“I tried Salty’s Lavazza coffee for the first time today. The coffee was perfect. The flavor was very smooth, with the right brew strength.
I also tried the avocado toast. The toast was delicious!
The impeccably clean little cafe/sandwich shop is staffed by pleasant, attentive staff.
I noticed a delicious and nutritious looking Cobb salad, and a variety of healthy snack items.
When on Van Ness Ave in SF, go to Salty’s. You will not be disappointed.“

“Top notch sandwich shop serving original curated slab sandwiches. Great meat and veggie selection. Although it common to pick up to go orders, I would suggest staying and enjoying the retro arcades lining the wall. The owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming.“

“I ordered a mango smoothie, which was very good. They have a good menu with many choices for breakfast and lunch. They have outside seating and are conveniently located. The service was friendly with a big smile. I am a local and will definitely return.“

Was getting a tire fixed close by and walked in to get the mortadella sandwich. Neopalitana? Which the sandwich was on point and perfect. Also it was made quite quickly. Sat outside and the owner I would assume asked me how it was. Great place and sorry I forgot to take a picture of the sandwich :)

“Anyone rating this place under 5 stars is insane! This is my go to spot in SF for great breakfast items. The staff is beyond friendly and the location and atmosphere is great. Whats even better is it is at the BART station Embarcadero i get off every day. From coffee to bagels, to yogurt to breakfast sandwiches your breakfast needs will be fulfilled.“

“I had an amazing experience at Gambino’s New York Subs and couldn’t be happier with our visit.
First off, the bread was incredibly fresh and toasted to absolute perfection. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The deli meat inside the sub was top quality, flavorful, and piled on just right. You can truly taste the freshness in every bite. The veggies were crisp and fresh and added the perfect balance to the sandwich.
The woman who took our order was outstanding. She was polite, friendly, and incredibly quick, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Her positive attitude really stood out and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
To top it all off, the owner or manager came out and offered us samples of their Italian sausage. That was such a thoughtful and classy touch. It showed how much they care about their customers and staying connected to what people enjoy. You do not see that kind of customer service everywhere anymore.

“This place is so underrated, what a gem in an unassuming place! I had the chicken banh mi and the bread was fresh and had the perfect amount of crunch and the flavors were great. I come from SJ and although I wasn’t say it was the most “authentic” banh mi it was so good and did not feel like a heavy meal. The chicken rice soup had so much umami, would honestly be a treat and I’ll probably crave the cozy comfort of it when I’m sick.

There are a few seats inside and out but seems like a quick pickup and takeout place which works for me! We had the food inside last time though and service was so sweet. They were very attentive even when they were filling orders :)“

“Probably the best sandwich spot in San Francisco. I have been coming here for about 3 years now, never has let me down. I’ve tried many sandwiches and all of them are absolutely phenomenal. The owners are all great people, service is great, don’t have one bad thing to say.

“Looks like a a tall , green , corn chip dipped into a red salsa sauce. It does not have the grace of Flatiron in NY; and hence it relies on reputation of hosting a restaurant, Cafe Zoetrope, frequented by the great film director Coppola ; it’s a building that lives on the fame of another person. It’s a side show but at least it’s not an eye sore.“

“Fantastic deli experience near the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The retro-style design is super stylish and inviting, and the staff were friendly.
The menu has a strong focus on pork sandwiches but also turkey and beef options. The two sandwiches we tried were absolutely delicious, generously filled with high-quality pastrami and fresh coleslaw, perfectly balanced and full of flavor.
Great selection of drinks and a fun shelf with retro sweets and chocolates. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the outdoor seating is a nice bonus.

“I never imagined I’d describe an egg salad sandwich as decadent, but this one is that! The sandwich has three slices of pillowy side and fresh milk bread. In between are generous layers of a creamy tasty egg salad. The eggs are terrific and the mayo adds a velvety texture without feeling oily. There’s nothing extraneous. This one is better than the amazing egg salad you find in the ubiquitous Seven Eleven’s throughout Japan.“

“Ms. DIANA 😡. I’m so hurt and frustrated because I’ll never be able to get such great service like this again. She made me her “son’s chicken sandwich” and she put the mama touch on it 🤤. Damn…just damn. It’s not on the menu, it’s just exceptional love and passion for what she does. I will never go to another Focaccia location again. Ms. Diana is the #1 option hands down and no contest. Do yourself a favor and go see her. She’ll change your life with her smile alone. “This is our favorite sandwich shop in Mill Valley and frankly one of our favorite sandwich shops we’ve encountered even while living in SF for nearly 10 years. Sandwiches are a dime a dozen but the best sandwiches have the right bread, right amount of moisture vs dryness, high quality deli meat, and that certain set of ingredients that you’re not quite sure why it’s so much better than other sandwiches with the same ingredients. That is ABSOLUTELY Antone’s East Coast Sub Shop!! My husband and I go almost every weekend, it’s such a treat for us. I’m actually getting hungry for it as I write this review 😅

Also, the owners are the sweetest people ever who clearly love their shop and the community. I was running late to their shop before closing hours and they sweetly left my sandwich out front for me with my name on it bc they knew I was going to arrive after they closed up shop. “The staff at this Subway are awesome. I came in at 9:30pm to order 17 six-inch subs for a student field trip, not realizing the store closed at 10pm (online it said it was open until 1am). Adrienne the girl at the counter was soooo nice to agree to make all the sandwiches, which ended up making her clock out late. She saved the day! The field trip with the kids was a hit and they loved their sandwiches.After I left I realized I accidentally left my credit card in the card reader (tired teacher). Alex F the morning guy kept my card safe for pick up after I got off work.
