“Tonight (6/24/24) my mother came in to order some sandwiches for me, my husband and her, my husband can’t eat gluten so he always gets their gluten free bread when ordering, well my mom called and told me that when she asked for the GF bread the woman working started to clean off all the counters and equipment for about 15 minutes she said she scrubbed and cleaned it all including the slicer as to reduce the amount of cross contamination from the regular bread, even tho she had a small line she still took the time without being asked to do that, I wish I was there to thank her for that because no else ever at any location we have purchased from has taken the time to make sure his sandwich was ok to the best of their abilities to eat, it was extremely kind of her I don’t know her name but if that was you tonight THANK YOU! You need a raise!“

“I lived in Mission Beach yrs ago & in Old Mission was a Jersery Sub Shop & I have looked & looked all over S.D. for one that would be as good & I finally found Jersery Mikes. The first one I went to was in Merritta the other side of Temecula then when I came back to El Cajon I found the one on Broadway. haven't tried the one in Rancho S.D. yet ,I'm sure going to next time I'm over that way. So far they have been the closest to the one in Mission Beach. OK!“

“I have eaten at this Subway many times. And I want to say that the staff makes it an enjoyable experience every time I only remember one lady's name unfortunately and that is gabby. She is an absolute sweetheart. I've spoken with Gabby often and the manager the manager is always engaging and conversational. And just such sweet people as well two different girls that work at night time both of them are amazingly kind and patient with all customers. Truly the surrounding businesses can take a few lessons from this restaurant. Every time I visited there, I've never had a problem with the food. The sandwiches are always awesome.
Now, this doesn't have anything to do with the restaurant or staff but corporate, I guess.
For a footlong sub and a fountain drink you're looking at probably around 17 dollars. Think about that Subway corporate for a sandwich and a soda 17 bucks and if you're a good person a $3 tip so round it up to 20 bucks $3 well spent and because of the kindness and customer service and a damn good sandwich I can turn my head to 17 dollars.
P.S. a few of these other reviews need to be looked closer at because that is not at all how I have ever seen things done at this restaurant. I've gotten to know the entire staff quite well and a few of these pictures just don't add up. I will say they do get pretty busy at certain times. But trying to find a place with BOTH amazing customer service and good food all in one place is sadly becoming a thing of the past. They manage it though, so if you have to wait an extra couple minutes be thankful, I always am!!!!!“
