“Absolutely loved our experience at Pakka Local, San Roman.
My wife was delighted with the mutton – flavorful and perfectly cooked.
Every dish carried authentic taste and top-notch quality.
Manager Narendra was very humble and made us feel truly welcome.
A must-visit spot for great food and warm hospitality!“

“Just two people, one in the kitchen and one doing everything else. But they were so kind and welcoming. I never felt neglected. I had a fantastic beer I've never seen before (Kati Patang) and my saag was delicious and not oily. I would have liked it a little spicier but I can just request that next time. Truly wonderful experience all around and I can't recommend it enough.“

“Outstanding tasty and unusual Indian Fare. The vegetarian dishes were exceptional (except cauliflower, which was average). Service was wonderful and Jacob was particularly helpful. Amongst the best Indian we have had in the east bay. Slightly noisy“

“Absolutely outstanding experience! This Indian restaurant is a true gem in Las Vegas. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was beyond exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel like honored guests, checking in at just the right times and offering great recommendations.
The food was phenomenal: rich flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish was fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care deeply about both the cuisine and the customer experience.
Between the incredible food, inviting atmosphere, and hands-down the best hospitality we’ve experienced, this place stands out as one of the best Indian restaurants in Vegas. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back!“

“This is hands down the best South Indian restaurant in the Bay Area. Was just visiting Pleasanton for a week and happened to try it. Everything I ordered was made to order fresh. They even prepare the sambhar twice a day apparently to serve fresh.
Unfortunately I think branded A2Bs and Mylapores have impacted their business.
Give it a try and you’ll never try another restaurant. Their Medu Vada and Parota Kurma was my favorite. Also, prices are 30-40% less than the others“

“I recently tried pani puri and the tomato masala at the Bandiwala chaat (tabla restaurant). What stood out most was the freshness—the puris were crunchy, the ingredients tasted just-made, and the spicy water had just the right kick. Tomato masala was more like a churmuri. It had all the right textures and flavors, loved it. Definitely coming back here.“

“Tried 2 Karaa dosa, 1 Mylapore special dosa, 1 poori, 1 porotta, and 1 plate idly here. Idly was just ok. Poori with masala potato curry was really good, and the porotta was also good. Karaa dosa was spicy and the quantity was good. They served sweet for no cost which is very tasty like Annavaram prasadam. This gesture is very good. The Mylapore special dosa (with cheese and karaa) wasn’t as great as suggested by the staff—we were planning for 3 Karaa dosa but tried this instead, and it was a bit disappointing. At-last we had filter coffee and it is very good. They are also offering Coffee with Jaggery or Sugar. You can choose either of them.
Overall, poori and porotta were the best, and Karaa dosa is fine if you like it spicy.“

“A casual kinda place to go and eat. The food here however is delicious. The chow mein is so tasty!!! Loved the Momo’s too. I’m a big chicken tikka masala person and their’s did not disappoint!
My husband had lamb vindaloo which he really enjoyed also:) The garlic nan bread is one of the best I have had .
Portion sizes were good and we left feeling full and with plenty of leftovers.
This is probably my new go to place for Indian/Nepalese food.“

“I’ve been a frequent customer since the restaurant first opened, and I truly appreciate how they’ve consistently maintained quality over the years. I also like that they proactively offer chutney and sambar without customers having to ask.
However, today was disappointing for the first time. I visited during happy hours, and the sambar was extremely watery and lacked flavor, which prompted me to write this review. I hope this was just a one-off and that the restaurant continues to maintain its usual high quality.“

“We had food catered & delivered from them. All the food was authentic, super tasty, well packaged and presented. Everyone loved it & mentioned multiple times. I recommend them wholeheartedly. We ordered Chicken Curry, Dal Makhani, Paneer Veggie Sabji, Raita, Naan, Rice, Salad & Rose Kheer. Rose Kheer was so yummy. Chicken Curry tasted homemade Punjabi. It was delicious. Paneer Sabji & Daal were also very yummy. Spices were mild. You can't go wrong by ordering from them.“

“Super impressed by the hospitality offered by an 8 th grader. Food is delicious. Who makes the food maters as much as the ingredients. I would say both are well balanced here. Feeling the warmth of the host is not something you experience at every restaurant. Sitting arrangement is limited because its an upcoming place. Barring that there is nothing you may not like about the place.“

