“I recently tried Koki Ku Sushi, a newer Japanese restaurant in Duarte, and came away pleasantly surprised.

I stopped by for their lunch special and found the service attentive and welcoming throughout the meal. The 5-piece chef's choice premium nigiri was fresh and enjoyable, with each piece offering a nice variety of flavors.

I also ordered the Salmon Teriyaki with Spicy Tuna Roll combo. The teriyaki salmon was flavorful, although the slices were a bit thinner compared to what I've had at other sushi spots. The spicy tuna roll was generously portioned and filling enough to make for a satisfying lunch.

The restaurant itself has a clean, modern design and is conveniently located in the Target plaza, where parking is plentiful and easy. Overall, Koki Ku Sushi is a nice addition to the Duarte dining scene, and I'll be back to try more items from their menu.”

It had been a long time and it was still delicious. I got a bento box, my son got ayce.
I feel like the empty cubby in my bento box could have been filled with a wedge of orange or a few edamame. And most olaces will also give a couple of tempura veggies not just the shrimp. I did get a lot of salmon.”

“The cookies are pretty good, something I can buy elsewhere but it's fun popping in to Crumbl. I do think it's overpriced but I guess it could be worse. Definitely a fun place to go for a mid date snack.”

“Came by because I was craving for Hong Kong style cafe food. This is a hidden gem in the area. There is a small parking lot available. This is a small cafe, and it is very clean. Service was fast. We ordered half roast duck, beef chow fun, Hong Kong style “yin yeung,” and iced orange tea. Food was amazing. The beef chow fun was a little bland, but it became flavorful after we added a bit of soy sauce. Price was reasonable. Will come by and try other dishes next time.”

Chef, cook(s) begin their work day at around 4am daily I believe , that's how devoted that person Vidalito Is to his patrons. He surprised me and my husband ( we are elderly) with 2 extra burritos ( for free!) I could barely lift the bag! The burritos at thela paloma are stuffed to maximum capacity😋 they are big!! We have never actually been able to finish one at one sitting. I have never seen such output food production come out of a restaurante pequeno..little restaurant. The Spanish people The Spanish, Hispanic workers are simple easygoing & down to earth”

“Food was amazing. Reminded me of my favorite Chinese restaurant growing up, Nams in San Gabriel. The egg foo young was amazing and the BBQ pork had just the right amount of sweetness and was tender. The Kung po chicken was out of this world! They have paper wrapped chicken and the memories came flooding back. It's not fancy, but friendly and family atmosphere. Highly recommend!”

“Unfortunately, major changes by new owners. I doubt I can give it another chance. My food was horrible! All of the original staff is gone. No entertainment. I wish them well. But, I'm moving on.”

“I was there for a 30 yr old birthday with a friend and it was a nice atmosphere Kareoke was good lots of nice voices ( I can make a choir out of them) LOL. All in all it good. But I left early cause I don't like staying out to late so 10ish was a good time to go home.”
