There is a wine for everybody even the non drinkers have coffee and different refreshments. VIEW IS SPECTACULAR… nestled in the hills of Amador county. Lanelle was our host and was EXTREMELY versed in all product knowledge and went the extra mile to ensure the experience was a blast. The whole staff made the LA Mesa Vineyard experience spectacular.“

“Good wine and seating. For being raven-themed, you would expect to see more raven decorations rather than just on the glasses. That being said, I do like the interior and the person who served us. Very polite and double checked on certain requests.“
“What a lovely, accommodating place with great wines. We had booked a tasting for 22 people next door at Perry Creek, but we showed up to find they had closed for the day -- yet we paid them in advance and confirmed. Anyway, a quick call to Windwalker and we headed there. Alanna and Zach welcomed us with open arms -- we sampled a huge variety of wine and many of us bought a lot of wine. The port was excellent as well. Add this to your tasting list if you find yourselves in the area.“

“A must visit!! My boyfriend and I visited Rombauer in Saint Helena a few months ago and it was mentioned to us that there was another facility in Plymouth. We decided to make the trip over a holiday weekend and it did not disappoint! Ample parking, beautiful grounds, incredible staff, and great wine. Dawn led our tasting and she was incredible! She knew so much about the wine, the area, and made us feel at home. It was a bit chilly and she was so kind to allow us to change tables and even brought us multiple blankets. We picked up a few bottles and can't wait to visit again soon!“

“My boyfriend and I had the most incredible time on Saturday ! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking vineyard views. The ambiance was perfect for my Mini Birthday getaway—cozy, scenic, and peaceful.
The wine tasting was a dream! Every pour was thoughtfully curated, and the staff was so knowledgeable, sharing interesting stories about the wines and their origins. We especially loved the Barbera—it was smooth, rich, and absolutely delicious! The cheese pairing is a MUST!
We also enjoyed a beautiful walk through the vineyard, taking in the stunning scenery and soaking up the relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a special date, and we’ll definitely be reminiscing about this experience for a long time.

“Me and another car pulled over after seeing two dogs on highway 49 their owners found us and the dogs on highway 49 and then said thank you and asked us if we wanted a bottle of wine. I followed then to their vineyard and got a free bottle of wine i appreciate the kind gesture i didn't catch the couples names but after a long work day this bottle of wine will be perfect“

“We had the absolute best experience wine tasting with Jeff and Jane. Their property is stunning. Jeff told us the history of mines- gold rush- then starting their family owned winery. All of their wines are beautifuly crafted. Their Chardonnay and Barbara were the best I've ever had. We will be back.“
“This is such a great place to spend.Maybe a dinner or actually a lunch with your loved ones very nice view, very good outdoors and overall nice waitresses, nice personnel, it's a great place to have a glass of good wine and actually have some very, very nice, Georgia food. You can expect to spend anywhere around hundred dollars per bottle of wine there.And for a good lunch, you can expect to spend there around fifty bucks per person.Maybe a little less depend on your hunger.“
“A few years ago I visited Rob’s quaint tasking room in downtown Amador City and fell in love with his wines. Rob’s passion for his wines shines through in each and every bottle. They are all delicious. So I went back a few weeks ago and picked up two cases with a mix of Rose, Cab, S&M, Chardonnay , and Sauvignon Blanc for my mom’s 70th bday party in the Bay Area. “Nice and veery small winery. Run by a husband and wife with friends and family. We learned a lot from talking to the owners directly, which was nice.
Delicious and unique wine. We loved the zinfandel, cabernet and syrah. I’m not a fan of chardonnay generally, but loved theirs.
The ambiance left a little to be desired, but overall good experience. Great wine.“

“Beautiful winery! So many great places where you can go and enjoy a class of wine. Even on a rainy day it was breathtaking. $10 wine tasting for 4 samples. Wine tasting is waived if you buy a bottle. 3 of the 4 samples are red wines. I am not a fan of red wines, but plenty of flavor for those who love their red wines. Ironically, I ended up walking out with their Barbera which was my favorite of theirs. We look forward to coming back. Walk-ins are welcome. :)“

“I brought six other friends from Santa Barbara on a wine trip to Amador/Fairplay wine region. we had wonderful time at Ruggero’s Mastroserio Winery. so many great wines to choose from. among them the Petit Syrah and Teroldego were two of my favorites.“
“We were recommended this tasting room by a friend at TDO, which is closing. Tom the wine maker was in the tasting room. Him and his were very cordial. Nice tasting room and even a tent outside. We arrived 30 mins before they closed, but said it was no problem. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back in October and probably join their club.“

“A super beautiful and friendly winery located in Plymouth California. They have extreme bargains in terms of wines with some unique blends that you will not find anywhere else. The stewards were fantastic and the employees know their wine well. The tasting fee will get waived with a simple bottle purchase.“

“This is a winery with great views and even better wines. I don't know of any other local wineries that have Super Tuscans; yet, I found two super fantastic ones at Il Gioiello/Morse Wines.I recently had the opportunity to attend a small private event at this winery and love the ambiance, the staff, and the fellow knowledgeable wine lovers who also consider Il Gioiello / Morse Wines to be their favorite go-to winery. I highly recommend taking the road less traveled (Fiddletown Road to Tyler to Lawrence) where you can still bring a picnic and enjoy some FABULOUS wines!!“
