“Poul’s Bakery took our breath away , we couldn’t believe the cake we have taken pictures from we have searched the internet images and sent it to her the custom cake we wanted , and not only she made the identical one ,the taste was so delicious actually finished the entire slice, it’s rare for me to eat the whole slice, as many cakes are made with to much sugar , it overwhelms to entire cakes other ingredients, this was so perfectly balanced ,and l asked for second , so did few guests , we as host wished we ordered the bigger size , we don’t like the buttercream topping due to its excessive sugar , we ordered her soexisl topping , while you others ask no buttercream but we want Poul’s Bakery special topping we heard so much about it , sorry l don’t remember what it was called . My bad ,this Poul’s baker we also find out been around for decades as she is the second owner but uses the same original recipes. She said it’s a company secret Lol, we respect that Try Poul’s Bakery , it won’t s sidelong you and ask for a sample of their fantastic cannolis . And on the spot in events she actually make the cake front of your guests . We never tried that but people are ranting about it and went at viral with millions of views and shared ,,we saw it in her website . “Love our experience at Eightfold Tea Shoppe this past weekend. The girl working was very efficient and was straightforward with us letting us know that the drinks were going to take a little bit longer than usual as there were several orders ahead of us and she was the only one at the moment. It was definitely worth the wait, the drinks were made to perfection; good balance with the tea taste and sweetness. We ordered the Earl grey cheese cream and mango swirl.

“J. Sweets is located inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Costa Mesa. I’ve purchased many items for gifting but my top 3 favorites to gift are the Royce chocolates, the Yoku Moku “cigar” cookies, and the Hokkaido Shiroi Koibito. The latter is one of my favorites as it reminds me of my very first trip to Japan where I first tasted these delicate cookies.

The service is always very pleasant and the workers are very helpful with recommendations when you ask them.

For a small shop, they offer quality products for gifting that will sure to please those new or familiar with the product. It always leaves the recipient with a smile!“

“The cakes and tarts are great, but unfortunately they don't have an oven and don't heat up their croissants! Which is a bummer because cold and stale aren't the best. But other pastries like mille feuille and lemon tart were incredible. Best mille feuille I've had in OC! There's no place to sit inside the cafe, but you can take your food and pastries to the general complex with portola etc, and there's lots of open seating spaces there“

“i found the Challah bread in the store and kept buying it every week. after a few months i stopped seeing it in the store so i looked up the bakery just to find they are a mile away from my house. when i saw all the other baked goods they had i was very happy. i tried a few things but i cant find anywhere a list of baked goods they make. every time i see more and more things that i cant recognize but the smell is just amazing. if they watch this i would love to know how to get a list of what you make.“

I have tried several different brands of desserts that are touted for their clean ingredients and for eliminating the most common allergens but nothing has come close to Nowhere Bakery quality and taste! My order arrived today and I was so excited that I tried two item, the brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. My mind is blown! They taste SO good, like normal desserts and they didn’t cause my body to react (I’m extremely sensitive to what feels like everything). I already excited and can’t wait to order my second box of goodies to have on hand for those night that I’m craving dessert. “This little Japanese bakery has lots of unique savory and sweet pastries and bread. We tried the Aji Tama Egg donuts, Wagyu Curry Bread Bread, Corn Mayo, Strawberry cheesecake Danish, Chocolate strawberry croissant,etc. We love it all. The staff are friendly and polite. But this bakery is a small counter in a corner inside Mitsuwa, so when there are a handful of customers around, you have to be patient and wait. The price is very affordable but the bread is smaller and slightly more pricey than 85c. But, the variety and quality is definitely worth every penny. This bakery also sells coffee as well in case you want some caffeine to wash down these delicious pastries with. Parking can be very challenging during peak hours.“

“One of my favorite coffee shops of the OC area

As soon as I stepped into the cafe, I was met with a high ceiling that was a refreshing break from more of the low ceiling office spaces that I had been studying in. The layout and decor is well put together with the napkins, coffee cup sleeves, and utensils being easily accessible and out of the way from any lines that may form. I’ve also delighted in the presence of board games and enough seating to host these board games! The space is fitting for any who seeks to study with enough accessible outlets within reach wherever you sit. There’s also a maker space area right next door, and in a sense because there is no closed doors between the cafe seating area and the maker space market - it just makes the space feel even more spacious!

I ordered an iced chai latte spiced with nonfat milk. It came out to be $6 for a large cup size. I took one sip and all my worries for the day seemed to have melted away! Praise God! It was incredibly thoughtful to have stickers placed on the drink so that you would know who made your drink. The staff are all kind and hard working - God bless you all.

I want to be back to try the other drinks because it seems like there’s a new seasonal drink incorporating mushrooms, which I have not heard before.

The time here was wonderful.
