“A great place. The chef and his wife are from the old school of Japanese preparation. You can feel the quality time the chef has put into your meal. When in the area, I tend to eat here!!! It reminds me of the time I lived in Tokyo my first home.“

“I have known the owners for decades. They had two amazing restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area where I was a regular customer. Over the years that followed it was more. We became lifelong friends. I have never had a morsel of food prepared by them that was anything less than excellent and flavorful. I couldn’t wait to get to the opening of the new space there in Elk Grove. It meant a long drive down from Oregon for me now. But it was completely worth the trip. All the best to you as a Family! Today it was the Teriyaki combo, Spicy Tuna roll, edamame and miso. Fabulous! As always. Next time I think I need to try the Eel bowl, Negi Hamachi roll and Rainbow roll.“

“I have eaten here on three separate occasions, and am convinced this Japanese restaurant is a level above the rest in Elk Grove. My sons are both fans of sushi and they agree that the quality and preparation is better than they've had at other places. I have enjoyed their beef Udon soup and their shrimp tempura and salmon teriyaki all on separate occasions. My only suggestion to improve the atmosphere is to never have the news on the television. We will definitely be back!“

“Fukuro by KRU in Sky River Casino is a great Japanese restaurant with reasonable prices. I have tried the rainbow rolls and hamachi nigiri here. They’re very fresh and delicious. The gentleman who works at the cashier counter is very friendly. I like the dining room at Fukuro by KRU. It is very comfortable and I really enjoyed my sushi there.

Parking: You can find parking at the rear parking lot much easier.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is no problem with a wheelchair at all.“

“For one, it was open. Secondly, they did their best to seat us since it was late. Though the best part was that the food was good. I do have to add that some of the pricing was high, although the taste basically made up for it. But, the biggest downfall was that the portions were small.“

“For some reason it won’t let me NOT RECOMMEND! Very bad customer service, they charged almost $70 for tips and didn’t even say “Thank you”. We had to literally yell for service, the table next to us was serviced by a girl and she did took care of her table, I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here, first and last time. We spent almost $500, and not worth it, not coming back“

“I’m gonna be so real I didn’t order but I was feeling really bad because I had to use the bathroom while at Ross, and that bathroom is DISGUSTING. And their toilet paper is literally so thin I can see through it, so I just came in here to use the bathroom and honestly great place, plus the bathroom door was thick so I didn’t have to be self conscious and they had great toilet paper, 10/10 experience (sorry for not ordering guys hope you can forgive me)“

“Fabulous food, even more fabulous service. We sat at the bar because they were so busy. The bartender was awesome. Drinks were very tasty, and she was totally on top of her bar. Drinks were done very quickly, and food was as well. Only gave 4 stars for food and atmosphere because I wanted to show that the bartender deserved a higher rating.“
