“We came here to celebrate mother’s days. Their food is very good. Service is a hit or miss. Their portions are getting a little bit smaller but the food is still very good. We usually order: shrimp with walnut, Crispy fried Chicken with Shrimp Chips, peasprouts & garlic, sweet and sour fish, broccoli mushroom and beef (yummy), and a claypot with eggplant. I would definitely come back .“

“Just came in to.pick up BBQ bake pork bun,sesame ball, cocktail bun sweet rice cake. To have with coffee when I get back home.the taste is the same. The price went up.and size of the BBQ buns are now smaller than before. Everything nowadays are like that..just get use to it .“

Carol and John treated us so well and we even received a complimentary Red Bean Soup for dessert that was so surprisingly sweet for a bean soup!!

It's a little bright in there but the lighting wasn't aggressive and the seating is in a beautiful space. Great date spot!“

“We came here to try the bbq fried rice. They are called a dim sum cafe but people who were eating here seemed to be ordering more a la carte/entree type dishes.
It looked like your typical restaurant in the area. Nothing fancy but pretty busy. Our bbq fried rice was fresh and tasty. Simple but satisfying and reasonably priced.“

“I love this place! Delicious har gow, bbq pork buns, and chicken siu mai. The dumplings have a delicious chewy texture, and the pastry/buns are always amazing. Everything tastes so fresh and it feels like they put a lot of care and love into their food. I like their Hong Kong milk tea as well!“

“Good Mong Kok Bakery is an authentic Chinese bakery located in the heart of San Francisco’s Chinatown. You know the food is the legit when the shop is run by hardworking grandmas who operate at lightning speed with minimal English exchange. Thankfully, there are plenty of photo menus to guide you, but I highly recommend having your order prepared on your phone. If you hesitate, they will skip right over you, and honestly, neither the staff nor the regulars have time for indecisiveness.

Everything here is delicious, from the deep-fried meat dumplings to the har gow dim sum to the steamed BBQ pork buns. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s fast, chaotic, and incredibly good, just the way a Chinatown bakery should be.“

Where I live we don’t really have quality dim sum options, so visiting here is critical :) This place is well priced, quick for service, and delicious. For visitors, unfamiliar with dim sum places, you gotta always bring cash. It’s cash only. I’ll definitely return soon“

“My Seafood Tofu soup came out quickly after I was served hot tea immediately. Everything is priced decent for the area. I was just in for a quick lunch so that is all I ordered, but when I come back I plan to try more of the menu. It was a good portion, full of seafood and yummy.“

“Delicious shrimp dumpling (although I had ordered the coriander), wheat man tou, and Chiu Chow style dumplings which seemed to have pork with bamboo shoots. They have tables for sitting but it's more of a takeout place with everything put into plastic bags.“

“Every time I stop by this place,I pick up 1 or 2 of their baked char siu bao. I usually finish them before I can walk 2 or 3 blocks away but hey they're meant to be enjoyed. It's not a typical char siu bao because this one has a sweet soft white crust on top that's almost reminiscent of a pineapple buns top. It costs $2 each and it's worth a try if you want to experience a variant on the char siu bao.

They were busier a few years ago, but the line is much shorter now compared to a few years ago after a competitor opened in the area. The scallion oil noodles just tasted like soy sauce, I don't recommend those. I do recommend the bbq pork buns, string beans, and pork sheng jian bao. The last two are a must order!“

“Authentic dim sum restaurant. We dine in and had some Shuman, shrimp rice noodle roll, and Custard bun. Food was great except the rice noodle roll was too much noodle and not enough shrimp. We ended up getting some more buns and dim sum togo.“

“We dined in Dynasty Dumpling after a show last night as it had good ratings on Google maps.
We were lucky to get parking right as we arrived. Mind you, there isn't much so bare that in mind.
We arrived within an hour of closing, and this place was still quite busy. We were seated promptly. The place is bright, decor inviting and clean.
Our jasmine tea came piping hot, which suited the cool night weather.
We proceeded to order our food. The two kind ladies running the table orders and service were very efficient and helpful to all the guests who were dining. There were 3 more groups who arrived after us plus at least 5 food delivery drivers and 3 people picking up their own orders. For context, we were seated in front of the cashier's desk and could see them coming and going.
Dinner was delicious Cantonese cuisine, contrary to some reviews. Our experience was perfect. I will let the pics of the food speak for themselves. My favorites were the dumplings, I must say. Both are very good from the dumpling wrapper/skin to the differently seasoned flavorful fillings.
Price was on point. The portions, definitely for sharing, we have plenty now for lunch today. The only pic missing is the seafood tofu soup, which also came piping hot and so delicious we forgot to take a pic.
We would definitely dine here again when back in the city.
Another plus is that the restrooms are kept very clean, for those wondering.“

“We loved just about everything we ordered here but I can only specifically remember (other than the pork ribs) that the buns were pork and the shumai were shrimp because otherwise we really just pointed at the items we wanted and ate without worry. We sat outside and food came out almost immediately. Definitely will be back.“
