“Nilekha made a WWE theme cake for us, which looked and tasted really good. everyone loved it! I highly recommend her”
“Best sushi I’ve had in the east bay!!! The fish is extremely fresh & sashimi pieces are generous. Happy hour prices can’t be beat! My favorite sushi restaurant by far!”
“This family restaurant is an absolute gem!
The food is delicious, the customer service is incredibly personal (the owner is a sweetheart!), the decor is authentic, and the prices are excellent. Its convenient location truly makes this establishment one of a kind. I highly recommend this spot.”

“I ordered to go and was able to choose from a very comprehensive list of ingredients. When I arrived, I was greeted by two friendly and kind staff who were busy working away. It was quite busy on a weekday around lunch time. As for the food, the soup was delicious and they were very generous with the ingredients. I got the classic bone broth in spicy and it was perfect for a cold rainy day after suffering from the flu. I highly recommend this restaurant because of the friendly atmosphere and will be coming back when the craving for hot noodle soup kicks in.”
“First time in and was very impressed with the Ban Mi with grilled pork. Completely stuffed with ingredients you would expect along with a fresh bread! Excellent! Also had an iced Vietnamese coffee which lived up to my expectations as well!
I will be back again next time I am in Bay Area!”
“If you’re craving bold flavors and fiery heat, Dave’s Hot Chicken delivers a punch that’s hard to forget. This fast-casual spot specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken, and it does so with serious flair.
The menu is simple but effective—tenders and sliders ranging from “No Spice” to “Reaper,” a level that literally requires a waiver. I went with “Hot” and “Extra Hot,” and both hit the perfect”
“Ike’s is always love. We were super hungry and craving for something delicious when we bumped into Ike’s. We ordered Steve Jobs, our usual favorite which isn’t on the current menu, the guy was like “Steve Jobs” but he took the order. Upon checking, he mentioned it isn’t on the menu but they can do it. It’s done on of the best we had, finger licking delicious I say. Ike’s never disappoints and so is this location. Keep it up.”
“I consider myself to be a breakfast burrito afficianado and the non-traditional Korean BBQ pork breakfast burrito with avocado I had at this place was among the best breakfast burritos I have ever eaten. I am just sad this place is so far from my house or I would get breakfast here as often as I could… the eggs were divine and the combination of flavors perfect. I would really like to try their other sandwiches and breakfast burritos as well… makes me look forward to the next time I bring in our Toyota for scheduled maintenance!”
“My boyfriend and I always come to this place for the beef & chicken Bulgogi as well as the occasional fried chicken. Great service from Heather. Will be coming back!”
“Very tasty food. Completely blown away by the taste of the skewers. The grilled oysters are especially superb. Highly recommend for people to come and try. The skewers are tender and perfectly seasoned.”
“If you want to score the 10 points limit I will play 5 points, the meat is OK, other general, but the soup bottom is very salty, the soup bottom of the hot pot should be light because the meat and other are to be with sauce, the hot pot soup bottom is too salty will let the guests drink a lot of water, so enjoy the fun of food on the big discount, may not patronize!”

“I recently started going back to this place. And, the few times that I have been there to pick up my food it is always clean, and they are cooking food getting ready to serve customers or fill orders that are ready to be filled. I forgot how big it was inside so there is plenty of room for a large party or group of folks. Pretty much the food that I have tried there is pretty good and you can't go wrong. If you are looking for a good meal w pretty fast service...you are safe going here. You may want to consider calling in your order so that it's ready to go upon your arrival..for a quicker lunch option. Just a thought for those of you in a hurry. Good luck and enjoy. Cheers.”
“I bought 2 plain croissants, a small rectangle pastry with berries, and a very small square pastry with raspberries on top. I also got an iced mocha latte. I eat healthy and this was a wonderful treat! The croissants flaky, tiny bit dry. the mocha latte (w/almd milk) was very good, the small is a decent size, nice for a “dessert” but not overly sweet. They packaged everything so nicely. It’s nice to eat there but I took it to go this time. 😁👍🏽”
“You don't go for the atmosphere, you go for the dogs. I'm not saying it was the best hot dog in the world (though it was definitely tasty) but service gave them that 5th star because they heard me talking about the possibility of chili on my dog and asked if I wanted to try it. The extra mile of service.”
“Wow! Ok, it was a little expensive, but TOTALLY WORTH it. Dim sum all day! Their Dim Sum menu was so nice that I didn't want to write on it 😁 Food was amazing! Nice BIG pieces. Delicious. Perfect. Service was attentive. Private restrooms, not stalls - and very clean. They were using just one hall at lunch but they looks like they have seating for very large parties. Check out the pictures I took.”

