“this is definitely one of the noodle places
food was pretty good, but we ordered something asking for no allergens and they didn't make it with no allergens. my therapist will definitely be hearing about this once i get one.
EDIT in response to owner's response: It's been a while but it would have been egg and fish powder.“

“Loved this place! The ramen was rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the yakitori was perfectly grilled with a nice smoky flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was friendly, and you can really tell they care about the quality of the food. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!“

“Great food when in the mood for udon noodles or Ramen. Every dish tasted amazing and there was a variety of choices to include appetizers. Plenty of seating after pouring in your order at the kiosk. Once you're number is called you pick up your order and add spices, oils, ginger, etc as you want to your dish. When done you bring your trays to a stacked area (kind of full). Plenty of parking up front and the restrooms were clean.“

“Their Tan Tan Men Ramen are the best! I love how I have the opportunity to customize our ground meat choices (I.e. ground pork or ground chicken). Topped with nori, baby bok choy, bean sprouts, hard-boiled egg, and ground meat, the ramen have the perfect flavor. Their chicken karaage were the best too!“

“I ordered from DoorDash, the food and presentation is fantastic!
BUT I’m just very confused,
how is it associated with another sushi place/restaurant in UT? J&C house?
Perhaps the manager or the owner of Chubby can help me puzzle it out?“

“First time here and I really enjoyed my meal. Had the Chicken meatballs in chicken broth, mild with a side of pork gyozas. The atmosphere was really chill, I read my books as I waited for my meal. I'm definitely going back to try out their other options, maybe no spice to try out the broth without the heat of the spice.“

“I highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly. I went with my partner to enjoy a nice time together, and we were attended by a teenage girl who was very kind and attentive to us. The food was delicious, and she was very efficient at her job. She made me feel prioritized and well taken care of. It’s a great place to share a special moment as a couple.“

“We have been customers of Kai Ramen 4 years but because of destiny customers of this Arcadia location 2 years. Always worth the drive & with traffic on the 134/210. We are always greeted politely. The servers are always polite & detail oriented. Featured in the photo volcano ramen, spicy beef ramen, edamame, & spicy tuna crispy rice and gyozas.“

“Cool place. We sat at a table that looked like it was framed in a sake bottle. Plenty of parking. The ramen broth was tasty. Had a lemonade and at half sweetness was perfectly sweet. Lots a food and drink choices. The desserts looked really good, but I was too full. Can't wait to come back and try something else.“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.
Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

“Literally the best Japanese Curry House in all of the United States. Doesn't cost a fortune, service is amazing, it's Japanese-American but you feel like you're getting the same service you would get in Japan and a kitchen staff are very attentive and communicative. I had no idea this was here literally my whole adult life and now I go weekly.“

“If I could give this guy 10 stars on service, I would totally do it. Absolutely made my night. The food is very good, but the service is even better.
I love ramen and I love sushi, and both are very good here. My girlfriend and I come here sometimes, and it's always been a great experience, but especially tonight. It's how clean it is.
Especially tonight, there was a tall Asian guy that was just so joyful. He had glasses on, and it just really made our night.“

“Always wondered about this restaurant as there's always a line outside the establishment. My wife and I were seated with our friend group pretty quickly, a nice perk to the staff that handed out menus to choose your order to improve efficiency.
I love that the ramen is very customizable, from the amount of salt, oil richness, ingredients mix, sauce, and even noodle style. (Thin/Thick) There's moderate seating inside, some for large groups, duos, and some wall seats as well. It definitely has the vibes for a ramen shop, lights are a bit dimmer inside which highlights the kitchen staff (open kitchen). working on orders.
My wife and I both ordered the Original King Ramen and shared some appetizer (Chicken Karaage) with our group.
Orders came out pretty quickly and the portions are pretty decent size, a bit deceiving I'd say for the size of the bowl you receive.
1. The ramen is very flavorful, can't go wrong with either thin or thick noodles. In my opinion, the chashu is a must because it mixes the broth flavor with the meat, creating the savory flavoring, super yummy. A little side note is that the ramen is priced nicely, however the extra add-ons can accumulate in total.
2. The Chicken Karaage is a classic must try, Japanese styled fried chicken, super crispy coating, very flavorful meat, and bite size. The karaage is marinated very well & comes with some lemons for that sweet flavor if preferred. Highly recommend.
Overall, Ramen Nagi has very delicious ramen and is very much affordable. Huge plus for the ramen being very customizable & even has chefs recommendations for first timers. Only downside is that the shop is not super big, and long lines but it moves moderately fast if you don't mind waiting a bit.“

