“Incredible food and flavor. Very accommodating forwards GF diet and good service. We save this place for more special events because it's pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. The restaurant is a vibe not too loud it has a nice slightly casual elegance and a clean restroom. The beef tataki is a must order it's our favorite thing one the menu and when I go everyone orders their own beef tataki appetizer. Salmon sashimi melts in you mouth and anything they make scallops is delicious.“

“Marcelo was an amazing server and staff, as well as all the other staffs that brought out meat, refilled our drinks, and clear our table. We were here to celebrate our anniversary and wouldn't have done it at a better spot than this. The meat had a great selection to choose from.“

“My family and I have been coming to Yu Shang for 20+ years. The main staff are amazing. know us by name, and as we almost always get the same thing, remember our orders. Though are great with recommendations if we do want to try anything new. The restaurant itself has definitely seen better days, but it never feels like you have to rush when there. You catch up with the staff and enjoy a nice meal. Though it is a bit on the more expensive side, we think it's worth it. We go for special occasions or just when we miss the food. We usually get the mixed tempura, sizzling rice soup, curry chicken with mushrooms and broccoli, oyster sauce beef with mixed vegetables and a sizzling shrimp and mixed vegetables plate. 10% of the time, they might be inconsistent but not usually when dining in. Though be careful when ordering out. They're are consistently short with their portions when ordering out.“

“Sushi Tri is tremendously delicious and correctly priced. My only grievance is that when you get miso soup to go, they put it in a container that has a small hole in the lid and they do not double bag that container so by the time you get home most of the soup has sloshed into the bag that holds the full order. It’s very annoying. Otherwise, I adore Sushi Tri“

“Excellent! I’m sharing the fish rolls Amy and Olivia had, they finished with some amazing looking Faty Toro. The avocado roll was excellent, I was surprised by the Veggie Roll, next time I’ll get at least 2! The mix of crunch and flavor is fantastic! I also got the special veggie roll, the long sour finish was stunning, sneaky and rewarding! I’ll be back!!!“

“The food I received was cold. The food was delicious. They did make a mistake with my friends order due to a mix up with gluten free but remedies it within about 5-7 minutes. Given we were there for a bit before getting the food I did not make a fuss about the meal being cold.“

“Sakura sushi is honestly a great place to eat, but here’s the thing. The food is great but the service isn’t. Plus they don’t give you directions that you actually have to get up your self and order. I sat there for over a half n hour with my father, just for some tobiko nigiri. And it’s not an easy place to find, the location isn’t very pleasing. Theo overall review is four stars. Thank you.“

“Everything was good with clearly the potential to be great. Maybe the best thing was they were extremely busy, but unfortunately that affected our service and food. They had lots of to go orders happening. Food was very good except we didn't really enjoy the baked scallop salmon. The people are very nice and welcoming. The space is very small, but makes it quite quaint if you like that. I will definitely go back for another experience!“

“I came upon Sushi Ko four years ago and I have been a regular ever since. Though I don't particularly fancy sushi or sashimi, my favorite is their "Tempura and Chicken Teriyaki combo" This item comes with one shrimp tempura, assorted tempura vegetables, chicken teriyaki, mixed greens salad dressed with the tastiest salad dressing, miso soup and steamed white rice. I always order an extra shrimp. Everything is cooked perfectly and consistently delicious! Even if I am not a sushi and sashimi eater, I am certain and confident to say that their sushi and sashimi items are excellent, as evidenced by the faces of their happy, satisfied guests. I am delighted to say that service is superb!“

“Yikes. Don’t get the chicken teriyaki bowl. It tastes like old/cheap chicken and it doesn’t come with veggies. Just teriyaki sauce poured on top. The rice was fine, so that’s all I ate. So disappointed. Paid $11.95 for the bowl. Luckily I enjoyed their Thai iced tea with boba and lychee. Can’t expect the food at a boba shop to be exquisite but this bowl was just a waste of money.“

So far, in my journey to sample all the sushi restaurants in San Rafael, this is the best sushi in town - hands down. The fish is incredibly fresh and the taste is perfect. Big tvs playing sports that you can see from everywhere. Quick and polite service. Fresh sea food and tasty at that. Lil bit pricey but then again it is sushi and sushi is expensive lol.“

“I'm surprised to see less-than-five-star reviews for Amberjack. I have ordered food-for-delivery from Amberjack an embarrassing number of times and it's always so incredibly good. I've eaten here in-person as well and enjoyed that experience. I was raised on an island with a fisherman for a father, so I am a little spoiled when it comes to fish, and I have to say that I'm always so pleased by the quality and freshness of Amberjack's sashimi (and sushi, in general), particularly the hamachi. I understand people stating that it is a little spendy, which it is, but the portions are large and they don't skimp on the amount of fish in/on any rolls or sashimi, so you really do get what you pay for. “For the past 2 years starting with the whole pandemic eat in ordeal we have ordered from Oyama at least once a week because even my 4 and 7 year old are obsessed!!!! Also fresh, made so well, variety, presentation, price, and even through a delivery app it's early and outstanding. We don't even bother going anywhere else. Always nice, we've never had delivery issues and if anything does go wrong they handle it easily.“

Our waiter was exceptionally polite and patient, answering numerous questions we had about the menu. After hiking the Wolf Ridge Trail, we were quite hungry and looking for something healthy and nourishing. We ended up ordering the tempura udon and the chicken nabe. Initially unfamiliar with nabe, our waiter kindly explained that it was a type of soup. While both dishes contained broth, chicken, and various vegetables, they differed significantly in flavor. The udon featured a sweeter broth, whereas the nabe was more savory. Personally, I found the nabe more delicious, but both dishes were satisfying. I left the restaurant feeling full and content.“

“The excellent attention by the staff, from when we arrived and through out our meal was excellent. We were checked on multiple times during our meal. Although we had a party of six our meals arrived at the same time. Quality preparation and quality ingredients made for an outstanding meal.“

“It's a nice small restaurant in a quite side street, where you can easily find free parking. :-) I think it's run by an elderly couple. The food was good, decent price but on the more expensive side. I had sushi, sashimi, rolls and a few other food items. Overall the food was satisfying. I enjoyed the quite atmosphere and the surrounding areas as well.“