“Loved the calamari. Husband loved the mixed udon soup which stayed hot for a while in its metal bowl. The Phoenix roll was good also , (the fried soft crab had a little bit of metallic taste to it). We both agreed the kabocha tempura was the best--the taro and sweet potato were ok. Will have to return to try more things including lunch specials. The menu is quite extensive and has items I have not tried before elsewhere. Great value: food for price. This was a great find. The shopping center has many other Asian restaurants.”
“88 Bao Bao in Pleasanton is a standout for authentic eats—one of the best I’ve come across in my travels. The food is fresh, hot, and fairly priced, with a menu worth exploring. Friendly, attentive service adds to the experience. If you’re hungry, come ready to try it all. Wish this place existed nationwide!”
“Perfection of Turkish and Mediterranean food. Me and my wife did give up on the Mediterranean seafood until we went to Bodrum. I am writing this review after my 3rd visit just to make sure the quality and taste are consistent.
I would extremely recommend this place. If you are not driving, try the white Turkish liquor!”
“I recently visited Hana Japan with my family, and we had a blast! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was so welcoming. Our chef was super entertaining, showcasing impressive skills while cooking everything to perfection. I loved how interactive the whole experience felt, and the flavors were incredibly vibrant! This is more than just a meal; it's what a Japanese steak house should be. Definitely coming back!”
“Ok, if you have never had amazing mapo tofu or laziji (fried chicken pieces in dried chilis), two of my favorite Sichuan cuisine dishes, you HAVE to order these two dishes from this place, plus a bowl of rice. Phenomenal flavor, they hit it spot on with the best that we have had in Beijing, the only other place that can compare is Tasty Szechuan in Hayward, so of course we are happy there is a closer place to us in Dublin. Need to have it made spicy, or the tofu lacks the right flavor. The pain is worth the flavor! Their green onion pancakes are not good, but their gan bian sijidou (stir fried green beans) are super good, as well as their eggplant dish (if you like a slightly sweet flavor). Just thinking about those 2 dishes gets me salivating! Oh and then if you want the best milk tea, get it from nearby Feng Cha - regular black tea mill tea, don’t add any toppings, no ice, 75% sweetness (or 50% if you like it with just a touch of sweetness), sooo good, better than most places we tried in Taiwan. For $6, so much more worth it than all the mediocre ice cream places I have tried around here (still have not found an amazing local creamery). Enjoy!”
“Good options are available. This place was recommended and did not disappoint. The chicken and gyro pitas are good. The bowls have a good portion of food as well. Your orders are freshly made as well.”

“Are you Team Hot Pot OR Team Dry Pot? If I can't have both, then I'm prob Team Dry Pot when it comes to malatang! For those who love building their own bowls, you have to bookmark this place! The concept is fun and simple. Grab a bowl, fill it with ingredients you want, weigh it (they charge by weight), then let the cashier know your pot preference (soup or dry) and spice levels.
The spice levels are serious here, so be ready to break a sweat. They have a little sauce bar too which adds a nice touch to both types of bowls. Pricing is fair here, especially if you get mostly meat, and I definitely had enough leftovers for another meal to take back.”

“Walking into the location, it's usually clean and nicely decorated with a unified theme of one piece. However, despite the 100+ degree weather outside, they didn't have the AC on, making it quite uncomfortable to sit inside for long. The Mango Snow is amazing – a refreshing icy/creamy drink with a strong mango flavor. Warning: The Matcha Drink, however, is disappointing; it was so bad that another customer threw theirs away and told their partner it was horrible”
“Good food, friendly service, fun times. But when your table is done, move your crew along so others can also enjoy it!! We waited extensively even with a reservation. It stresses the staff and the system and prevents the restaurant from serving more patrons!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Workers were extremely kind and patient, we took time to decide our slice and he remained patient and smiling, he also gave us the largest slices. They give out free coupons for a drink with an order of 3 slices, the worker gave us an extra large drink instead of a normal size, he was again extremely kind. Great place with amazing atmosphere, highly recommend.”
“Good food and spiritual too”
“This was from our last visit to Cakes and Bakes in Dublin to pick up an eggless Butterscotch cake, and it was a great experience overall. The location has ample parking, so we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot, which made the quick stop even more convenient.
The Butterscotch cake itself was delicious, and we appreciated that they offer an eggless version, which can be hard to find in many bakeries. The cake was rich, moist, and had that classic butterscotch flavor we were looking forward to. Kudos to Cakes and Bakes for catering to those with dietary preferences without compromising on taste!
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, unfortunately, the baker wasn’t available to write a message on the cake. It was a small letdown since we were hoping for a personalized touch, but overall, the quality of the cake and the convenience of the location made it a positive experience. I’d definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a good eggless cake option in Dublin!”
“We ordered 6 dishes and everything was very good (taste and portion). This is the best restaurant (for casual dinner at East Bay area (Oakland, San Leandro, Hayward, Castro Valley, Union City, and Fremont).
There were many customers yesterday (Saturday) so go early to avoid the line if you want come to try.”

“Hands down one of my best meals I’ve had in the city……. The food here is just amazing, the appam and mutton masala were just fantastic, I could give this place a 10/10 for sure.
The service attentive and smooth at all times, John was very very helpful at all time in explaining and helping us through the menu….. going to be back here again n again n again…..”

