“Came for lunch with my gran about a month after my grandfather passed. It was my gran's first outing since the funeral and i was worried but our server was this adorable silver haired woman named Rebecca. She had my Gran laughing the whole time. We ordered combos and the suggested jalapeño watermelon margaritas, which were spicy and refreshing. We needed a nap afterwards because we were too stuffed! My favorite items on the menu are Almond Croissant, Cream Broiler and Almond Cake plus all the rest of the pastry they make. “This is one of our very favorite restaurants in laguna beach. We used it frequently during COVID.. my friend Nancy and I lunched there about every two weeks..food and service is excellent. Unfortunately health issues has slowed us down. Nancy is recovering. My daughter takes me on our way back from my dr. Appt in Newport Beach. We love Mandarin King. It's run by family. Priscilla and her husband and their kids when they are on break from college. The food is delicious whatever we order. The service is A+ friendly staff.“

When we realized this location was closing in 10 minutes, we were hesitant to go in because the young lady was sweeping the floor. I work in a service industry as well so I understand how 'last minute' guests can be 😉. She was quick to make eye contact with us as soon as we walked in. She also stopped cleaning right away to service us with a smile. She was friendly & patient and said we would be able to get another coupon like the one we used for my birthday if we complete a survey. “I was originally planning to leave a 3.5 or 4-star review for Blaze Pizza, but something happened that encouraged me to change it to 5 stars. The quality of the pizzas was good for the price, although a part of the crust was slightly overcooked, and a bit more attention during baking would have helped. Still, overall, I’d say the quality was solid considering the price point.

In my order, I had included a Caesar salad, which I realized was missing when I got home. I called the restaurant to let them know, and after checking my email later, I saw they had refunded part of the cost. This level of customer service truly impressed me and convinced me to add that extra star.“

“Butter + Cream made our wedding cake experience so painless! They quoted us a very reasonable amount for our cake, compared to other similar bakeries. The tasting experience was very simple as well, they gave us a box with their different cake flavors and fillings so we could pick and choose our flavor combos. The employee who helped me in person was friendly and easygoing. We picked the cakes up so I can't comment on delivery services. The cake was lovely, moist, flavorful, and I'm so happy with our experience.“
