“We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. Then go to Dunkin Donuts for Matcha latte. Boba Box is amazing and drinks always comes out the same taste every time. Just the right coldness and amount of toppings. Keep it up the good work.“

“One of my favorite places for a boba drink. The shop has special events for arts and crafts, kpop fans, and holidays. I go for the delicious drinks. My faves are the orange milky way, sweet pink, and strawberry mochi. The Alaska sunset, honey lemon mint tea, and fruit tea are also very good. The service has always been great. I only wish they were open later. Sometimes my boba craving hits at 830pm and it's too late 😭“

“I love tealove. They have so MANY options to choose from. Ranging from teas, juices, coffees and the list goes on. You also choose your level of sweetness. My husband loves the coconut milk tea with boba and brown sugar drizzle. I always get the strawberry coconut with popping strawberry and coconut jelly. My son got the mango lemonade and loved it. He's also tried the peach lemonade and liked it alot too. We ordered 5 minutes before getting there and when we got there our order was ready. They are super fast with orders.“

“New Boba spot and I love it. Their prices are very reasonable and I love that their boba is always fresh and soft. I always order off the swirl menu. Add creme brulee to your drink. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“

They also have an option where you can get a mystery plush keychain with your drink. That one is always a fun one to get. We've got quite a few keychains. Highly recommend this place.“

“Stopped by after my service club's meeting for some boba. Very cozy setting inside with several seating options, plus the large patio outside. Make your way to the back to order first and then pick a spot to sit.

I got a delicious hot almond milk tea with boba and they were cool with using my reusable tumbler for the beverage! Solid drink. Too bad I was still full from dinner that I couldn't try any of their food items.

Another awesome thing is that they stay open pretty late, closing at 11 pm, which is a lot later than some of the other places around that close earlier at 9 or 10 pm. Though, if you're friends with the employees, they let you stay later (we were kicked out at 11 pm, while a group of 6 were allowed to stay).

My orders were via delivery but from experience it’s the best, excellent and tasty Taro boba drink I’ve ever had. It’s so hard to a very good Taro drink these days using fresh Taro, I love ❤️❤️❤️ House Taro Yuan the best!! “Amazing atmosphere! Bookstore-like decor and plenty of cool board games. Ordered the chicken wings which were juicy and spiced just right. Relatively empty in the afternoon so a great place to work then.

Critical feedback: I ordered a peach oolong milk tea with boba, 0 sugar. The drink was very watery and I requested more milk in it, but it still wasn't enough. Slightly disappointed with the drink.

Nice-to-have enhancement: have sugar packets outside so customers can adjust the sugar level themselves. Would be nice if the boba had a honey coating to it.

South El Monte is also home to a lot of Taiwanese boba supplies companies and import so that makes people who start boba shop businesses in the South El Monte an easy access to the materials and that makes it all thrive. When I am not getting the 7Leaves down the street in South El Monte, I would come here to study Mandarin or work on software engineering projects remotely. I think South El Monte has a thriving community of Asian and boba drink lovers. Hello Boba adds another great addition to that one. Another great option is Boba Time which is also right down the same street. I love to get boba and then head to the King Taco place and drink boba with my taco.“

“I have been trying various milk tea places in the area to find a place that would cater milk tea for my upcoming wedding. My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. The passion fruit or lemon black tea are so far my favorite here. It was mixed well with great favors. The original hotdogs I tired had so many dipping sauces to select from that it was delicious. They take both cash and credit card, have both a person to help order or those order yourself monitor, everything convenient plus a restroom for customers not like some other tea places.“

“Plenty of parking because one of the stores inside a strip mall. Right next to Code Ninja and across from usps store. Theres a sign on the wall outside but the boba shop is a little hard to find because its located inside Miko’s pet supplies. Once you walk into the storefront, you will see therea a glassdoor that leads you to a room and thats the boba shop.

The serve is good as the lady that works there greeted me with a friendly smile and answered my question as best as she can. I ordered the house milk tea with boba and boba came out hot and sweet. Tea isnt too sweet with the taste of tea.

The staff don’t speak that much English pretty much Chinese only but you can point at the menu and you’ll be fine. There is plenty of parking outside, so you will never struggle to look for that. If you have time to kill, the market is directly connected to this spot so you can take a stroll inside the market as well.“

I ordered #3 pho (steak and brisket I believe) and egg rolls. lots of meat and broth in the pho. my one gripe is that the pickled veg included with the egg rolls were cut very thick almost like matchsticks, not thin shreds like I typically find. it made the eating experience a little clumsy but good flavor and lots of filling inside.“
