arrival, appealing display of food, clean and tidy, very friendly and sociable (paying special attention to the guest of honor), and yummmmmmy tacos and agua fresca!!“
“Where to begin with La Familia? Truly one of my favorite food trucks... everything deserves 5 stars. My go to is usually the carnitas torta but the birria is also very hard to beat! Be sure to wash it down with the tamarind agua fresca Not only that but the service is perfect. They are so sweet and friendly! side note: they also do catering so i recommend checking them out if you're in need of a caterer“
“My son and I were Eating beef and steak tacos and the tacos were great but could have a bit more spice, the service wasn't bad either we got our food in a minute or two and the tacos were different than any other tacos we have tasted and the salsas were great btw we will come back soon.Great foodTacos differ ncwSalsas was goodWe will come back“
“Amazing food! Ordered pani puri and Afghani soya chaap. The pani puri has three waters and the spicy water was the best. Careful, if your spice tolerance is low, coz this was Indian spicy. The Afghani chaap was yummy and exactly how we get in India. Super yummy food, keep it up!Vegetarian options: Soya chaap is really yummy and a great vegetarian option!“
“I gotta say for a food truck these guys are pretty top notch. I went with 2 steak tacos, 2 chorizo tacos, and a chorizo cheese taco. I washed it down with a Mexican Coca Cola and it was simply amazing.Parking: They're located in a private parking lot. I suppose you could park there. They also have a few picnic tables with a tent under them if you want to sit down and eat.“
“For a taco truck, Paper Platez is a fine choice! Tacos, burritos, and quesadillas are all good. I haven't yet tried their tamales or pupusas. They have some picnic benches under a tent canopy. (Does that count as "dine in?") Or take it to go and walk to the nearby Heritage Park which has picnic benches.Right in front of O'Malleys there are a couple handicapped parking spaces. It's a tight spot to turn around given the tent. So if you don't have a handicapped placard, enter the driveway just north of the taco truck for parking.Parking: Pull in to the driveway just north of the taco truck. There is also about 3 parking spaces on the south side, right in front of O'Malleys. Note that most or all of those are handicap spaces, and the room to get in and out is cramped.Wheelchair accessibility: The menu is on a screen that's positioned low enough for wheelchair riders. The counter is higher up but they handle that well.“
“The food served here needs the sense of taste. They made a burrito bowl for us, I am not sure whether it was on the menu. It was vibrant, tangy, and so satisfying. The chicken tacos had an earthy flavor. I would definitely be a repeat customer!“
“Being from Hawaii, we aren't known for our Mexican food so when we come to California (any part of California), we are usually on the hunt for some. We found this amazing food truck in a gas station parking lot and it had the most amazing tacos we've ever had! We ordered 3 tacos, each with a different meat. The staff was friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. The tortillas were fresh and soft, the fillings were yummy, and the salsas were absolutely delicious! I'm so glad we came across them and hope to be able to sample more from them one day!!! We highly recommend that everyone try them out!“
“Once you find parking , you will enjoy the best birria pizza ever ! This is my new spot when I wanna feed a party or maybe just a night in with girl and stuffing our faces (:Great place great vibe ! Cashier loved football and showed her spirit on the upcoming playoffs / Super Bowl ! Thank you for making my experience more personal and welcoming (:“
“I tried almost every taco truck in San Jose today I decided to tried this family business I didn't had enough money but thank God the person took my order was very generous and the cook women was very warm welcome person I order 3 tacos de carnitas and 3 de pollo and a side order of beans and rice the food was warm delicious I told the cook women I will be back for the tacos de chicharones God bless you all ???“
“I went to Asian Momo House while I was insanely hungry, and it did not disappoint. I got the chicken jhol momos, and man it was good it was really fresh. The chicken was tender and seasoned and hot. I also got the chicken sausage which was also good. However it was just a Hot Dog and I expected something more. I also got a mint lemonade as a drink. While there was barely any min in the lemonade they made up with this seasoning called Chaat masala which is really refreshing and tasty. Overall would not come again, but I do recommend to others.“
