“This bustling place has been growing. I’d love to see one or two up North in Oregon. Good skate parks and beers. Or maybe I just have enjoy the SOCal that much.“

“WHAT A MEAL DEAL ! We stopped by for dinner after catching a movie last Wednesday.The Pulled Pork Sandwich & Fries + any beer on the menu board for just $12 was too good to pass up. Our sandwiches tasted great and the fabulous fries were freshly made even at after 7pm at night. I enjoyed both the IPA beers as my wife doesn't drink. Great service as always rom Kevin behind the counter .They have a meal deal here nearly every day so keep an eye out !“

“The top sections on the menu are 100% plant based, and the second half has meat options. It sounds like they used to be fully vegan, so it’s disappointing they added meat to the menu. I enjoyed the Munchwrap and the smash burger was pretty good. Next time I hope to try the flatbread—they currently have one plant based flatbread on the menu.“

“We came here with our dog on a rainy Saturday night. We were so glad to find a place with a covered patio. But then we were pleasantly surprised with how amazing the beer and pizza were. Duh. It’s in the name. lol. Anyhow there was some confusion about our pizza but Donny went above and beyond to make it right. It was a little hectic because it was so busy but if we weren’t visiting we’d definitely be regulars. Try the Detroit style hot honey, I’ll be dreaming about it.“

“I love this location. Been a handful of times. My first visit, was the first real time I have been introduced to Gluten Free beer. I have family friend who I believe is a “Celiac” and this brewery is one of the few that he can enjoy. I visited the Encinitas location, staff and vibe was off the day I went but here it’s always fun. Beer has gotten a little stale for me considering they always have the same product. So my only critique would be is experiment with more beers haha.“

“My husband and I have been here for the very first time and we immediately fell in love with this place. The staff is amazing, they know how to treat you and make you feel at home. From the moment you walk in, there’s a genuine sense of community. I met some amazing people and truly felt the family atmosphere that the owners have created. “Local Roots Solana Beach: clean, modern, and friendlier than a dog at a barbecue! Work or play, have it your way with rotating kombucha and chef's sushi menu. Wifi, TVs and indoor outdoor space make it ideal for people watching or mingling. “We ordered carne asada burrito, Buffalo wings and chicken flautas. They were all tasty. The carne asada was very meaty but a bit tough for me. Wings were a bit small but flavorful.

I have never seen chicken flautas look like short fat egg rolls before. Deep fried flour tortilla gave it a nice crispness except there was very little chicken inside. Still very good and interesting. I especially love that they had lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole on side. Very rare do you see this combo of topping.

Inside is divided by the bar area and dining area. Looks like a hip place to be after work.“

“After a long day of playing soccer, the entire team visited Notorious Burgers. We loved the appetizers, especially the brussels sprouts and fried pickles. They offered a variety of food for everyone’s liking. My cheeseburger was the black and blue, and it was heavenly. Next time we’re in Carlsbad, will be sure to eat there again Great spot!!!“

“One of the best breweries in California. So many great choices for beer and way more variety and creativity than most breweries. They are known for much more than just IPAs and always seem to have something interesting and different on tap.
And then…the pizza. Pizza Port has a reputation for a reason. The crust, sauce, and cheese are excellent, and they are very generous with toppings. Everything tastes fresh and done right. Highly recommend coming for the pizza or beer or even better, both!“

“A good tiki bar with a fun way to get in. Upper mid tier quality drinks. I'd say their bar program is above average for the tiki/vacation bars in SD. In my experience their drinks lean on the tart and/or boozy side of how tiki drinks go as opposed to some bars that emphasize sweetness or Spiced flavors.“

“Decent BBQ. Certainly nothing as the Texas likes of Terry Black’s or Franklin’s of the Austin area.

We decided to stop here because we were in the area and have frequented Enzo’s of Oceanside. What the heck…BBQ it is.

An appropriate location and good food for us today. Decent classic rock playing and cool decore.
