“Both the coffee and service here are exceptional. At other places typically the barista does not take my order; the downside to that is that mistakes seem fairly frequent. Here the barista/owner takes my order and makes it just as discussed, always a perfect drink. This is my preferred stop when in need of coffee while in Encinitas.“

But I can't because I have a subscription to their coffee but they sent me the wrong coffee. it's been about a week, I've call a few times, left two voice mail messages, I've emailed as well and I have not gotten any response at all. The coffee I bought and subscribed to is good, but I can't continue to do business with a company that won't respond to their customers to fix their mistakes.“

“Revolution Roasters is a great place if you need some peace, comfort and a good cup of coffee. My boyfriend and I came to the cafe today with some friends who were visiting California.

We agreed that it was the perfect spot to get coffee and food to start our day before giving them a tour of SD. I've had different types of toast/pastries throughout SD/North County and this place has some of the best. Not only was everything refreshing but all the flavors were complimentary.

Additionally, the service was amazing. Everyone there was so kind and inviting. The food did take a bit of time to get to our table but it was worth it. Plus, the drinks were ready very quickly.“

Milan greeted us with such friendliness and we chatted it up while she made our selections. “Karak has quickly become my new favorite local coffee shop. I am a sucker for good chai, and when I saw they opened up close to me and have Karak Chai on the menu, I knew I had to give it a try. It did not disappoint! I was there the opening week, and I have been back regularly since then. If you like South Asian / Middle Eastern style chai (the one with milk & spices) then you're gonna love this. Other items on the menu are pretty good as well.

It's a great place to hangout at with a group of friends (especially the outdoor seating) but also a great place to get some work done in the day. I am usually there 2-3 afternoons a week as I get to work remotely, and I see lots of other remote workers/students. It's not too loud and the ambience is perfect to get some deep work done, accompanied by a cup of two of karak chais, of course. Also love that it's open so late! Cannot recommend the place enough!“