“Though BBQ items were served a bit cold, they were quite good. The well-cooked Tri-Tip was so tender as if they'd melt in my mouth. They know how to do BBQ but the food needs to be served warmer. I also liked the corn bread. Small eatery. Simple setting. Self-service. Cheap utensils. For the price they charge and the sake of cutting meats, they should have invested better cutleries. They also run food truck around the area.“
“By far the best tasting bbq in the Bay Area. Not only is the food great but the staff are ridiculously friendly. Gregory is the nicest guy. When we showed up towards the end of the day he went out of our way to accommodate our order even though they had run out of some of the popular meats and sides.“
“Amazing food. You cannot miss this if you love Mexican food. Authentic flavor, real salsa, fresh cilantro and onions. and the team is super nice. Makes me feel like I am back in Mexico at my favorite taqueria. I come here once a week for lunch and it always hits the spot. I love the californiana style quesadillas - such a bang for the buck. The Califas taco is like a mini “sincronizada” and it is such a tasty take on how to serve up a taco. CANNOT MISS: the barbacoa. Only place I have found in the Bay that serves up homestyle barbacoa like this - not fatty and full of flavor. Lots of parking here at the gas station where the food truck is, and good prices for the size of the tacos.Vegetarian options: Veggie tacosParking: Super easy to find a spot here to park“
“The best horchata I've tried so far. Really decent pricing because we ordered 10 tacos and 2 horchatas for just under $30. Usually has a line but it moves really fast and they get your order done really quick too. The orange sauce is good but pretty spicy.“
“Where do I start???? I got some tamales and a super carnitas burrito. The two ladies inside were also super nice and was able to get my food at a quick time to go back to work. Now down to the bottom line, the food was incredible. Sauces were Devine. There's a lot of food trucks that stop by and come and go but this one is superb! Highly recommend on any given day! Mucho gracias“
“Do not order online. You will not receive an itemized receipt, or an email confirmation, and you will be charged $2 for the "convenience" of ordering online, which is actually more convenient for the vendor.I ordered four tacos and did not get even a few chips with it, and had to practically beg for enough salsa for the tacos. And the tip jar was pushed into my face before I even saw the food. Incredibly rude.“
“Phenomenal tacos!!!! So much flavor and fresh ingredients. Great serving sizes, great price! Ordered a Carne Quesadilla and 2 chicken tacos! Not sure what the drink was, but it’s pineapple flavored and delicious as well!! Highly recommend!!“
“If you're looking for a good quick easy taco spot that tastes really good definitely come check it out. I highly recommend the super burrito everything inside. I also would tell you to try the quesadilla. Very very good. No questions asked. The staff is extremely nice and easy. The food comes in 5 to 7 minutes Max. If you're in the area come and try it it out you won't be disappointed. The location is in a chevron gas station“
“Decided to try this food (ice cream) truck out. It turns out the menu has a lot more available than ice cream. Service was good. Saw that they wear hairnets which is always a plus. The person that helped us didn't speak English much, but we were able to point out our orders. We ordered vanilla and chocolate ice cream with sprinkles, elote corn, and hot Cheetos with cheese. So good, but not so good for you.“
“Great tasting tacos, enchiladas, burritos - and excellent value. Pastor, carne asada, camarones, tripas-yes, yes, yes, yes! Good, fast, friendly service. Parking can be tricky at Chevron, so park at McD's. They're only open until 5pm, so get your taco fix early.“
“I ordered some tripe volcanoes, with the golden tripe. I loved that they gave me golden belly, you know that sometimes you ask for it golden and they don't give it to you.The asada tacos weren't that good, ehh.But what I also liked here is that the tortilla tacos are made by hand ?.When we arrived we were able to find parking, but I imagine that when it is busy it must be a little more difficult because it is a fairly small place.——————I ordered some volcanoes of tripa extra grilled. I loved that the tripa was actually extra grilled, you know that sometimes you ask for it extra grilled and they don't give it to you. :(The asada tacos weren't so good, they are ehh.But what I also liked here is that the tortilla for the tacos are handmade ?.When we arrived we were able to find parking, but I imagine that when it is busy it must be a little more difficult because it is a kinda-little place.Would I go back? Yeah probably“
“The food was very delicious, the tlauyudas and the tamales were my first dishes that I tried ? ?, I'm definitely going to return because they told me that people request mole a lot too. Ms. Verónica and her family are very friendly, they make you feel like family. I also liked that all the decoration is typical of Oaxaca.“
