“I ordered the wrong roll. I was surprised when I bit into it. And it had cream cheese inside. I literally ate 1 roll and gave the rest away. The Sumi salad was good as always.. What happened to the softshell crab rolls? That was my reason for going. I've missed them. And living in Lancaster is hard finding exactly what I like. I also didn't like the fact they were playing hood music and ratchet songs with older adults present. Tho I like listening to it. It was embarrassing having to see ppl/ families sitting eating and their ears burning because of the vulgar music.“

“My go-to place for sushi when I happen to be in LA. There are no reservations, so you typically have to wait, but for not a lot of time. They have the right match of service people to tables and their system works well. The fish is always fresh and the tip is a flat rate on the bill at 16%. It’s a pretty small place, so probably not good for groups larger than 6 or with picky eaters (this is a sushi restaurant and doesn’t have too much else). The only ding is the their app sometimes calls you for your table too early and you have to wait in the restaurant before they call you back up.“

The service throughout the omakase was amazing and the sushi was the best weve had since visiting Japan! Toshisan is passionate and friendly. Cant wait to go back asap! “Great service! The lady at the register is so sweet with everyone who walks in the door. The sushi was fresh and priced reasonably. My favorite was the Tiger Roll. This place is more for takeout, they have a small seating area but no table service. Order at the register and pick up your order. I only knocked down one star for the wait time. I was told 20mins and it was more like 45mins. They seem really busy so I'd recommend to call ahead or expect to wait. Also, there is a 3.95% card fee if using a credit card so I paid with cash. I'll definitely return.“
