“After our quick flight we were looking for a spot to grab coffee and a bite before a show at the Segerstrom Center. Most of the nearby recs on Reddit were super upscale—not really our vibe. We’re into the arts, sure, but we’re also lowkey and prefer somewhere relaxed. So glad we found Hola Adios. The coffee hit the spot, the breakfast burritos were delicious, and the chill, youthful energy of the place made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want good food without the fuss.“

“Love this place. Right off the freeway in a convenient location. They shop is well decorated with a nice vibe. Their coffee is always solid with good variety of drinks. It a good spot to work during the day or just swing by for a drink to go. Overall its a great little spot“

“O.B is the only coffee shop in OC who HAS NOT BURNT my espresso!! The iced latte is delicious simply with organic milk and a little maple. NO pretentious hipster energy here unlike many other shops around town. For the people who love nerding out on coffee, you'll love this place“

“A Wonderful Discovery in Costa Mesa

As a new customer at The Lost Bean in Costa Mesa, I couldn’t be more delighted with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into a space that is clean, well maintained, and peaceful — perfect for relaxing or getting work done.

The coffee is excellent, crafted with care and consistency. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything I’ve tried has been outstanding.

What makes this place even better is the staff, especially a gentleman named Chris. He is kind, sincere, smart, and attentive. He creates a welcoming atmosphere and seems to play a major role in running the shop.

The entire team is friendly and helpful, but Chris stands out. I hope the management team recognizes him and lets him know he is appreciated. He makes a big difference.

Because of him and the great environment, The Lost Bean has quickly become one of my favorite places in Costa Mesa.

“Checked out In-Sit Coffee with my wife and we both ordered the Mizuba Yorokobi Ceremonial Matcha with a little vanilla sweetener. Nothing too crazy or wild, but definitely a solid matcha option. Good flavor, really smooth, and honestly tasted super close to the Aiya ceremonial matcha we usually make at home, which was a nice surprise. What caught my eye the first time walking up was the whole vibe of the place. The inside counter was really clean and had a cool look to it, kind of one of those spots you would want to hang out at for a bit. Plus there was a line out the door and the inside was packed, so you already know that was a good sign. If you are into a clean and smooth matcha without it being too sweet or bitter, this is a good spot to grab one. Would definitely come back to try a few more things on their menu when it is not so crazy packed.“

“It's Starbucks. I don't know if it's possible to have a negative experience at _any_ Starbucks. Staff if pleasant, welcomes you when you walk in, knowledgeable about their products. They're happy to customize your order to exactly as you want it and barring being utterly slammed (which can happen from time to time) they are quick and efficient. I may or may not bleed Starbucks green, but I'm not biased. 😉“

“On a street just absolutely inundated with coffee shops. From the kitchey little no pun intended Kit coffee at one end showing you how coffee is done and some City you don't really want to live in, all the way to the Walmart of coffee, Starbucks at the other end. There are some notable filling up the middle like Keane coffee that's somehow related to the old Diedrick's that somehow got his roasting technique from Doctor Illy of Italy's Illy Cafe fame but if you are a true coffee connoisseur and really know what great tasting brewed coffee is, Peet's is the only choice. From the classic smooth but not meek by any means, major dickason's to the sweet super dark but not ever burnt, italian roast to the Smoky pungent French and then one of my new favorites a slightly lighter roast, Cafe Domingo. If they only carried heavy cream on the counter for the customers I would feel like I was in Europe again. So, don't listen to the trends listen to your tongue your nose and your common sense. Oh yeah, and if you're a millennial they have stuff like cold brew and chai tea as well. Peet's“

“This outdoor cafe in the middle of the performing arts center is convenient and reasonably priced. The drinks are certainly cheaper than inside. Also the bartenders are excellent and will make you any cocktail they have the ingredients for. The food menu is updated regularly. Currently they have a nice mix of sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads.

Parking: Free parking is nowhere near by“

“We got brunch here with 3 adults and 3 toddlers. The back area was beautiful and a perfect enclosed area for us all to enjoy before eating some delicious food. The mimosa, breakfast burrito and peanut butter & chocolate bar were highlights.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of outdoor space. On the morning we were there the back was empty, which was perfect for letting little people do some exploring without bothering other customers.“

“This Starbucks is very well managed and staffed with friendly folks who take a genuine interest in their customers. One morning I was running late and my mobile order did not go through. The manager remembered me later in the day when I went in and sorted me right out. Then about a week later a partner who works the early am shift also remembered me and apologized and gave me a coupon. It made my day she remembered after a week“

“Good vibes here at 6 am on a Thursday. Friendly workers and they were fully holiday seasoned out on November 3rd. Nice location by the 405 for an early stop though I'm sure they have heavy mall traffic later in the day.

“This location is very pleasant and relaxing. They have bake goods, cookies, breads, gingerbread cookies, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches at lunch hours. The atmosphere changes per season or unique days like Star Trek day. Kid friendly.

“This is the best boba I’ve ever had and definitely the best in OC. We’ve been coming for years, and they are always consistent. The crème brûlée is to die for, and their taro is top notch. Their jasmine tea is also delicious. Whatever you get, will be great, and if not, they will redo it for you. The workers have always been very kind and happy, and I feel very welcome every time I go in. Bonus points for having a bathroom and for a super chic place. The cherry on top is their really great rewards program that gets you to free things pretty quickly. I really feel like Feng Cha cares about me as the customer and treats me well.“