“I literally just went there and got a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was fire! We all know rice and beans make up most of the burritos but not this one it was about 3/4 meat and 1/3 eggs and rice and cheese just like I like it. Burrito and bottled coke came to $13 bux .. pretty average nowadays.“
“The food is absolutely delicious, the owners are nice, and the music is rad. The Quesabirria comes with 3 large tacos with beef birria and cheese with a side of consume, radishes, onions, lebu, green and red salsa. The tacos tasted AWESOME! Wasn’t a fan of the onion. Consume was flavorful. Green and red salsa had a tie, equally tasty.“
“(Translated by Google) Today was my first time and they are luxurious I recommend them hey what are you waiting for visit them you will not regret it I promise because from now on I will always go there thank you all very much and the cashier is very kind so it makes you want to come back(Original)Hoy fue mi primera ves y están de lujo selos recomiendo ey que esperas vicitalos no te arrepentirás lo prometo porque de ahora en adelante yo iré ahí siempre muchas gracias a todos y la cajera es muy amable asi dan ganas de regresar“
“I usually order spicy pav bhaji here. Its tastes really good and the chai here is a must try. There’s a transaction fee (1$ i think?) added if you swipe the card for <10$. Better to carry cash if you’re going just for the chai, which i usually do :)“
“We went to Scratch Cookery late on a Friday, and it was pretty packed. The line to order was a bit of a mess, but the food looked worth it.After getting a couple chicken sandwiches, I can confirm that the food was worth it. I went pretty conservative on the spice level (0 for one sandwich, and 1 for the other). I’d probably bump it up next time.A nice addition to the spicy sandwiches is the ability to use the packets of provided honey to make the sandwiches a sweet and savory combo. It was pretty nice.My one complaint is the fries. They were pretty bland and unremarkable.“
“Favorite tacos in the 408. Asada quesadilla is like no other. Great smokey flavor and big portions. My favorite tacos are lengua, tripa, chorizo, and the pastor. The service is timely and efficient. The salsa bar is well stocked and clean. If you're interested in dining in, there are chairs and tables available!“
“West side San Jose has a surprising amount of terrible Mexican food, so this location is a well deserved standout. You MUST try this place. Tacos are fairly priced! Soft tortillas, the asada pastor and lengua are nice quality. Good service. Quick food. Orange and green salsas are very good and very cold (always a good sign!). They are at this location THURSDAY and FRIDAY evenings. I believe other evenings they are at Hapas Brewing Co. Will definitely return every now and then for a quick, affordable, high quality Mexican meal.“
“Delicious, fast, and friendly. Exactly what you want in a taco truck. I got the bean burrito and taco plate. To me, if they can care enough for the simple items to make them good, everything else has the potential to be great. Will definitely be back“
“We ordered a mulita with pastor, 3 tacos (asada, pastor, and salmon!), two gorditas with asada, and a torta with picadillo. The tortillas and gorditas were made in front of us while the rest of the food cooked, and everything was prepared quickly. Everything was delicious, but the biggest surprise was the salmon taco which isn't offered anywhere else. A nice piece of grilled salmon served with a tangy coleslaw.Highly recommend this place.“
“Five stars for the EL Chore was a banger! I brought my mom out for some grub and on the way back from walking we found this place on Hillsdale and Paul Moore Park. This spot is popular so arrive early because the line can get long with a wait to match. hahaha. I got an incredibly large carne asada deluxe quesadilla, they served it with three huge parts and they add grilled onions with it. Suffice to say that I will go back to this joint to order more food. Go!Enso forever!Birria bread bowl.Mulita.Churros. Birria spring rolls."Art is like therapy; what comes up is what comes up. It may be dark, but that's what comes up. You may want to keep some of it in a drawer... but never judge it." ― Nick Bantock“
“Wonderful and modern food truck. Was walking around the city looking for a healthy meal. I approached Carlos and asked for his help to make me something healthy and clean. He prepared me a phenomenal Colombian dish with chicken. Highly recommend stopping by“
“We were just passing through and didn't know what to eat. We looked at the trailer hoping it would satisfy us. And let me tell you, it was much more than satisfactory. My husband loved it, memories of his mother's cooking came to mind. Excellent “
