“Everything about this place is awesome! Ishmael helped us and his whole vibe was chill (in the best way possible) and kind. The tea was wonderful and the food was delicious - so.much.food. My only adjustment to the whole experience would be to turn by one quarter how people are seated at the tables. My daughter sat with her back to the door and I was facing her. The glare from outside was pretty bright so I wore my sunglasses most of the time. We probably should have just taken it upon ourselves to scoot around.“

“Tonight we, my husband and I, with our dear friends, the Crays, dined at Tomat for the first of what will be many times. The restaurant features a dining room and a roof top patio. A welcoming, comfortable space. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about all menu items. Our server Miley took excellent care of us throughout dinner and dessert. She assisted us with choosing items that would pair well with each other. She was never too busy to stop to see if everything was to our liking. She brought the chef to our table so we could let him know personally how much we enjoyed his creations. He gave us a bit of background on his plan of sustainability and creativity for his restaurant. The food was amazing. We had several appetizers. The tuna carpaccio was amazing, light and dark tuna with the freshest tomatoes. The welsh rarebit was so delicious. The weiser melon with strawberry kimchi was a delicious surprise. The house milled saffron rice was amazing. Our mains did not disappoint. The trout and chips were excellent. Everyone at the table said “best trout we have ever had”. The vegetable chips were outstanding. The vaca vieja ribeye was perfectly cooked. The pork three ways with chamoy was also perfectly cooked. Dessert was madelines, warm from the oven, with the strawberry sorbet and the saffron ice cream. All were outstanding. Overall, this was a fabulous dining experience. Great food with great service in such a comfortable atmosphere. And, we have already made reservations for next month!“

“I love this place. It's friendly, the bartender is an absolute sweetheart, the KJ is amazing, and they don't over serve and have overly drunk patrons there amd harassing other customers. “It is worth it to come here for the HH (4-7 p.m. Monday to Thursday) and enjoy the beautiful sunset view. If you are visiting (not an overnight guest), there is an additional admission fee to enter the cruise (discounted to $15 at 6 p.m.). The cocktails were exactly what you’d expect at a touristy bar - so I wouldn’t come here for any culinary innovation. But the cruise is worth checking out if you are a fan of the art deco designs.“

Hogged the pool table with a diverse group of male & female challengers.Neighborhood bar for all with the atmosphere y'all gravitate towards...dance, prance & romance if that's what you're after (or not!)
My one beef was wthe bartender at closing. I'm aware of his responsibilities to get us out when everyone's feeling no pain @2 am. Closing....not an easy job!
Perhaps one can attribute his fatigue & impatience trying to get us the hell out that resulted in my perceived rude encounter with El Jefe right at the end of a fun evening. Tone & attitude translate, my friend. Ya gotta be firm but not antagonistic.👹

“The Exhibition Room is located inside Roxanne's. We often go to Roxx bc they have good food and drinks. The juice is freshly squeezed, which makes a great cocktail!
We always get the beef sliders and the herb fries (can't rmbr what they are called) plus a big pile of nachos.“

“We recently visited to celebrate our anniversary. While we were disappointed to find that some items listed on the website menu had been removed, we had an overall satisfying experience.

The Pan Seared Aegean Branzino, Crab Cakes, and Lychee Rose Cake were all amazing. We found the King Crab-Stuffed Shrimp to be just okay, and likely wouldn't order it again. The cocktails were mixed well and tasted refreshing

“I had booked the One Bedroom King Suite for 3 nights months ago in anticipation of attending a concert at Sofi. It was recommended to splurge and go for the King Suite. Glad I did. I was very pleased with the suite and the whole Hyatt House experience. Since parking seems to be an issue for many, we pulled into the garage behind the Hyatt and paid $26 for one night of parking. They also charge hourly. I am not sure how some people are paying $45 with the hotel. I didn't mention it when I checked in and just used the in and out access of the garage. Shuttle was great. We used it both arriving and departing. Breakfast was fine too. I have no complaints.“

Granted it was a Saturday night so understandable that they would be busier than maybe during the week and livelier. My salmon was excellent and my crab cake was perfect. The steaks we ordered were great and my toddler loved his French fries 🤣🤣. Very cute interior and i definitely want to come back. Parking sucks...again because it was a busy weekend night so leave early and be prepared to park on street b/c the lot fills up. Thank you for a great night overall.“
