“This is a winery with great views and even better wines. I don't know of any other local wineries that have Super Tuscans; yet, I found two super fantastic ones at Il Gioiello/Morse Wines.I recently had the opportunity to attend a small private event at this winery and love the ambiance, the staff, and the fellow knowledgeable wine lovers who also consider Il Gioiello / Morse Wines to be their favorite go-to winery. I highly recommend taking the road less traveled (Fiddletown Road to Tyler to Lawrence) where you can still bring a picnic and enjoy some FABULOUS wines!!“

“Quirky winery dedicated to producing unique varietals, well. Did you know about Tanat? I didn't! Also, they really build on the Raven theme. If you've ever lived/worked in Baltimore, you know what I'm talking about. Most importantly, a walk through a very unique and memorable tasting experience of a winery that scaled BACK from 2,000 to 1,500 cases because they were getting away from the reason they started. Bold move, highly recommend!“

“Unfiltered wines with amazing character presented by knowledgeable and friendly winemaker and staff. No imagination is required to pick up the notes of the unique approaches to varietals offered. Don't let the coziness of the tasting room mislead you into underestimating this absolute gem. End of Nowhere is somewhere everyone should experience when visiting the area. I cannot more highly recommend a weekend getaway lunch location for avid or curious wine drinkers. For the price conscious consumer, I am happy to report that End of Nowhere is one of the most reasonably priced both in retail and wine club I have experienced and the value for price is astounding.“

“Greatly enjoyed our tasting at this winery. I am a sucker for Sangioviese so this was right in my wheelhouse! The wine ambassadors were knowledgeable and friendly! Ended up with a bottle of each tasted! Second time here and both visits were quite on-point. Bocce ball court was calling my name but we had another tasting scheduled within the hour! And who doesn't want a picture with the Doggie Diner "statue" in their courtyard! Keep up the good work, Vino Noceto!“

“We were in Sutter Creek on a Wednesday trying to celebrate my birthday. Most places were closed and we were very disappointed with the whole situation. Then we went into Scott Harvey's where Franklin was our server he was funny, charming, helpful, informative and friendly. He totally turned our day around! I highly recommend this business and most certainly we recommend Franklin for your server“

“Stopped here randomly on the way back to town, and they did not disappoint! The wine is delicious and, most importantly, reasonably priced. Everyone was friendly, including the winemaker. They have a very delicious very unique dessert wine. Needless to say, I joined their wine club!“

“Wines were ok but nothing tasted above an 88. They were getting ready for the Friday game night and if we didn't already have a reservation would have probably come back. The house with the tasting room is cute and very homey. The staff was very friendly and great customer service.“

“Alex and Josy are perfect hosts. They are friendly and can recommend wines for your personal tastes. Alex brought me on a tour of the vineyards, showing the differences in the grape clusters of the different varieties. The couple also has homemade seasonal food choices that pair with their wines as well as satisfy your hunger. Their large AIR CONDITIONED tasting room has large, comfortable tables. The views are great, the visitors are friendly. This is definitely worth a stop.“

“This was a cute vineyard my family and I visited yesterday. They have a complimentary flight which I tried which had a white, orange muscat, sangoivese, another red (I cannot remember), and port to finish it off. They all tried out the delicious selections of ports that deaver sold. We did our tastings inside the gift shop where they also sold cute napkins, spreads, and water bottles. The service was quick and I even got to try some extra tastings like the almond champagne in addition to my complimentary tastings. I will definitely come back to try the port tastings next time since everyone in my family seemed to enjoy them all!“

“We dropped in on a Saturday to visit this lovely winery without a reservation. I just want to say what a pleasure it was to meet the owners, Mark and Marget, and how much we enjoyed visiting with them. The wines that we were offered were delicious, as was their home made olive oil. We always try to stop at a winery that is new to us on each of our visits to the area. I am sure we will be back to Slo 2 20 soon. Of course, we left with a couple of bottles of their 2018 Zin. We cannot wait to open them at home, and enjoy the wines as well as the memories. Andy W“

“It just so happened I was interested in doing the Girl Scout pairing and I thought this was a different winery. I am glad I did ...we were told to have a seat and someone would be with us soon. I assumed it would take a while, but to my surprise a sweet girl name Migali I think that's her name ...greeted us right away with the pairings of Girl Scout cookies and wine she then explained every wine. A few moments later someone brought us some olive oil tasting with tiny bits of bread. They were sooooo good. I purchased the blackberry balsamic. Migali gave us a tour of the cave on the grounds where they have special dinners and events. It was a pretty good way to start our wine day!“

“Visited this place yesterday while driving around the area and looking for wineries that were open during holiday Christmas week. Found this one and the place had some good wines. Good sparking wines as well and in a very quiet and nice atmosphere. The ambiance was nice and really quiet during the time we went so that was cool. “We visit Dobra every time we come to Plymouth. Wine is stronger than most but it is really good. Kristi always remembers us and she is always just so much fun to talk to. The grounds are big and pretty and you do your tasting in the cave which is always nice and cool. If you have never been, I totally recommend trying Dobra.“

“Very nice and comfortable tasting room in the oldest building in the smallest town in California. I learned that today. This is what wine tasting should be like.