“Stopped by for a quick lunch after my pickleball game at La Habra. Got promptly seated and I appreciated the booth seating.
They have a good selection of Sushi, Udons, Grilled Dishes and Ramen. I opted to get a Sushi and Udon and it came out very well. The place has a good ambience for a quick lunch spot and service was on the mark !
I will definitely be back if I am in the area and want a quick bite. I missed out on taking some pictures as I was running out of phone battery :)“

“This is a really good sushi spot in a food court. The tempura, sushi, and bento boxes reminds of the old Sushi on Garfield takeout restaurant in Monterey Park (now permanently closed) before the owner changed its menu, but Sushi In The Box has many more choices.“

“This is a very cozy spot to grab a good meal. It’s not fancy or over the top, but that’s honestly part of its charm. It feels like a small local Japanese place where the focus is simply on serving good, comforting food.
The staff were very kind as well. It happened to be raining when we arrived, and they were nice enough to let us come in a little earlier than opening, which we really appreciated.
I ordered the pork cutlet with curry and the portion was very generous — definitely satisfying and full of flavor. The only small hiccup was that my Diet Coke was forgotten at first, so I had to ask again, but they brought it out shortly after.
Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. If you’re looking for a casual place with tasty food and a relaxed atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth checking out. The price per person is also very reasonable for the portion sizes you get.“

“Great Japanese izakaya in West Covina. The sashimi was very fresh and cut surprisingly thick. We also enjoyed the Wagyu dishes, especially the Wagyu Donburi and Steak Bites. The Cumin Black Snapper was unique and unlike anything I’ve had at a Japanese restaurant before. Nice atmosphere, good presentation, and a great spot for sharing dishes with friends.“

“The sushi is very delicious, and since it only contains a little rice, we can eat a lot of sushi. The staff also spent very much time making it themselves, and above all, the owner also brings service sushi to each blanket.
It's a place I want to visit again next time.“

“Great food and great service ! The new owner has made a lot of upgrades , modern tv menus, a fresh new look, and exciting new menu items . You can really tell there’s been a lot of investment put into this place . It’s no longer California roll and teryaki , Highly recommend if craving some sushi and teriyaki!“

“The food was amazing!! The flavor is 10/10
I got the sampler. Perfect amount and you get to try everything. Definitely coming back for the full size ramen.
They just need a tv or something to watch the games and this would be perfect. But it's a great little spot with delicious food.
The red salsa is also worth mentioning 💯“

“OMG, I never feasted in so much sushi in my life. They give you upto 3 rounds of special order sushi served one round at a time. Plus some very delicious side orders. We stopped at the second round. The sushis are freshly made, the ingredients are premium grade and delicious and above all the presentation is so beautiful that it's almost a crime to mess it up and eat it 😆.“

Delicious! A friend brought me here, since im still fairly new to the area. Its tiny not big, its cozy. It feels like your in a different place, which is cool. Our waiter was great, service was awesome too. We got there just before 5 o'clock. It was full, but we still go seated quickly. The ramen soup bowls are what we both had. It was super yummy! Also had potstickers, California roll..everything was good. We split the bill. Overall really good experience.“

“Great little ramen spot, food is always good, sometimes it great 😃. They offer a nice kids meal. Wait times can be long some days. And parking can be a pain on busy days. Orders are written on a printed sheet of paper, Ask for help ordering if it's your first time.“

“We stumbled upon this spot for ramen and were pleasantly surprised! The portions are great. They give you plenty of broth, and the ramen itself is really tasty. We shared the ramen and some takoyaki (which were decent), and it was more than enough for the two of us. It’s definitely tucked away in the middle of nowhere, so you really have to be looking for it to find it, but it's worth the trip if you’re craving a good bowl! 😅“
