“My son and I went there, tonight. Generous portions, and made me a Chicken Chimichanga, even though it’s not current menu. The flavor was great, and the chicken very tender. I liked the addition of the radishes and carrots on the side. (Slightly pickled) Fast service and friendly, too. We will go back.“

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“I usually stop by The P every month to hang out with my sister since she moved in last year, but might have to increase the frequency b/c of this taco spot! This place has the most flavorful al pastor I've had in a minute. Juicy, savory, sweet and most of all made with passion. My wife also ordered another taco with mushrooms which was also delicious. My sister and I each ordered a breakfast burrito that hit us with flavor bombs on the first bite. This place also serves complimentary chips and bean dip that are addicting. To top is all off, I ordered a jaimaica agua fresca that had the essence of the fruit but not overly sweet. A+++ highly recommend“

“Our first visit last night. If you want real Mexican food, this is the spot. We tried the Quesabirria and the street tacos and honestly it doesn’t get better than this. What really makes this place special is that it’s family owned and you can feel it. Mom is in the kitchen cooking everything herself and it shows. The food tastes cared for. And the margaritas were spot on too. Places like this are rare now. Honest food, warm people, and recipes that clearly matter to them. We’ll be back often.“

“Whenever I’m in Danville I make it a point to stop in. The food is some of the best in the area. The tacos has heaping amount of meat. Prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly. The big surprise is the brownies, yes brownies. Delicious and super moist.“

“There aren't enough stars to give this place. Family run and that's what you feel like when you go there. Buche, carnival, chicharones, chicken and ribs ( yes, ribs) are all outstanding. My neice comes back to CA from Austrailia and this is the place she wants to go. Even my buddy says it reminds him of how his grandparents cooked on their ranch in Jalisco. “Food was ok. Got the huevos rancheros. The refried beans were like a puddle of light brown with a scant amount of cheese- like a teaspoon. The star is the wonderful variety of veggies at the salsa bar. The place is functional, like a cafe. The people work hard to cut and prepare the food and clean the place. I hope they provide better quality of entrees. Like real beans in the refried beans. Place was empty.“

“This mom and Pop shop is definitely Underrated. Please folks don’t let the Area fool you. I stopped in for a quick soup because my tummy wasn’t feeling very well. from the beginning the service here was exceptional, and the food is absolutely amazing!! “The family atmosphere is what hooked us. We used to go here maybe once or twice a month before the pandemic. Since they reopened, they are closed on Monday’s, our usual day so it’s been 3 years since we’ve been there. They still recognized us though! Very strange, so my man and I went to pick up order to see if cheese cake was in store. There was a fridge full of cheese cake’. You need to fix this on door dash menu. Loosing profits. “I drive to the Concord location from Antioch because I don’t feel safe walking dogs or running errands in Antioch. I tried several other restaurants for burritos before settling here. Great chili verde burritos, always hot, fresh, pinto beans upon request, really nice people. Cinco sells enchilada sauce for people like me who like to make a tray of enchiladas at home to eat for a couple of fays. Reasonably priced.“

“Great food and plenty of variety. It’s not one of the cheaper ends when it comes to Taquerias, but that’s just me. The Asada is excellent, fresh, and lots of flavor. Everything is all good, but some of the hostesses working at the register...attituuuude! I’m not an expert in customer service, but a smile and good energy (not like the feeling when they want you to hurry up and order) goes a long way. I’m not taking the fact that the food is good, but working on your presence helps a lot!“

“I have been going to this restaurant since it was a small, hole in the wall, over 30 years, always with a long line. Several years ago they expanded including adding a patio area. I still like sitting in the original area. You are greated with chips, salsa and bean dip. They take your order and 5 minutes later, your food is being served to you. I had the Super Burrito, steak and my daughter had the bean and cheese burrito. Everytingg was delicious. Top notch. You wont find any Mexican food better anywhere in the area. The food along with 2 sodas came to only $17. These days a meal at a fast food restaurant cost you over $20. Here, you get free appetizers, delicious food and you are served, not going through a drive through. Go here. I promise you won't be disappointed.“

“Best Mexican market in town. Our favorite Mexican food is just inside and hidden in the corner, but the restaurant portion does close early. Everyone is always friendly and there is fresh meat & produce. Lots of basic staple options at this location. A lot to choose from in a very building.“

“Drove past a lot, and even parked in front of, but would go to mexican market next door. Finally went in & I regret not trying it sooner. The food was delicious, authentic. They have music playing, it wasn't full when we went, but it does seem to fill up for the weekend, all you can eat breakfast buffets. Definitely Recomendado!!“
