“This place is really cute and family -oriented. I have fallen in love with their mango cream empanadas. Tonight I had their Quinoa power green salad and their empanada for dessert. If you could go a little bit heavier on the quinoa, that would be amazing. Your veggie burger is healthy and delicious. I usually get takeout and that process is usually very smooth and simple.“

“It’s our annual place to be every August for the last 17 years: celebrating 50 years of marriage! The food, service and atmosphere right on the beach is heavenly. Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. Well worth the ride❤️❤️❤️“

“Monarch has the best pastrami sandwiches in San Diego. If you want a good meal, go to monarch for a pastrami sandwich and make sure to get a drink from Christina at the bar and Jack is a great server as well Xavier and Todd are phenomenal bartenders as well. They are very attentive and caring individuals. Really make you feel like you're at home when you're here at monarch Ocean pub. I'll definitely be back for another one.“

“Best pizza I’ve had in as long as I can remember!!! It was fantastic!!! Super friendly on the phone when they called confirming my Internet order (I’m really impressed they reached out to confirm - above and beyond great customer service!) and the delivery person was incredibly nice! Delivery was lightening fast. Highly recommend!“

“Very glad I found this place. It is a legit, Mexican taco shop with good prices, good portions, and good food. Many of the taco shops in the area are super overpriced and will give you a tiny burrito. Not this one. It's an honest taco shop and feels almost nostalgic since so few of these places exist in the area.“

“The Del Mar roll was the best sushi I have had in a long time and very filling! Ensui Sushi Bar and Grill stands up to their name. It is not the largest place, but it had 3 large TVs with March Madness on each one. I am so glad I found Ensui Sushi and will definitely be back!“

“Eating a lot of their food past four months through Grub Hub due to being unable to walk. It’s always excellent. Tonight’s was super excellent, chop suey with beef extra snow peas and Napa cabbage. Been cooking for over 60 years and this is one of the best and healthiest things I have ever eaten.
Also a bargain…one order is enough for three meals!!!

“I understand mistakes happen. I usually eat at this restaurant once a week after my late shift around 2/3 a.m. I noticed the quality of food got really bad. My meal was simple—a single patty cheeseburger with nothing on it. The first mess-up was the fries—they were burnt. Then the second mess-up: a burnt burger. Like, crispy burnt. Then my last and final straw—they served me a moldy burger that I thought was flour. Even my friends saw it and agreed after I sent them a picture. I ended up in the hospital. I called the manager, and he didn’t even offer a refund—said I was lying. I told him I’d send proof, and then he said no and hung up in my face. Not only is the manager rude and disrespectful, he cares little for his kitchen’s mistakes—and it cost me a day in the hospital. Cost me the only day I have with my son. All because his chefs are lazy and don’t care what they serve.“

“We've always had a good experience at the Del Mar location...some times better than others. Last night proved why it's our 'go to' steak house. Chip...the best waiter and everything that was supposed to be hot....was sizzling! Rose petals on the table for the anniversary and being apprised of the special meal and how we could add to it...which we did! Scotch and Malbec were imbibed and a good time was had by all!“
