“I have made boba stops every day this week while I’ve been in LA. I had the strawberry matcha drink. It was decent for what it is but the strawberry that is used seems to be a syrup base which wasn’t my personal preference. Reminded me of what gets used in a McDonalds strawberry sundae.

Again drink was not bad, just wasn’t my personal preference from other strawberry matches he had.

“I have been trying various milk tea places in the area to find a place that would cater milk tea for my upcoming wedding. My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. “We have been going to Boba Box since it was still doing the soft opening. We drive about 15-20 mins just to come here. My family found a new boba place that actually accommodate everybody drinking favorite. I don’t have to drive to Rowland Heights for Half And Half then go to West Covina for BYOB and OneZo. Then go to Dunkin Donuts for Matcha latte. Boba Box is amazing and drinks always comes out the same taste every time. Just the right coldness and amount of toppings. Keep it up the good work.“

“It’s cats and boba tea here at Miko Boba. A pet supplies store is connected to this boba milk tea place. There is a cat living quarters with a a nice cat tree in the middle of the room. There are maybe a dozen cats of various size and age living there like a fishbowl. You can stare at the cats all day while drinking your milk teas. Pet supplies store has high quality feeds and accessories for cats and dogs.

Critical feedback: I ordered a peach oolong milk tea with boba, 0 sugar. The drink was very watery and I requested more milk in it, but it still wasn't enough. Slightly disappointed with the drink.

Nice-to-have enhancement: have sugar packets outside so customers can adjust the sugar level themselves. Would be nice if the boba had a honey coating to it.

“When the other Boba Avenue location closed in San Gabriel area I was very sad. It was like my favorite spot to come when I'm in the area because they're strawberry yogurt and fried tofu were very good. I heard from the owners that the plazas that the other locations were at decided to do other things with the space. It wasn't that they were having bad business or losing money. At least this new location has plenty of parking and there are other Asian businesses in the plaza like tasty BCD tofu house and others. The outside seating area for the business has some sort of imitation scenery kind of like the ones you see in Disneyland to imitate a area. Like a business is not really a business it's a wall lol. Other than that there strawberry yogurt is just as good as I remember and they do serve the fried tofu. I usually call ahead on the phone if I just want to pick up and go quickly. They do stop serving fried food close to the 11:00 p.m. Mark so try to come before then.“

The peach cheese foam drink was refreshing and there was actual bits of peach in the drink. The drink wasn't overly sweet and made quickly. I can't comment on other food items since I only went there for a drink. I would go back if they have more of these specials.“

“It’s honestly a trek when you have to drive almost two hours from one side of town in Pasadena…. to be on the other side of town to get boba at Half & Half Tea House, in Rowland Heights (technically City of Industry but oh well, it doesn’t matter at this point). In fact, I was AMAZED at how they made their drinks. Not only were they cheap for their price, but everything came out to a decent price. Here’s my take:

Food/I got the fresh milk tea with honey, boba, and pudding. When I say this to you… the boba at Half & Half Tea House was absolutely delicious. The tapioca pearls were FRESHLY cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. The fresh milk tself was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness as I requested to give them. I could tell that they used high-quality ingredients in their drinks, as the flavors were so fresh and vibrant. Each sip was like a little taste of heaven.Not only was the boba incredible, but the service at Half & Half Tea House was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or make recommendations. They made sure that my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it, and even offered to customize it further if needed. The atmosphere in the store was warm and inviting, despite the fact I went in 15 minutes before they closed LOL.will say that the atmosphere wasn’t always the best, but they did have a lot of leeway so you could take your pictures on top of the table and post it for your IG or TikTok.Overall, my experience at Half & Half Tea House was fantastic. The combination of amazing boba and exceptional service made for a truly memorable visit. The next time that I’m in SoCal, I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious drinks in the future. If you're a fan of boba tea, this place is a must-visit!
