“This became my go-to pho spot after Pho Holic got franchised and turned into the McDonald’s of pho :( The pho here is solid, but the price? Not so much. We’re now paying about $21 for a bowl after tax and tip. At this rate, prices seem to jump 20% every year—‘phoflation’. Please I only get ~5% raise every year.“

“Food and service were great. We are seated at around 2pm. Not a long wait even if we made reservation for 1:45. Inquired about happy hour menu. We were told we can only order from happy hour menu if we are seated in the patio area which is unheard of but other than that all is good.“

“Went on NYE with a large party. Was a very impromptu decision, but called in advance to see what their hours were. They were super happy to have us and had our table ready immediately. Place isn't super big, so just be aware if you plan to come in with an 7 or 10 top. Price was super reasonable.

“I went to this restaurant for lunch and enjoyed the food. I ordered the Bánh Khọt, which I had also tried in Vũng Tàu during my trip to Vietnam. Compared to the one I had in Vũng Tàu, I would say the Bánh Khọt here is very similar. The only difference is that the ones here weren't as warm as the ones in Vũng Tàu. The shrimp were fresh and tender, and there were plenty of vegetables in the dish. The fish sauce was perfectly balanced. The restaurant is small and a bit old looking/design, but it's clean, parking is easy to find, and has very simple menu. I also appreciated seeing elderly servers working, as it's great that they support older people in earning money at their age. I'll definitely return to try their Hủ Tiếu.“

“I have been eating here since 2002 while still in high school. First time ever eating Pho here. These 3 Viet guys from my classes introduced me to Pho at this place. Been going here whenever I’m craving Pho or Viet food in the Irvine area. The most flavorful Pho broth out of any Viet restaurant I’ve ever ate in California.“

“The pho Tai was surprisingly very good. Good portion of thin sliced beef and a good broth. Tucked away in a strip mall of Harbor blvd. Basic decor but clean and reasonable price not cheapest like some on other side of 405 but its good pho and that's all that matters.“

“Ordering is a little confusing. There is a monitor that allows you the option of dine in or carryout. But then you need to go to front to pay before they make the order.

Food was ok. Yellow rice was a little dry, and the chicken thigh was tough and dry. Egg rolls were very good. People were very nice. Probably should have gotten the pho.“

“Wanted to get Pho for lunch, this place was highly rated so popped in for food. It’s in a strip mall and not in a fancy location. Parking was easy and able to get seated very quickly for lunch.
The lady who served our party was welcoming and efficient. I think she is the owner.
We all loved the food we had. I liked the beef Pho which was very flavorful. My wife liked the chicken cabbage salad very much. Would recommend the Thai iced tea too, not so much the iced coffee.
We had a coconut too, was really good.

The bowls are relatively affordable and they have tasted consistently good for over 15 years perhaps it’s trip down memory lane for my family. It’s never too crowded and the pho tastes authentic. My go to order is bun bo hue with extra broth on the side, and if I am feeling extra hungry, I will order a side of spring rolls or egg rolls. Their bun bo hue is delicious, packed with flavor despite the broth looking a bit light. The extra broth on the side is extra hot and a great addition for broth lovers. Their spring rolls are also great, rolled nice and tight for the perfect bite. Since it's the morning, I do not have a problem with their service as they are attentive and always makes sure I am okay.“

“I ordered Bánh Bèo Chén and Bún Bò Huế. The Bánh Bèo Chén was excellent—it was served in small bowls that kept it warm until the last bite, and the texture was perfectly soft. The fish sauce was well-balanced and complemented the dish nicely. As for the Bún Bò Huế, it was above average but not outstanding. The meat was a bit too chewy, and the portion of steamed beef (Chả Bò) was quite small, with only two tiny pieces. The service was fast, and the restaurant was clean, but I didn’t appreciate the waitresses gossiping about their coworkers within earshot of customers.“
