“My favorite local Vietnamese restaurant. I always get their number 18 pho which is brisket and well done flank. This place is the only place around me that serves amazing food while being very affordable. Service is always welcoming and room is always filled with happy customers.“

Chicken pho - solid.
Prawn vermicelli noodles with fish sauce. The prawns were a bit overcooked so hard to peel but seasoned perfectly and huge! I didn’t enjoy my noodles as much as the prawns because I’m not a fan of this restaurant’s fish sauce. It’s lacking complexity… a bit of sugar and acid in their fish sauce would improve this dish tremendously.
House wontons - solid. Delicious on its own. Well seasoned so it doesn’t even need the sweet chili sauce that in came with In my opinion .
Eggrolls - meh. They smelled strongly of fish sauce. I would skip it if you didn’t grow up eating fish sauce; it stunk! What’s worse is the sauce that came with it is fish sauce too! I grew up eating egg rolls seasoned with salt to taste without a dipping sauce so this recipe is new to me.
Kumquat tea - it’s kumquat syrup so it tasted weird and overpowered the jasmine tea. I mainly tasted lemonade and the kumquat syrup. I should have asked if the tea was made from fresh squeezed kumquat juice, silly me… 🤦🏽‍♀️ skip this!
Fast service. Fried food arrives HOT so let it cool down first!
I will return to try their Lomo Saltado, pasta or, fried rice dishes.“

“Almost gave up on trying to like Pho, but this place just made me realize all the other places I’ve been too were simply mediocre. I got the brisket pho and it was AMAZING. My wife also tried the Shrimp with Vegan broth (she’s pescatarian) and also loved hers.

Environment was great too, very friendly staff and a very clean location. 10/10

I ordered the three roll special. I had the shrimp, pork sausage, and bulgogi beef. The shrimp roll was as expected, light, fresh, and tasty. The sausage was the best. It had the best flavor and really stood out. The beef was dry, okay flavor-wise, but oh so dry. Each roll had lettuce, shredded carrot, cilantro, cucumbers, mint, and garlic chives. These added crunch, texture, and a freshness that really was nice.

Service
Great, fast and efficient service. My order was correct in every detail.

“I tried this pho when they soft open. Pho was good, best in the area meaning Rowland and Hacienda heights. Our Viet food here in 91745 is medicare at best, until Phoholic opened and Arrived here. They can tone down on the sweetness a Bit too sweet for me. “I love bun and fortunately/unfortunately just recently tried the Hanoi version so I've been driving to Santa Ana/Westminster for my fix. I discovered this place opened close to home so finally got to give them a try today. I tasted the broth first thing when the dishes arrived and wow, what an unexpected flavor bomb! It's rich with umami and the smokiness of the grilled meat. The serving was a much more generous portion of pork and veggies/herbs than other places typically give so while it's pricier than usual, it's definitely holds it's value. Service was also great - I was greeted right away, they checked on me a couple times and they were sincerely friendly and accommodating.

It took us a while to order because there was so many different variety of delicious plates. The servers were very sweet and mindful of us. “This family-owned business usually never disappoints. We love the veggie pho because the broth is vegetable based, not chicken stock. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection and the portions are decent. On our last dining experience, we ordered the vegetable dumplings which came out very quickly. At first bite, I realized they were not vegetable but some kind of meat. While the place was busy, we couldn't find anyone to flag down fast enough before they delivered the correct order because the first one was chicken dumplings. “I went here earlier today, the server whose name was Kevin I believe was very quick and attentive. He make the service extremely quick and the experience very pleasent. “Friday 8/9/24 Dinner at Golden Noodle & Grill in Rowland Heights. I’ve ordered #38 Roasted chicken on tomato rice. It is so crispy outside flavorful and tender inside; so delicious. This restaurant is a hidden gem which makes delicious Vietnamese foods with reasonable prices.

Long, service staff, was friendly and attentive to customers.

Van Huynh, restaurant owner & chef, has a great personality and cooks delicious Vietnamese foods. Dishes includes pho, broken rice, vermicelli, Chinese noodle soup, chow fun & mein, congee, Banh mi, Vietnamese deserts, milk shakes, and smoothies; all at a reasonable price. She took her time to greet me and even strike a pose for a photo which is posted on her Google map restaurant. Thank you Van!

The restaurant has nice decorations, clean, well lit, and well air conditioned on this warm day.

“Located across the street from Mt Sac, the place has great pho. Good variety, decent pricing, and the location is clean. Our family goes there from time to time as we believe it is one of the better pho options in the immediate Walnut area. Parking is decent as well as it is a plaza.“

“As someone who is particular about Thai food, Thai Seven in Downtown Brea genuinely impressed me. This is one of those hidden gems where you can immediately tell there is real attention being paid to the kitchen.

The first thing that stood out was the aroma—the unmistakable fragrance of a properly fired wok, with that smoky depth that gives Thai cooking so much character. The Spaghetti Kee Mao was exceptional: aromatic, savory, beautifully seasoned, and full of wok-fired flavor without being overwhelmed by sauce.
