“Amazing Japanese cuisine in Costa Mesa, CA. This place is one of the best Japanese restaurants in all of Orange County. The interior style resembles what all Japanese restaurants should look like, and most importantly, the food and service was top notch. They have an extensive sushi menu and it has always been very fresh and also Japanese imported. Hands down, my top 5 favorite Japanese restaurants in California.“

“The Duck Confit Spliff is a great representation of the Vietnamese & French cultures “wrapped” up all in one dish. And for a more traditional & fun way to eat it, you definitely have to use your hands. My only wish was for a little more duck in the spliff.

With the Ebelskivers, the concept was again brilliant. The garlic emulsion creates an intense garlic flavor but in a light and airy way. But like takoyaki, I wish there was more escargot in the batter to remind me more of that chewy feel from the traditional dish.

The surprise star of our meal was the Royale with Cheese. The wagyu had great flavor and char. And the sesame seed bun held up well for this napkin-required burger. But those pickles were amazing nuggets of necessity to add balancing acidity to the richness of the dish.

We definitely want to try the Duck Breast, the Spanish Octopus, and the Prix Fixe Meal on future visits. A final thanks to Chef & Curtis for the friendly service and explanation of the menu.“

The wait to be seated is long. Would not have waited but one person in our group was visiting from out of state and insisted.“

“Wonderful servers and the most delicious food. We had braised oxtail which was so tender amd full of flavor. The duck prosciutto was rich, delicte, and a delughtful bite. It had such a luxurious mouthfeel from the layer of cured fat. YUM!!
We also had the octopus, which was very tender though it could have used a tad more flavor.“

The place is quite nice for any occasion even date night, the service is always good and the people are polite. Kinda sad you can’t put 2 flavors in one pizza but other than that I love this place! Blame covid for the price increases and there are sign posted to make you aware of the increase. it's the best food and most reasonable prices in town. if you cant afford a 11 dish then don't buy or complain about it. “Stopped in this cafe on a whim today and was so happy I did. I got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection. The sourdough was amazingly good, crisp and chewy, and the eggs were fluffy. The staff was so friendly and nice and the pricing was very reasonable. Wished I took photos but it was too good and I ate it so fast! Highly recommend this spot.“

From the Ratatouille to the Pistachio Soup (a delicious bisque) to Signature dish the Airline Chicken, we didn’t leave a morsel on our plates. Then there was this unique confection… Baclava Cheesecake!“

My GF was extremely hungry so they took a quick order of a taco first, ordered it and then came back for the order she received her Taco satisfied her hunger. Then the shared food came out, She ate 3/4 of that. She must have been hungry.
The waiter was extremely accommodating, repeated checkups on us.
Wonderful demeanor.

“This is for sure one of my favorite curry shops in all of OC. The atmosphere is great. Super casual and it does really remind me of the tiny little restaurants I've eaten at in Japan.
Their add-ons are shockingly cheap and the curry is quite delicious. I think my only complaint is that some of the meats aren't heavily seasoned or spiced, so they can be a little plain. The curry itself is plenty flavorful though, so you dont really notice that the meats are less seasoned.
I go here a lot and I love it every single time. Highly recommend.“
