“My husband and I had the pleasure of trying the tea from this store. The quality and taste of the tea are fresh and strike that perfect balance!! We had the Yifang fruit tea and the sugar cane mountain tea. They are both amazing!!!!We grew up in Taiwan, and this is definitely an authentic taste of home to us!!We highly recommend this tea shop to anyone looking for a treat and tea option that will really bring you a piece of Taiwan!“

“I was walking through china town and spotted someone walking with this boba in their hand, so I decided to find the shop. It’s located in an alley a few shops away from the fortune cookie store. It’s very well decorated and they have an extensive menu of boba & some other foods. I ordered the Brown Sugar boba milk tea, with less ice & 75% sugar. I was told that it’s usually 50% but I still stuck with 75% and wow it was SO GOOD! Honestly the boba was like a 9.5/10 level of good. The tapioca boba were part of the price, $6.75 for a large. As a boba place they were out of boba and mini taro boba which made things much less appealing; also the red bean coconut latte tasted just like coconut milk, the amount of red bean is much less than what their ads picture looks like. The weird thing is, Fate Tea uses the same cups as the defunct boba shop. Popcorn chicken was not available as I walked in right when they were closing at 7pm. “My favorite crepe place in Japan Town!!!

I love how much they pay attention to the presentation of the crepes especially when they add cute little faces on each of them. I've been coming here for years now and I can say that they have always made their crepes still as good.

I always get the nutella and strawberries crepe with chocolate ice cream, whipped cream and cornflakes, but they have a lot of different combinations and you can customize it yourself too!“

“Located in the Parkside neighborhood, Milktopia is a small unassuming storefront; however, once you step inside you're greeted with a wide array of tea beverages, snacks and soft serve options - something for everyone!

Inside Milktopia, ordering can be done either with one of their employees or at the kiosk. Seating isn't plentiful in the store, which makes sense given the size; however, there are four bar stool style seating available for those of you wanting to enjoy your selections. Otherwise, most patrons often take their goodies to-go and enjoy them while strolling around the area.

I ordered their mango pomelo sago, the HK silky milk tea, and the salty egg puff. Mango pomelo sago is a personal go-to drink of mine, and I'm happy to share that the one crafted by Milktopia tastes just as good as any of my favorites. The HK silky milk tea was authentic, although I will note they use evaporated milk (as opposed to the usual condensed milk) so the drink is a little less sweet than it normally is, which could be a bonus to some. Their egg puffs are freshly made and take about 10 or so minutes to prepare. Their salty egg puff was a delicious mix of savory and sweet flavors, and they also have other unique egg puff flavors including oreo, boba, and meat floss (which I'll definitely be back to try in the future).

“Grapeholic is truly hidden gem located in Millbrae's Social Eatery food hall. Grapeholic, as it's name suggests, offers grape-focused tea drinks. As part of Social Eatery, patrons can take a seat within the food hall, place their orders on the provided tablet, and a staff member will bring the food an beverages straight to your table.

Looking for something to go with our meal, we decided to try the (1) cotton candy grape slush, and the (2) grape and lemon tea. The cotton candy grape slush was amazing - true to it's name it captured the cotton candy grape flavor in a delicious slush form that was both sweet and refreshing. The grape and lemon tea was also good; however, the lemon flavor was a bit overpowering and made it difficult to truly enjoy the grape that was in the drink. If you want grape to be the star of the show, then I'd recommend getting one of their grape-centered drinks instead.

Whenever I think of grape, my mind instantly goes to those sickly sweet yet bitter cold syrups of my childhood and the inner child in me still shivers at the thought of drinking those down. With that in mind, grape is not usually a flavor that I find myself partial to; however, Grapeholic might just make me change my mind. Their grape drinks were impeccable flavor-wise - imagine biting into a sweet bunch of grapes, and Grapeholic has essentially captured that taste and feeling into a drink!