“Surprisingly good tacos Al pastor! I took the recommendation from the food truck and I almost didn't because pork is not really my favorite. I usually go for fish tacos but I'm converted. I'll have tacos al pastor again from this food truck. You can order from their tablet and pay with Apple Pay.“
“GOOD FOOD FAST SERVICE AND DOPE LITTLE SPOT I've driven past this place hella times and up until now I decided to finally stop by and hit it up. Man oh man I can see why they have a long line most of the time or busy crowd. They only sell tacos and are based out of Jalisco MX. they have a few meats asada pastor cabeza lengua pollo and like 2 other ones I can't remember the name of, I got the asada and pastor & my girlfriend got the asada & Cabeza The asada as simple as it may seem some people lack the flavor. Not here ! The asada was SMACKKK with an amazing flavor meat to cilantro and onion ratio. The tortilla was I think al vapor if I'm not mistaken and it just made the whole taco that much better Pastor was nice and flavorful with a nice little crisp to it The green salsa is a non spicy kind of salsa with like a few hints of acidity which was decent The middle salsa looked like a tomatoi type of thing going I didn't try it but my girl said it was good not too spicy but not not spicy just perfect Last salsa was spicy and hella good on the tacos it brought everything together so well Cabeza again was on point with great flavor Overall highly recommended and I'll definitely be coming back fosho“
“I tried Kona Island Coffee's new Mango Macadamia coffee cake. It is a moderately sweet new item they are trying out. This isn't overly sugary. It contains pieces of mango and provides a nice balance to their coffee. I would get it again.“
“Amazing taco spot that I visited located in the parking lot of the Shell gas station. Spoke with the nice lady who took my order and she mentioned they have been there for about 4 months now and I can’t believe I haven’t come sooner! Tried an assortment of their tacos: al pastor (they ask if you’d like pineapple on it), pollo, chorizo, as well as asada. My favorite was the pastor and chorizo as those are my go to’s but the pollo and asada were also delicious. Can’t wait to try their other menu items but wanted to start with the tacos to see how it went, until next time!“
“Overall a great experience, with solid late night Asian fried snacks - very friendly customer service and sweet lady working the truck - they seem to be new on the block and open lateTruck Chicken Sandwich:Comes with lettuce, tomatoes and acidic leaning thousand island sauce - very classic Asian cafe style fried chicken sandwich style, similar to the porkchop ones I've had in Hong Kong. I got mine crispy and it was very solidPopcorn Chicken:Well marinaded and fried, wish the outside was a bit crispier but honestly was still pretty good - hit the spot for what I wanted, especially later at night“
“I haven't written a Yelp review in a few years, but this food was so good that I had to. Tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, Rolling Oaxaca is truly a hidden gem and 100% worth checking out. It's run by a super nice family and you can tell they really pour their love into their food -- everything is made-to-order and comes out hot and fresh. My partner and I were really hungry so we tried like...75% of the menu. We got 4 tacos (steak, shrimp, tripe, and chorizo), birria sopes, al pastor and tripe empanadas, and al pastor quesadillas. Probably got enough food for like 4 people, but it was so fricken' yummy that we ate it all!!Everything was amazing. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly (juicy steak, fresh shrimp, deliciously charred chorizo, spicy crispy tripe, tender birria, and well-marinated al pastor). The three homemade salsas were spicy, acidic, and sweet in all the right ways to balance out the richness of the meat. And I was blown away by their empanadas, which look more like hard-shell tacos, but the dough is nice and buttery and cooked to a super-satisfying crispy/crunchy texture. I don't know how food this good only has a handful of reviews, but do yourself a favor and come here before they start forming massive lines!“
“Definitely come here for the tacos, they're 5/5. No complaints, absolutely delicious. The burritos aren't the best. They also put tomatoes-A LOT. I've never been to a taco truck that puts tomatoes on their burritos. Definitely ruined it for me. It was laking some flavor too. All in all, give this place a try. Order their tacos and you won't be disappointed!“
“Such a cute spot for coffee! Parking is limited but not impossible. There is only one set of chairs so I would recommend stopping by on a walk or grabbing it to-go. Hours are limited but if you're in the area, def recommend! Lavender coffee + brown sugar oat lattes were both delicious. I ask for mine extra sweet :)“
