“Had an outstanding dinner with my husband and friends last night. First my husband and I started at the bar for cocktails, chips & salsa. Roberto was friendly& had quick service! We got our chips and salsa immediately. I had a strawberry margarita and my husband tried the jalapeño & cucumber spicy margarita. Drinks were great! Roberto checked on us many times, as he made his rounds to check on everyone at the bar. He made us feel welcomed!
When our friends arrived we were quickly seated at our table. Poppi was our waitress. She was also amazing! She was very patient with us, as we weren’t in a hurry. She was very friendly, helpful, and quick! We all ordered another round of drinks. Eventually we ordered food and we all enjoyed it! I appreciate that they have gluten free items labeled on their menu!! I got the quessaburria tacos. Others order shrimp tacos, fajitas, and enchiladas. We were very impressed with how quickly we got our food! Everything was delicious! Thank you Roberto & Poppi for giving us a fun kid free night out!“

“From the outside it looks like a dive. I love a good dive. But one step inside and your olfactory nerves transport you to Vegas. Maybe the Cosmo, maybe the Venetian. Either way it’s amazing. Then the smell of grilled hot dogs, it must be Slots of Fun… next order whiskey and they have my absolute favorite: Writer’s Tears. Come visit Nicole.

“It’s very rare I leave a review for a bar. If ever. But this one is well deserved.

I was staying up the street and had a long couple days, so wanted a chill place to have a drink.

I stumbled upon a fantastic local watering hole, where you can tell the same folks come here, and for good reason. Good ambience, a few bar games, a digital jukebox, reasonable drink prices… but the service is where this place really hooked me.

(Forgive the spelling) Saren was my bartender and made me feel at home. As a career bartender, I can be somewhat hyper-critical of service from a fellow tender. She not only takes the time to talk to you individually, but immediately turns on the fast-paced service when the bar inevitably picks up when the place across the street lets out from an event.

I recommend this bar to anyone whether a group or individuals. There’s enough to do, people to talk to, and the service is second to none. I’ll be sure to book my next stay in the Bay close to here on purpose moving forward.“

“This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I were visiting Danville today and stopped by this restaurant for dinner. The menu is delightful & the meal was delicious. This is a family owned business, and the owner spent much time traveling and working in hospitality overseas in a variety of different places,. The menu really highlights his comfort, creativity, and expertise in different cuisines. There were so many unique items to choose from, and one of the things I loved was that they had many gluten-free options clearly labeled on the menu. I highly recommend checking it out!“

“Visited Crush'd for my birthday and it exceeded expectations! The atmosphere was great and you can tell the everything is well thought out, from the decor to the tableware.

We both went with a wine flight and had excellent recommendations from Jamie. Decided to splurge on the sturgeon caviar and it was served with the perfect accoutrement, highlight of the evening. Our server Shane recommended the duck fat potatoes (the Aioli was mindblowing) and Wagyu Tartine, both were fantastic!

“I attended an event at Aracely lounge last week and was blown away, not only by the beautiful ambience, but also the warm hospitality, and incredible food. I think it was the best avocado toast I've ever had in my life. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go back!!!“

“The food was delicious and quick to arrive. Service was okay. It wasn't very busy and the waiter didn't check in on us often so we would have to flag someone down for water refills. The busser was clearing the table as we were sitting there and would reach his hand out to each person waiting for us to hand him our dishes.“

“I almost didn’t want to share my review because I don’t want this place to get super packed lol. But this is the only place with the best and delicious happy hour special within the bishop center. Trust me, all the other ones are way over priced even for their “happy hour” prices. I only come here for drinks so I can’t review the food. I highly recommend the golden state margarita and the ambikas grove! Ps happy hour is from 4-6. You’re welcome “

“Last Friday evening our party of 8 celebrated a warm and jubilant birthday, early Father’s Day party. From our arrival to our leaving the entire staff greeted us like family. All of our appetizers, Sushi-Rolls, were delicious! We all loved our Entrees-our seafood was expertly prepared!

“I tried Tides for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Had the oysters, steak skewers, crab cakes and sea bass. The food was very good, although the steak skewers and crab cakes were only moderately warm upon arrival. Sea bass was excellent; but definitely could have been bigger for the price point. Oysters were on point and excellent as well. Amazing service by the waiter as well as well as the hostess. The birthday card and complimentary dessert were a nice touch. Upscale, trendy interior. “We went with another couple and ended up with two separate reservations. The host team texted and called ahead, then seated us together without any drama. That alone earned them points before the food even arrived. The pizzas were the star. The crust is light and crisp with that Roman-style snap, and the toppings were dialed in rather than piled on. We did a classic margherita and one of the spicier options, and both disappeared fast.  Pastas were well-seasoned and cooked right. Our table shared a pappardelle and a penne, both with rich sauces that didn't feel heavy. Salads were fresh, especially the beet and farro style one with plenty of texture. We also tried a seasonal soup that was warm and balanced, not salty, and a nice counterpoint to the pizza. Drinks were a plus. There is a good mix of Italian and California wines, and the cocktail list is worth a look if you like something beyond the usual suspects.  Service stayed on top of everything, water refills included, even though the room was busy. The dining room is lively and the patio looked great for a longer catch-up night.  Bottom line, Delarosa is an easy recommend for a double-date or group dinner when you want reliably good pizza, solid pastas, and friendly people who actually read your reservation notes. If you care about the style, this is Roman-style pizza, not the heavy stuff, which explains why we had room for dessert.“