“I loved the tostada I got. Good amount of meat and toppings and definitely didn't skim. Definitely comparable prices to other taquerias in the area, and the salsa bar is great (would love an avocado salsa though). Interesting to see how they cater to the local population by not serving carnitas, having a large vegetarian menu and also offering paneer in place of meat, which is fine because I don't like carnitas. Will definitely return since this is close to the bus stop!”
“It’s a small place but that is what I really liked. Great service and cozy atmosphere. The beer quality was great and I got a chance to try a variety of beers before getting one I liked the best. Just the experience I was looking for. Highly recommended. You must try it.”
“The San Leandro location has very bad service 😡 on several occasions they have given me the wrong burgers and the worst thing is that they throw everything away
Parking: The place is good but the parking lot is small
Kid-friendliness: If it is very familiar
Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah. Has space for wheelchairs”
“My first experience at Gong Cha Dublin was fantastic! The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was so confused about what to order for my first boba tea, but he kindly suggested some great options. So far, I’ve tried four different boba teas based on his recommendations, and I’ve loved every one of them. I can’t wait to come back and try more! The warm and inviting atmosphere makes it even better. Highly recommend this place!”
“Historic location in Dublin! The legend continues with life long resident Phil and his rockin wife Marta... slinging great drinks, great prices, and awesome live music. I never thought one of 2 staple dive bars of Dublin would get such a great facelift, but it is better than ever!”
“I have been here multiple times for both pickup and dine in. I love their Thai spicy fried rice. The portion size is very generous and it tastes delicious. Their noodles and curry are also good. It’s run by a mom and pop and their customer service is what sets them apart. So sweet and attentive!”
“I just went today, and this one lady that took my order at the front was suuper nice! She wasn't rude, or harsh too! I love the atmosphere, although I think it could be a little bit more decorated just to make the ambience more at home. The food is really, really good too. I thought the portions would be small, but they are absolutely MASSIVE. I got the Flaming Hot Cheeto Potato Mozzarella Hot Dog which was rlly good for only $6.99, and the cheese pull was a 10/10 for sure! If you're around the place, I def recommend u stop by! :)”
“I eat here like 4 times a week! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. They never mess up my order, never forget to put the salsa in the bag. All the employees are super nice, always offer extra things to add to the order and the manager Elena is top tier. She always makes sure to make it personal and welcoming it feels like I'm going to my moms house. I never thought I'd say that about a fast food place haha but I just love them here. 10/10 recommend.”
“After searching for healthy options in the area this came up on my search and found the website and after reading Mary’s story I was game to give it two weeks. First off the food is top notch it’s so delicious and creative. There has not been a meal that has not been amazing. Mary herself is an amazing top notch person who goes the extra mile to alter the menu to your needs. She offers so many options to help cater to her customers. I wish her and her business the absolute best. I’m am very very happy to have found her and look forward to picking up my meals each week.I just ordered three more weeks and plan on continuing while I’m out in California.Honest reviews by KS”
“I have been many different Happy Lamb Hot Pot restaurants in the bay area. This one has the best service! Not like some other places that once you order for the first round the they seem to ignore you or act like did not see you even they were not busy. The waiters here actually serve the food pretty fast, and they do actually come and ask how was the food and anything else to order.
The lamb meats, lamb shank are good, the sides and sauces from the counters are pretty fresh and neat.
We ordered premium, half and half pot with spicy and original. Seems like this location had a more tastier soup based instead of super salty soup based. But… the most important thing is… same for all other locations, the lamb shank is now only limited to 1 order per 2 person. We love the lamb shank, it is a must order every time we come here. Now we have to share 1 lamb shank… sad…
Anyways! I love this location more, I will for sure come back again!”
“Employees treated us amazing, our daughter had a bit of a melt down at the end and they gave her a sucker and a stuffed animal to make her feel better. Overall amazing experience”

“One can tell at a glance that Lisa's cakes are gorgeous. The best surprise is they're also delicious! I had the pleasure of tasting 2 of Lisa's cakes along with her cupcakes before I ordered my own. That made our decision more difficult - what flavor? Know that it's impossible to go wrong. Delectable art. ?”

“If you're searching for authentic Korean BBQ in the Bay Area, Seoul Jung in Dublin is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, the experience was warm, welcoming, and deliciously memorable. The ambiance is cozy and relaxed perfect for a casual night out or a celebratory dinner with friends.
We ordered the beef brisket, bulgogi, and pork belly, and the quality of the meat blew us away. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully marinated. What really stood out was the tableside grilling experience fun, interactive, and full of that signature KBBQ aroma we all love. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, offering help with grilling and explaining each dish with a smile.
We also tried the hot pot, which came bubbling with a spicy gochujang broth, tender beef, and plenty of veggies—it was comforting, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the BBQ. The banchan (Korean side dishes) were generous, constantly refilled, and packed with flavor. From kimchi to pickled radish to japchae, each side dish added something special to the meal.
Portions were generous, prices fair for the quality, and the overall experience was one of the best I’ve had in a Korean BBQ restaurant outside of LA or Korea itself. Whether you’re a KBBQ regular or trying it for the first time, Seoul Jung is 100% worth the visit. Can’t wait to go back!”

I am just sad this place is so far from my house or I would get breakfast here as often as I could… the eggs were divine and the combination of flavors perfect.
