“Went at like 0200, seated immediately in terms of price and serving size its very valid. A good place for asian food for a 24hr location. Came for the filipino food but they also offer modern breakfast and some Chinese food. 👍 dont got photos but ate it up.“

“Amazing savory breakfast/brunch option. It looked like it was popular spot for locals/regulars.
I did the pork skewers and it melted in my mouth!
The very kind man taking our orders also sent us off with a dessert snack. As we headed out we overhead a convo and it seems like this sweet business helps give food to people in need. Im a fan of this place and will have to come back when I visit again.“

“This is a great value restaurant, everything is cheap here. The food is good and greasy. Not sure there’s anything healthy here😂.
Parking in the area is PIA, they seemed to be mostly busy but the line and order is fast. I liked the filipino pork chop more than the Hong Kong fried pork chops.“

“Genuine “Filipino” food that’s no where near “run of the mill “. Delicious Adobro really tender slow cooked pork that falls apart lightly covered in a special sweet sour sauce over rice with a fresh pickled veggy salad GF and vegan options not just after thoughts but real options. I’m coming back with friends“

“I went to a Starbread at a different location a few years ago and fell in love with the señiorita bread. I was in San Francisco for a few days and found out there was a Starbread here as well. I wanted to go back and get the bread that I remembered being so good. Well, this place did not disappoint! The señiorita bread was actually better here, it was fresh and sweet and buttery! Because I was traveling back home, I only got 10 for $6 however next time I will be getting a bigger box to bring back home!“

“Serving authentic Filipino food. All staff is very accommodating. The place gives nothing but good vibes and great food. A must visit Filipino restaurant in San Francisco California. 10 out of 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🇺🇸🇵🇭“
“This is one of those deceivingly small places, but it packs a lot of big bold flavors and hearty meals.
It is a highly efficient mom-n-pop restaurant, with an open kitchen and a food-prep operation in plain sight. Often you'd see fresh dishes poured right into the food warmers directly from the stoves. And with everything out in the open, you have the sense that everything is honest, as simple as a home kitchen.
And in spite of their tiny operation, the selection is ample on any given day in this turo-turo style, so much to pick from, and it seems as if point at anything, even from their shelves, everything is for sale.
These folks are hard working, kind people who try to send you off with as much food they can pack into to-go overflowing plastic containers. They are earnest at what they do. This is a fine example of a small business with big dreams.“

“I'm fortunate to live in a region of the Bay Area where there are a lot of Filipino restaurants and each of them do so much to sustain the cultural significance of the Philippine population of the area.
For years in having this restaurant as part of my rotation of Filipino cuisine, one of their superpowers is their consistency for delivering good tasting food. Time and time again, I find their offerings to be as good or better than their competitors.
Their service is great and you can count on being warmly greeted by the staff. I also feel that their portions are more generous than their counterparts. So if it's good food you're after, I highly recommend them.
And as is typical of a lot of Filipino joints, decor, atmosphere and aesthetics aren't their thing. As you'll see in the accompanying pictures, this place is about as basic, utilitarian and modest as a place can be, as stripped down as an apartment of newlyweds. But then again, you don't come here for the furniture and art on the walls did you? If you did, you'd be richly disappointed.“

“The focus is about consistently delicious food. I married into a Filipino family and have learned, as a foodie, that dishes take time, they need to simmer and they are layered with flavors and herbs. KUYA'S IS A STAPLE for our family. Take out or dine in its always delicious. Dine in and the lights may flicker... it take us out of the states and portal us towards a family that cares about food. Yum.“

“Where do I start. The food is so flavorful, the staff is so friendly, they remembered me after only going one time. I love the atmosphere! It's just nice and cozy. All the food I tried is delicious, but I'm just obsessed with their pork sisig. And of course they have kareoke! Lots of song options.“

“I've been here a few times, and I recently brought my mom. It's her favorite Filipino restaurant now. We've ordered and enjoyed: lumpia, chopsuey, beefstik tagalog, and pansit miki bihon combo. Our latest visit, we tried the Hawaiian oxtail soup. The meat was tender, and the broth was light and flavorful. And we always get my favorite dessert: mini bibingka, always warm and yummy.“
