“This morning, I enjoyed a cup of coffee, with my wife, at Steady State Roasting. The first thing I noticed was the open and airy atmosphere. The hanging plants only added to the ambiance. My wife delightfully sipped from a latte, while I had a house coffee. The house coffee was uniquely flavored, a bit bitter. Steady State Roasting has reusable stirring spoons, which is eco-friendly. Finally, they offer indoor and outdoor seating, to optimize the moment. Yes, this experience was worthy of a return visit.“

“Claire's Too is a convenient to-go coffee shop and more, located right next door to Claire's on Cedros in Solana Beach, California. Both establishments are charming and situated just a couple of blocks from Fletcher's Cove, making it a great spot to grab a coffee or snack before heading to the beach, which is exactly what I did.

I decided to get a turkey panini, although I was very tempted by the delicious-looking pastries. The menu mentioned that the turkey panini included cranberries and deli mustard, but neither was on my sandwich. When I inquired about it, the lady at the counter seemed a bit annoyed but did go to the main restaurant to get me a side. Unfortunately, she only returned with cranberry sauce and no deli mustard, which was disappointing. Additionally, the turkey did not fully cover the bread, leaving a quarter of it as plain toasted bread. Despite these issues, the sandwich was tasty enough.

Overall, Claire's Too is a good spot for a quick bite or coffee, but be mindful of potential discrepancies with menu descriptions. The staff's response could have been more accommodating, but the quality of the food was satisfactory. I would still recommend giving it a try, especially for their beverages and pastries.

“Wow! I love this place! The staff was so friendly and kind. They gave me recommendations and my coffee was made before I even left the register! I got an iced specialty drink and it was ✨sublime✨. It was the perfect blend of sweet and coffee where a lot of other places it’s either one or the other. I got the HOB sandwich on a croissant, and it was AMAZING! The sandwich was so warm, so tasty, and the perfect amount of food. It even came out on a beautiful wooden tray! The atmosphere is 10/10 and I would definitely come again. “We live to combine a home at Annie's canyon down the street with a visit to Claire's before or after.

I joined the wait-list on Google maps as I was driving there. Checked into the hostess stand after I was able to score the last spot in their small parking lot behind the restaurant. There is plenty of parking across the street.

Service was good and we were there at noon for lunch. It was busy but there were still plenty of empty tables out on their back patio. We had a little wait for our food orders and they came out at different times.
We ordered the salmon and peach salad and the veggie sandwich. The salad was very fresh and delicious. The veggie sandwich wasn't a hit so we don't recommend that dish. High stack of fresh vegetables but tasteless.“

My girlfriend and i love happy hour which is at 3-5pm on weekdays, and you get specialty coffee drinks 50% off and bogo 50% off.
Our favorite things to get are the torched latte, midnight mocha, and an everything bagel, where they put the cream cheese on too!“

To drink the coffee at the ucsd coffee stand is to in one moment comprehend the full grandure of G-d's creation. The acidity, flavor, and mouth feel are, in a word, transcendent. I of all people would know for I have watched every one of James Hoffman and Sprometheus' youtube videos. The coffee here cuts through the phenomenon of your sensory experiences like a bolt of lightning cutting through the spring breeze. To taste their coffee is to obtain an authentic experience of being that is beyond transmission by mere words. My only complaint is that Aaron, the barista, is not a simultaneously troubled and emotionally complex yet shallowly characterized woman played by Zooey Deschanel or Mary Elizabeth Winstead who will ultimately teach the protagonist of the story, me, how to love myself. For that they only get 4.68 stars which I have rounded up to a 5 for my review.“

“This is one of my go-to coffee shops! All of the staff are super sweet and always have new recommendations if you can't pick a drink. It's so beautiful and beachy up there and the shack is decorated so beautifully! Definitely recommend coming here, you won't be disappointed :)

“I was visiting the area for a work trip and looking for coffee/ pastries to bring to the office. MUCH better than going the Panera / Starbucks route plus the added benefit of supporting local. Convenient online ordering to make your morning pickup even faster. Delicious pastries and scones from a local bakery - light and flakey. Favorite (so far!) is the white chocolate cranberry. Also on my list to try - brownies, muffins, bagels, paninis. The Acai bowl a delicious and will be part of my morning fix for breakfast when I am visiting. Quick in and out plus delicious!
