“recently stayed at the BW in Carpinteria for a few nights. The first morning we enjoyed breakfast at the Sunset Grille. Staff all pleasant. Dining room nice and relaxing. Breakfast perfect. Had poached eggs with bacon and toast.Feel bad that there are so many bad reviews. We enjoyed it. Staff have to work so hard these days to make ends meet.“

He was attentive and friendly, greetting and checking on everyone without being overbearing, which can be a difficult balance to hit. Overall an amazing presence in the place. I'm a pro chef who's been in the industry for 20 years and Lalo is one of the best, most professional FOH managers I've come across anywhere, let alone a breakfast place.“

The menu was slightly different than what we saw online, and there weren’t many non-spicy options, which made choosing a bit tricky. The food itself was good, but felt slightly overpriced for what you get.

I had already been to Gulfstream and loved it, and this place is just as amazing. Food, quality, and service are a solid 10/10. Everything was served in just 5 minutes, and although the salad came out at the same time as the main dishes, when we asked for the check they told us they wouldn’t charge us for it because it had been “late.” Honestly, we hadn’t even noticed! Such a thoughtful gesture we even asked them to please include it because we enjoyed it.
