“I tried Tsuruhashi for the first time, and everything was delicious. The meat was high quality, especially the wagyu, which melted in your mouth. I really liked the sauce that they gave to dip the meat; it went really well together. Service was nice and attentive. I'd highly recommend this place.“

“If you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere and excellent food, look no further. The service here is super friendly and helpful, but the real highlight is the menu. I highly recommend the steak tartare, and definitely try the 'Wagyu experience'—order the American followed by the Japanese cut to really appreciate the distinct textures. It's a delicious study in contrasts! Be sure to book a table in advance!“

“Fabulous experience. Felt like we had 4 people attending to us at all times while we were focused on the coursed meal. 2 hours flew by with phenomenal pairings, including combinations we haven't seen before. We recently attended the Omakase at the Ritz in Laguna Niguel; Momoyama was better... just need to forget that you're in a strip mall.“

“I’ve been coming here for years. They have the best rolls. They’re a decent size and price. Everything you get from here is fresh and delicious. Everyone I’ve brought here, says it’s their favorite and comes back often. The staff is always kind and friendly. Lindsay and Karen make this place special as well as the male chef. They always remember me, know my order and are so kind and accommodating. I will never, ever, stop coming here!“

“Omoi Sushi in Fountain Valley is such a great find! They have an impressive variety of specialty rolls, bento boxes, and appetizers, so there’s something for everyone whether you’re craving classic sushi or something more unique.
Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The Lion King, Orange Blossom, and 911 rolls are all standouts — super flavorful and beautifully prepared.
They offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery, which makes it really convenient, and the service has always been friendly and attentive. Whether you’re going for lunch or dinner, Omoi Sushi is a solid choice if you’re looking for creative rolls, fresh sashimi, or even teriyaki bowls and udon. Definitely coming back! 🍣“

“Sushi Koto is always a treat for me. I love to come here for what I feel is the next best thing to eating in Japan. There is always a wait for Sunday brunch, but they do take reservations. Excellent service and friendly staff. This is definitely not your ordinary neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Highly recommend it!“

“WOW. What a great experience!! I came here at 6:40 on a Friday night and, surprisingly, there was no wait. The restaurant was homey, clean, and cozy. Vince set us up and our waitress, May, kindly explained the menu. We ordered the Bread & Butter, Miso Bacon Carbonara, and Butokaku. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! The focaccia bread was satisfyingly soft and fluffy like a sponge, paired wonderfully with the whipped honey butter. The Butokaku (pork belly) was savory, fatty, and salty. The Miso Bacon Carbonara had good flavor and nice bite, but I honestly wasn't super impressed with the mochi noodles. Regular pasta noodles might have been better. Overall, I was very impressed with the excellent service (down to cheese grated by the manager), warm interior decor, and beautiful presentation and flavors of the food. I couldn't help but peek at other peoples' tables -- Everything looked amazing. I definitely plan on coming back to try other dishes and dessert!!“