“I recently catered food from Hyderabadi Biryani House for a gathering of 20 people, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The packing was absolutely perfect—neat, secure, and kept everything hot and fresh.
Every single guest raved about the food! The spice level was just right, striking the perfect balance of flavor and heat. Their chilli chicken, fire cracking chicken, and dum biryani were truly mind-blowing—packed with authentic taste and aromatic goodness.
This is hands-down the best Indian food I’ve had in the Bay Area. Highly recommend for both catering and dine-in.“

“Lunch buffet is fantastic. Great price and selection. I tried everything and all are delicious. The complimentary chai is a great bonus. Will definitely come back and recommend the place to friends and family too!
Also ordered takeout a few times too. The popular dish like butter chicken, tikki masala, saag paneer are all well made!“
“We recently visited Baithak. It was a weekday so it wasn’t busy. Excellent, tastefully done interiors, friendly yet professional staff and absolutely delicious food. It is one of the very few indian restaurants in the area which has nailed mughlai flavors from Delhi.“

“Wonderful ambiance and great food. Been here for couple of times, and we had nothing but good experience. Once during a togo thali order the curries were too oily, greasy and quantities felt much less than dine in experience. However the dine in day curries were pretty good, the chicken curry and parata was good too. At the end, we had their masala butter milk which was excellent in taste but it was pricy for the quantity served.“

“Best Garlic Naan in the Bay Area—hands down. A must-try spot for anyone craving authentic Indian food. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with almost anything on the menu.
Their chaat is quickly becoming a local favorite—I first heard about it from a friend visiting from India, and even they said it tastes just like home. The Gobi Manchurian and Chole Bhature bring back true Delhi flavors.
If you’re looking for real Indian food, this is the place. And if someone left a 1-star review, they probably don’t know what authentic Indian food should taste like..“

“Excellent Buffet in the Tri-Valley Area This is one of the best buffets I’ve tried in the Tri-Valley. It offers a great variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, catering to diverse tastes. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. While the buffet is slightly more expensive than others in the area, the quality and variety make it well worth the price. One unique highlight is the inclusion of fresh sugarcane juice as part of the buffet—an uncommon and refreshing addition that really sets this place apart. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a premium buffet experience with a wide selection of dishes.“

“Yesterday was my very first time visiting Curry Pizza House, and honestly, it was the best pizza experience I’ve ever had! I met Nav, who took my order, and she was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.
I was a little nervous because I had to order a huge amount of pizzas for my friend’s birthday party — everyone was counting on me, and it felt like a big responsibility 😅. But Nav helped me choose the right pizzas, gave great suggestions, and made the whole process super easy.
When the pizzas arrived, they were absolutely amazing — every single one was delicious! All my friends loved them, and the party was a hit thanks to Curry Pizza House.
I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend everyone give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed! 🍕🙌“

“Oh my god this place is so delicious 😋 . I had tandoori chicken pizza. They have spicy ranch sauce and if you put the herbs and chili flakes on top of the sauce, it’s amazing! If you’re hungry, come in and eat it hot yummm! Come in and order the large pizza and you could go half-and-half, half tandoori chicken and half chicken tikka … seriously delicious!!!
Also the manager is a really nice guy… Lovejit! Great customer service😎“

“We had our first lunch buffet here and really enjoyed the experience. The place is nice and beautifully set up, and we were seated immediately. They had a good variety of dishes, and the food was tasty overall. It did feel like there were more vegetarian options, but the spread was still well balanced and enjoyable. We’d definitely consider coming back again.“

“Biryanz is a cool, no-nonsense place in San Francisco when you’re craving authentic Indian biryani. The flavors are bold, the spices are well balanced, and the biryani feels satisfying and comforting—just the way it should be. The rice is cooked well, the portions are generous, and the aroma hits you as soon as the plate arrives.
The vibe is casual and relaxed, making it a great spot for a quick meal or an easy catch-up with friends. It’s not overly fancy, but that’s part of its charm—the focus is clearly on good food.
Overall:
If you’re in the mood for solid Indian biryani without too much fuss, Biryanz is definitely worth checking out.“
