“Had lunch there today. I had a French dip sandwich made of prime rib.. I had the sandwich, packed with prime rib, plus au jus. The fun was crispy, but not ready. As a side, they provided tater tots, which I happen to love. I asked if I could also have a side of coleslaw, which was delicious and was added without charge. It was about the best French dip that I’ve ever had in 67 years. The bun was crispy, but not heavy. Dipped into the au jus, it was heaven.They are good hearted people, and they should be patronized.“

Where is this place? Downtown. This place exists. Special thanks to our hostess at the Pizza restaurant upstairs Miranda! She was amazing. Her personality and conversation about the bar Belvedere added personality to the already breathtaking restaurant. The bar with a bistro in a city that closes early? Yes, bring a party for the large round tables or sit at the bar. In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. The place is popular. Miranda helped us out like a Santa Rosa tour guide. She told us about the bars and their personalities. We had a great meal hanging out in the restaurant before mixing drinks downstairs. Santa Rosa is lucky to have Belvedere. The bar keeps people from driving to San Francisco in the rain the weekend. “We love Goldfinch and have had many great experiences there. This time was not the same. The service was slow and lacking and our server was not the usual Goldfinch type. She was less friendly, definitely not helpful with wine selection, and just generally inattentive. We won't let this experience keep us away though. We'll be back!“

“I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items. 1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland 2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side 3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy 4. soup was terrific the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad“

“Very nice dining experience. Food was presented very well. Flavors were terrific. Our group ordered steak tartare, a butter lettuce salad, duck confit, steaks and a burger. Service was very attentive and helpful. Ambience was great and nice fine dining establishment. Drinks were delicious. Look forward to return visit soon!“

“My daughter recommended this restaurant and I took my sister there last night. The food was very good, and would totally go back again. BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? It's not cheap to eat out any more as it is, and to not to accept a gift certificate is BS!“
“My recommendation is: Please, manage visitors with kids, who allows them to scream and run like a crazy in a public place, who not trained about etiquette how to behave at public. Work with leadership team of Double tree hotel together to fix the issue in a future. We like to come Baccus, because of delicious food, great service and very quiet environment. Last visit on February 14th, it was very noisy from hotel visitors with kids. Sitting at the table in restaurant we even can't hear each other because of screaming kids. Please,solve the issue in a future!“

“The fig and prosciutto pizza was great. So was the lemoncello cocktail. The service was great too, except they forgot to honor my special occasion request to celebrate my sister's birthday. I didn't say anything because I wanted it to be a surprise, but the request was noted in my reservation. They apologized, said it was a computer glitch. We still had fun! Raphael, our server was a delight To top off the evening, we saw Thunder from Down Under show! That made our night!“

“Highly recommend making this a must stay place if you’re in the Sonoma area! The resort is so funky, fun and makes you feel special while you visit. The vibe at the Lazeaway Club is awesome. The food is mostly shareable bites, the cocktails were delicious. The DJ on Sunday by the pool left us wanting to stay longer! The best thing about the resort is the staff! Top notch and we can’t wait to visit soon:)“
