“my go-to burrito place. Always friendly service. I like my burritos very spicy, and la estrella is one of the few places that will go as heavy on the habanero as I like. Super fast if you order over the phone, too. I mostly eat vegetarian and they make a very good veggie burrito. The fish is good, too.“

“Authentic Burmese food in the city. I have tried a couple of Burmese restaurants and this place is hands down the closest to what I've tasted in Burma. Hot Burmese tea, beef curry, and biryani just like you would get for a traditional celebratory event in Burma. Go try!“

“Love this little shop! So convenient and they always have fun seasonal flavors like basil syrup. I normally do some sort of matcha and theirs is one of the best in the area. Made properly and with customizable sweetness. The baristas here are always super friendly and quick as well!“

“This is my third time working with Tumi and her team at Thai Rice Spoon. Tumi and I first connected back between 2014 and 2018 when I was planning college formals, and we’ve stayed in touch over the years for major life milestones, like my sister’s bridal shower. Most recently, in May 2026, I reconnected with her to cater a company event for AAPIHM.
Her professionalism, energy, kindness, and personable touch are unmatched. Every single dish from Thai Rice Spoon is delicious, and the staff is incredibly punctual with delivery. Tumi always finds a way to work within our budget and is a absolute joy to collaborate with. I’m already looking forward to partnering with them on future events!“

“Dabao is DaBOMB. Went for dinner there last night. I am visiting from Vancouver and so needed to try tried all of Emily’s signature plates. Each plate was better than the next. Flavorful, fresh and just absolutely delicious. And the spicy condiments were sooo good. This is not your average food court fare. Not only is this the best option at the Metreon, it’s up there with the best options in town. They also cater and you can order through all the delivery apps. Try it and you will not be disappointed.“

“I recently had Jason cook for my 40th birthday backyard/pool party for ~18 adults and he was phenomenal! Not only are his paellas and tapas incredibly tasty, he is also an all around great person. We had the paella Valencia moderna and the vegetarian paella and both were excellent, even better than the paellas I have had in Spain. My friends/family are still raving about his food! The presentation of everything was very impressive and really elevated the already exceptional flavors of all the food. The booking process was also seamless, Jason is an excellent communicator and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Chef Jason and his paella for your next special gathering! Thank you again Jason! :)“

“Bueno, bonito, y vegano. It was awesome. The fried tofu is crisp and has a great texture that's flakier than most. Crispy and flavorful. I have seen so many amazing vegan restaurants die off because it's just not a popular diet, so i totally get why it's only available Saturdays, but wow do I wish it was a mainstay“

“We had a wonderful meal here! I got carne asada which was my favorite and queso birria which was good as well. My dad loved the shrimp tacos. The back patio is the perfect place to watch the World Cup! Absolutely keeping this place on my list of favorites! And they were exceedingly accommodating, my dad is allergic to cilantro and they accommodated him completely!“

“Margaret catered a vegan-only meal for our Buddhist meditation group gathering in Pleasant Hill, serving around 40 people, and it was absolutely perfect. She was very mindful of our dietary needs and created a calming, nourishing menu that included Japanese and Asian-inspired dishes like miso-glazed vegetables, sesame noodles, marinated tofu, brown rice, and fresh fruit. The food supported the tone of our retreat and was beautifully presented without being flashy. Many attendees commented on how grounded and satisfied they felt afterward. Margaret truly understands intentional, plant-based catering.“

“Nice little date spot with a cozy vibe. Food was good and the service was quick and friendly throughout the night.
We tried:
• Pad Thai Tofu — recommend but their Tofu isn’t deep fried like some other places. Maybe Inquire or push for this if it’s important.
• Mushroom Dumplings 🥟 — also recommend
• Mango Sticky Rice — decent; not the best I’ve had, but still enjoyable
• Deep Fried Veggie Rolls — pretty good
• Thai Iced Tea — solid and refreshing
Overall, we had a nice experience. The food was tasty, service was attentive, and it’s a great casual spot for a date night.“

“I came here for the smashburger, but i guess they dont do lunch untill later in the day. I ordered a breakfast sandwich instead, and it was really good! Hopefully i can try the lunch menu one day but i dont think it lines up with my work schedule. 🙃 will be comming back for breakfast though.😇“
“Burke & Black served it up for us at our event. We had unique, rich, and amazing charcuterie boards for our Black & Brown Founders Fundraiser. I was hosting the event and when I finally got a chance to eat, everyone was actively grazing over the options and trying everything. I was feeling impatient about not being able to get to the food, but happy to see everyone enjoying it. Nicole is amazing and she really picked some unique varieties that come together so well. Based off our experience at our fundraiser event, I highly recommend her.“

“Wonderful experience with the Revel meal delivery! The food was DELICIOUS and prepared perfectly. The whole family (including 5 kids) enjoyed it! The menu was creative and I could customize our order - double orders of protein and single orders of vegetables. They provided a touchless delivery with all of the items clearly labeled with ingredients (in case someone in your house is dealing with allergies) and clear instructions on how to finish the preparation. And to top it off, not only was the delivery on time, they texted me with a 20-minute heads up text so I would know exactly when my delivery would be on my door stop. The price for the amount of food we got for 60+ guest was just the right price. Great service, friendly staff and every detail was taken care of.
